The IDF military started planning immediately. Then newly gained lands of Austria and Hungary would greatly help this war effort. Planes and other forces would be based there. The rest of the forces would be based out of Israel.

The mission is one of revenge and protection of IDF. G&C will be bombed heavily. Cyprus will be blockaded by the naval forces. IDF realized that Cyprus is to be the staging point for attacks on us and other allies such as Ottoman Khaif who was threatened once by G&C.

The rest of the ships will be 50 miles off the Greek coast blockading them if neccesary or just firing missiles and guns into their nation. The ships, many are AEGIS, will provide protection from missiles and help shoot down planes with their SM-4 SAMs at a range of 200 miles.

The air force will pummel G&C and possibly work a no fly zone that will shoot down any unallowed flights within the borders of G&C. Civilian airliners are exempt unless intel says they have weapons or illegal supplies aboard.

G&C will be given a chance to cede Cyprus now and denounce terrorism. Their president must resign and turn himself over to IDF authorities where he will be put on trial for his sponsoring of the murder of 65,000 IDF civilians.

IDF AF started the Air war simultaneosly.



The large IDF fleet started sending up F-35 JSFs with Harpoon ASMs. There were 250 of the planes in the air within an hour. They were headed for Cyprus where enemy ships were blockading. A quartet of RC-135s flying under SAM ship and F-15C protection had found surface contacts presumed hostile. There were a few dozen enemy ships in the area of the blockade. The F-35s came to a range of 150 miles. The pilots armed their Harpoons. The stealth planes would have their missiles guided by the look down radars on the large converted Boeing 707 recon birds. At 125 miles, the optimum fire range, the stealth planes launched a total of 500 Harpoon missiles. Each had a warhead of 500 pounds and quickly beared in on their targets. Each plane fired 2. The planes then pulled up and switched radar control to a pair of E-3 Sentrys that were tracking F-5Ks from the enemy carrier in the Cyprus area. The JSFs still kept radar down.

The planes were using AWACs radar still. The first 50 F-35s closed to a range of 25 miles and started firing AMRAAMs at the F-5s. The 250 F-35s had 2 AMRAAMS each and 2 sidewinders each. After each of the 1st 50 fired 2 AMRAAMs, they turned back on full burner for 10 minutes and then slowed and waited. The next 50 came in and went for the remainders (this is where you come in G&C)

224 F-22As took off from the bases in Haifa. They quickly met KC-110s, 135s, and 767 refuelers to extend their range. They were armed with 3 AMRAAMs each and 3 Sidewinders. They were to take out the enemy Air force under stealth. 6 767 ER AWACs were in between Greece and Cyprus. They were being defended by the SAM missiles of the IDF fleet. There were also 48 F-15Cs running racetrack patterns around them for protection.

The F-22s were on supercruise which allowed them to go mach 1.5 without afterburners. They were going to help maintain stealth by not using radars and having their missiles guided by the large rotodome RADARs on the AWACs birds. They came to a range of 175 miles from the southern Cypriot coast. They would take out the planes there first. They searched for the Airwing stationed there. The AWACs had some radar bounces and directed the fighters in. The AWACs alone didn't get returns surface ships with the 8 megawatt AEGIS radar got returns and started firing 2 SM-4 Block 1 SAMs at each. The missiles had an effective range of 200 miles. The planes were 150 miles away from the missiles. (post losses here)

The Most Serene Republic of Shalrirochia acted quickly today to condemn the summary executions of innocent civilians by Tagio (also referred to as Tagikistana on Shalrirorchian maps).

In response to unconfirmed reports of widespread violence erupting at the behest of the government in Tagistead, the Defense Department confirmed today that the SRV Liberation Carrier Battle Group has diverted course to move within range of Taigo, and that the Rapid Reaction Force consisting of the 1st and 3rd Paratrooper Divisions is breaking off training and mustering near the major Shalrirorchian air/port city of Dalamar.

"We have credible intelligence that Shalrirorchian citizens may be among the persecuted factions in Taigo. Shalrirorchia will not allow harm to come to its' citizens." the Defense Department announced.

