This could be feasable somewhat in modern tech, but to determine for real it is I need three numbers: length of the rails used in the rail gun (in meters), weight of the projectile (in kilograms) and the distance they are apart (in meters please). I will then plug them into a few formulas to determine a few fun facts about the gun...

Ummm it would be kinda hard to get you a specific number for the second one, considering plasma is a gas, which also affects how it is pushed out of the barrel.....Also the magnetic properties of plasma would throw off your formula, the rails themselves could be made of it....

In any normal high-powered railgun the voltage causes plasma to occur in the projectile itself.....but just get an estimate for length and seperation of the rails...

Alright then, 1.5m long, mebbe .05m seperation. The rails can be moved closer or farther apart to allow for more mass or more range, as well as to prevent damage to the rails.

Would it require special training and mantainence to use? Wouldn't it break down easily?

The missiles are fired the same way as any other missile would be, maintaining them is similar, but they have no explosive warhead. The reuseable cannon may require calibration and rail replacements every so often, but those are straightforward, it is fired by a program that interacts with the plane's autopilot to line up precise shots out of visual range. It wont break down in flight, but like everything on a plane it should be checked before flying.

On a more serious note, we'd be interested in licensing your RA-G5 technology to replace our 30mm and 9mm anti-aerospace and point-defense systems on all Juumanistran ships, as well as existing projectile mounts on the SF/A-8.

I to say it, but I need to place another order. :( The reason is that Delios has changed it's naval strategy. Originally, we were going to have 2 fleets. One was to be for home defense while the other was to be our offensive fleet. That policy has been changed to one fleet for defence and two for offense. In a recent order to Doujinshi Corperation, everything was ordered in multiples of 3 to be split into their respective fleets. The problem lies in the fact that everything ordered from this storefront was ordered in multiples of two as per Delios's original strategy.

My following order will round out the Deliotian 3rd Home Defense Fleet: 2 Lynx Class Trimaran Carriers, 3 Cygnus Class Strike Carriers, 6 Relentless Class Trimaran Destroyers, 12 SilverFish Class Multirole Trimaran Frigates, 6 Odyssey Class Missile Subs, 30 Pirahna Class Light Attack Subs, 48 Tempest D-15 Combat Dropships with the booster and 12 without, 270 Valefor 29A Air Superiority Fighters, 330 RA-G5 20mm Gas-Gun Aerospace Cannons, 90 RA-PL10 Rechaeargable Plasma Cannons, 10,000 Cutthroat Multirole Plasma Lance Missiles, 600 Imp Close Range Missiles, 7000 W.A.S.P. systems, and 21,000 reloads. I realize this order may take quite some time, and I am willing to wait for a few years. Also, I would like to look into buying production rights for the Valefore and associated weaponry. Alright, we'll start filling that order, but you're right, it will take several ns years....

The production rights for the Valefor aren't going to be on sale for a while, especially as we are going to be marketting it more heavily soon...The rocket boosters will go on sale to allies(including you) now basically :-P. It should be noted that the Valefor is really the only fighter that can use it, because it is the only fighter in NS with our PFR system, and our ceramic heat-paint.

It's alright if you don't want to sell production rights for the Valefor, but I will need some booster for my Valefor's soon. Anyway, thanks for considering me your ally. May the fuzzy bunny be with you.