Though coming off a recent modernization programme, Shalrirorchia's armed services have not fought in a major confrontation in over 50 years. Analysts are divided as to whether or not the Military is prepared to fight on anything other than a local level at this moment. Nevertheless, the M-16s are being polished tonight.

OOC- Read, Taigo, Recon flights over your territory by Shalrirorchian airplanes have been enacted, and the RRF and the Carrier's Marine Support Force are preparing for immediate deployment, consisting of perhaps 25,000 soldiers plus tanks and other vehicles.

Shalrirorchia recently modernized with advanced U.S.-built hardware such as M-16 battle rifles, Kevlar armor (a new addition since the old army didn't have that), and night-vision equipment for Special Forces.

The vehicle inventory was completely reshuffled, replacing all the old Soviet-era vehicles in rotations with more modern equipment (although some of the old Soviet-built armored personnel carriers and SAMs remain). The pride and joy of the Army is the Crusader MBT (Main Battle Tank) based loosely on the USA vehicle of the same name in Command and Conquer Generals in terms of appearance.

The main aircraft loaded on the carrier in the battle group is the Tomcat, updated with modern computers and controls. you would never fit more tha 5,000 in caves and your army is likely bigger than that. Here is your choice come out and fight or I nuke the mountain (no mountain withstands high-yield nukes not ever NORAD can). you can't fit armor vehicles there anyways

Major General Sharana cracked his knuckles and tried not to let the alluring sound of sea surf distract him. Taigo's beaches were beautiful...it was hard to believe the reports coming out of HQ.

But Sharana was not here to weigh the sociopolitical ramifications of this operation, merely to carry it out.

"Gentlemen, at approximately midnight Shalrirorchia's armed forces began operations against Taigo. The Marines are already coming ashore, and the lead elements of the Rapid Expeditionary Force are paradropping on the preliminary targets, as you well know.

Resistance so far has been light...we believe that they've pulled back into the interior, but Intel has been unable to confirm. We've got particular interest in eliminating any located NSG units, as we believe that they are carrying out the ethnic cleansing alleged by the Shalrirochian government.

The Tomcats are bombing all military targets still in sight, beginning with the air defense network. CENTCOM wants the Marines to proceed to Tagistead as soon as possible...they believe a victory there will demoralize Taigo." the general had to yell out the last few words as a Chinook helicopter transport roared overhead, carrying a Humvee clutched beneath it. The wind thrown up by the rotors nearly tore the command tent out of the soft sand.

The general was about to say something else when, from the top of the tree canopy, a flare of white-hot light erupted. "RPG!" screamed someone, and the command staff ducked. The Chinook barely managed to miss the incoming fire, but one Shalrirorchian light-attack helicopter was not so fortunate. The missile clipped her tail rotors and exploded, shredding the back half of the aircraft. Sharana cursed as the chopper belched smoke and slammed into the beach no more than 50 yards away. Medical vehicles immediately converged, while Sharana pointed at the area from whence the Taigo-built RPG had originated.

"Excellent job Mr. Tradhomme, I believe there might be a future in the professonial forces for you" came the reply from NSG Sgt. Hans Bhaer. Suddenly Bhaer turned around and barked out "Guardsmen go scout ahead and elimate them all, save the high rankers, capture them" "Yes Sir!!" said the NSG troopers as they began to form up and march towards there target. Pvt Tradhomme watched the troopers prepare and reached for his RPG when he was grabbed by one of the NSG troopers who said: "Mr. Tradhomme I would think you could help us better by helping Sgt Bhaer with that mortar" then the trooper pointed toward Sgt Bhaer, who was lugging a large mortar onto the scene. "You mean to support the attack with mortars?" said Tradhomme, "Of course" replied the NSG trooper. "Very well I will go help Sgt. Bhaer" came Tradhomme a few momnets later. "Good boy" said the tropper who quickly ran back towards his unit.

TAIGO BEACHHEAD, NEW SHALRIRORCHIAN AIRFIELD

"Sir, our force will press ahead. We've got Special Forces infilitrating Tagistead to try and raise an insurrection with the oppressed minorities there, but we have precious few weapons to spare. And construction of this improvised air field proceeds apace, as you can see." Major General Sharana informed his superior, General Aldrus Gistarai. Aldrus was a distant cousin of the President himself, and the commander of the entire Taigo operation.

"Excellent. I just spoke to the Defense Minister via satellite. He's going to be moving in the heavy mechanized troops as soon as we manage to get a place for the reinforcements to fly in." Gistarai replied, slapping his laptop computer shut. The general put on his uniform coat and turned to say something else to Sharana. It was at that very moment that Sharana's aide came rushing in. "SIR! Forward recon picket is being overrun!" he cried breathlessly.

Both generals put on their caps and sprinted out into the night. Barely had they cleared the tent flap when a nearby explosion illuminated the sky and sent both running for cover. "MORTARS!" shouted someone, and the ground thundered to the beat of enemy artillery.

Downrange from the command post, a MBT-5 Crusader tank took a direct hit from a heavy shell and began to burn, the crew spilling out in a desparate attempt to escape. Gistarai became acutely aware of the perimeter as M-16 fire spilled into the night, retaliating against an oncoming tide of foes. Machine gun nests soon joined in as clearly defined targets became available.

"MAKE SAFE THE GENERAL!" bellowed Sharana, and three soldiers with battle rifles surrounded the CINCOPT (Commander-In-Chief, Operations, Taigo). "Get me the Carrier! I need air cover now! NOW DAMN IT NOW!"

"Iron Hand, this is Starbase Foxtrot-One, do you copy?" the radio squawked.

Lt. James Pearson blinked in surprised as he flew his Tomcat in the night sky. Foxtrot-One was the call sign of the Admiral himself aboard the carrier "Starbase". "

"Foxtrot-One, Iron-Hand Alpha responding. Awaiting orders."

"Iron-Hand, Foxtrot-One. Marine Beach Position Three is under heavy attack by Taigo Army Formation of unknown size. The CINCOPT is in jeopardy. Proceed to Marine Beach Position Three at maximum speed and engage all enemy targets. Cover the evacuation helicopter when it arrives. Failure is NOT an option, Foxtrot-One!"

TAIGO BEACHHEAD, NEW SHALRIRORCHIAN AIRFIELD

General Sharana and drew his service pistol, firing the first 50-caliber round through General Gistarai's forgotten laptop. He'd be DAMNED if he let the Taigo have that classified information! It was war plans, formations, everything! He ran back into the tent as the soldiers manning the machine gun nearby began firing at the oncoming enemies. Gistarai had apparently had much the same idea...he was already frantically burning papers. The lives of soldiers in the other Taigo task forces depended on it.

The generals had destroyed a majority of the sensitive material when armed troops entered the tent...and they were NOT wearing the uniforms of Shalrirorchian forces. "HANDS UP!" cried one of the NSG troopers. Both generals complied without hesitation.

They had thought the fight over at that point, but the Marines launched a counter-attack to retake the command tent. M-16 fire stitched the air, forcing EVERYBODY to take cover, friend or foe.

And then the Tomcats arrived.

"Eat this, you zealots." Lt. Pearson said in his cockpit.

The bombs landed squarely on the heads on the Taigo front...high-yield napalm devices designed for just this type of situation. The destruction was impressive, regardless of who you were rooting for. The primary targets were the Taigo mortars that were currently raining death down on the Marines, but any unfriendly face was a potential target. The second half of Iron Hand shrieked in several seconds later, discharging cluster bombs that were suited to targeting airfields but useful anti-infantry weapons as well.

By the time the smoke cleared, the CINCOPT was rescued by the Marines from the flattened command tent. But Maj. General Sharana and most of the NSG team were gone.

Gistarai swore and motioned to an arriving Special Forces commando. "Get your team ready to rock and roll in twenty minutes. You have a 2-star to rescue."

Among the forests of Tagio the NSG team marched quickly across the landscape, trying to put the most amount of space in the least amount of time between them and the Shalrirorchian forces that he was sure was following. Two or three troopers behind him, with a gun to his neck was their captive, a two star general, while they had for a moment to possiblty to capture another general, that one escaped during the airstrike. 5 minutes later the group halted on a small ridge and went into the forest were the troopers uncovered a machine gun, The NSG commander, Rudolph Ridding then spoke in a quiet tone: "Mr. Hasling I want you take half the team and man the machine gun on the other side of the road." Hasling nodded but seemed troubled and said "no disrespect Commander Ridding but shouldn't we try to get to the base?" Ridding repsonded a few moments later "Yes but if the enemy has sent troops after us we must defend ourseleves with absolute certainly of sucess, plus we must make sure they never uncover the camp" "the camp??" replied Hasling, then reconization dawned on him. A few moments later Hasling and half of the team went to other side of the road. Ridding smiled, the enemy would have no idea what was going to hit them.

His code name was Ranger One.

, I figured this would happen. This sever kept on giving errors everytime I tired to post. Though I would appericate it if you would edit your post to fit the sitution.

His code name was Ranger One.

The Rangers were the finest Shalrirorchian force that never existed. Since their creation in 1972, the government had denied that the Rangers existed in theory or reality. The training was harsh...fewer than one in a hundred applicants actually managed to complete the entire course. The final test for a prospective Ranger was to be dumped, sans equipment, into the middle of the dense Sha'lar Jungle. The recruit had to traverse miles of swampy, misty terrain filled with fierce jungle-tigers and venomous snakes to complete a mission...attacking a fully-alert Shalrirorchian Army depot...all to be done within 72 hours of insertion.

That little adventure made THIS jungle mission seem like a walk in the park.

"Your attention, Rangers." Ranger One said on the command circuit. "I believe we've located our missing duckling. My bet is that he's located in that gaggle of goons up ahead, based on the recon."

Ranger One couldn't see the reaction on the faces of his men. In fact, he couldn't see them at all...their armor was black as the night. Lethal panthers, as they were. Switching from night vision to thermal, he spotted them and confirmed location. He pulled out his PDA...a special, low-glow model that wouldn't give away his position to any sentries with keen eyes. Over the course of the next five minutes, he specified which members of his team, code-named Unity One, would strike and where. The silenced MP5s hanging on their backs were -perfect- for this sort of jungle melee.

"Look sharp, Unity." Ranger One said, activating the comm circuit again. "Command says these guys are NSG...seriously bad mofos. Do not understimate them. Don't give them a chance to figure out we're here. Stealth and speed."

Ranger One checked his PDA again and snapped it shut before continuing. "In exactly oh-fifteen minutes, I want those charges placed. I see several emplacements and troop concentrations. Plant the charges without detection and withdraw to tactical assault positions. Five minutes after that, we will simultaneously liquidate the sentries and blow the charges. Alpha will sweep to position Wolf as marked on your PDAs, and Bravo will secure the package. Escort him out in a hurry...twenty-seven minutes after the commencement of engagement, Navy Tomcats will arrive and accomplish the complete thermal destruction of the target encampment, if you can call it that.

Both squads, be advised Intel thinks NSG Intelligence officers are stationed here and launched the attack that mauled the Marines. You have permission to liquidate those officers if you must, capture if can." Ranger One finished. He closed the circuit, then tapped a control on his timer that set the seconds ticking down.

Ranger One, also known as Colonel John Reading, drew his combat knife and moved in complete stealth towards an isolated NSG sentry.

I would help with fighting Taigo, but am fighting Greece & Cyprus on the other front of this war.

Hans Grubbel stood over the body of a dead jewish woman when suddenly a massive termor knocked him off his feet followed by two other equally powerful termors. Grubbel got to his feet angerly and shouted "Mr. Gliespeel I thought you said there would no earthquakes!!" Heindrich Gliespeel straighted his ruffled shirt and said "I don't think that was a earthquake mein Fuehur" "Then what could it have been Mr. Gliespeel" replied an even more angry then before Hans Gruubel " I don't know but I will find out". A few hours later Grubbel was walking through the cave system when a man wearing the white shirt of Gliespeel's Department of Intelligence ran up to him and said breathlessly "Mr. Gliespeel told me to give you this sir" Gruubel took the paper and read it over, appearently some sort of missle barrage brought down Mountain three. Grubbel looked as though he would explode to young courier and he cringed as though he expected Grubbel to really explode, but instead od exploding he said in a barely calm voice " Go to the command center and tell them to issue an Code: Briskeller, they will know what to do" when the courier didn't move Grubbel screamed "NOW!!!" the courier nodded and ran towards the command center wondering what a Code: Briskeller was.

Blast those Shalrirorchians thought Commander Ridding as he ran away from the battle and towards the conclead concentration camp, thankful that the enemy had not found it. Upon reaching the commander's house he switched on his radio and said "Attention Attention all alive troopers this Commander Ridding I am ordering you all to fight to the death, prevent the enemy from discovering the this clenseing camp, I repeat fight to the death prevent the enemy from discovering the cleansing camp." Following this Ridding switched on the emergency reinforcements radio, in hopes that reinforcements from the nearby caves, or better yet fellow NSG troopers would come here to block the enemy advance. Suddenly the ground shook slightly and Ridding stuck his head out of a open window, just in time a flight of enemy planes zoom off into the distence, Ridding guessed they had been called to clear the area of any stragglers. Pulling his head back inside the house Ridding walked to part of the house farthest from the door and went into prone position, just in case.

My army is small, not that many men, it is a known real world tactic to go into caves if you have the, also it is not my entire army that is in the caves, only the infantry. The militia, armor, and NSG is out in the open waiting for you. I have to leave the computer for tonight, so I will be back tomarrow moring

The VC and NVA managed to get vehicles, even tanks into their tunnels. Disassemble them then reassemble them.

Also, if the caves are deep enough you'd be good to go. I have been to the Meramec Caves in Missouri where you could easily fit thousands of people and plenty of supplies.

"Sir!" Ranger One said, and saluted the newly liberated Maj. General Sharana. "I am Colonel Reading, Ranger Force."

"Congratulations, Colonel Reading! You have my thanks." the General replied, mopping his brow with a dirty hankerchief fished out of his pocket. "Status Report, Colonel."

"Yes sir. The NSG force was really surprised, sir. I don't believe they expected to be taken in their own trap. We have a MEDEVAC chopper inbound, ETA 12 minutes. It will take you back to your command base. I am authorized by General Gistarai to inform you that the perimeter is secure, and the task forces have begun Vengeful Eagle."

"Excellent. Well done, son...you're a credit to the profession. I have a new mission for you."

"Sir?"

"The NSG CO was a Commander Ridding. He got lost in the fight when your boys stormed in." the General informed him.

"We did not terminate an NSG Commander, sir, unless he was not wearing his appropriate rank pins." Ranger One replied.

"Then he probably escaped. He might have a base in this area, or not. But as a member of Taigo's elite forces, he might have valuable information. I don't need to remind you, Reading, that the total forces of Taigo still outnumber us substantially. They've only been kept off balance so far. I want to ensure they stay that way. Find Commander Ridding in this jungle-hell and take him prisoner, then return him to my command post so we can have a little chat."

"Yes SIR!" Ranger One replied, activating his radio. "Attention, Black Hawk One. This is Ranger One...I need a pick up ASAP. Ring Intel...I need the latest thermal imaging of this grid and sector. If there's a base out here, it'll stick out like a sore thumb from the heat radiation."


SHALRIRORCHIAN COMMAND BASE "LIBERATION", TAIGO BEACH-

"WHAT!!?!?" screamed Gistarai into his phone.

"Sir, we have confirmed nuclear detonations in the interior of the island, unknown source. It could be a Taigo thing." the voice on the other end of the line said.

"If that's the case, then why did they nuke their own mountains and not US?" General Gistarai replied acidly. He hung up the phone in disgust, then called for his own aide-de-kamp. "JACOBS! Get in here!"

The freckle-faced lieutenant saluted upon entry. "Sir?"

"Alert all commands that a nuclear weapon or weapons have been detonated somewhere in the Taigo interior. Fallout is a possibility..have the men break out the rad suits."

"Yes sir!" the lieutenant said, turning several shades more pale. "Sir, Army Command reports it has enough armored vehicles to drive on the Tagi capital. Barely. Fuel is a problem. On the other hand, they will maneuver through relatively open terrain. Another armored task force was scheduled to drive on the mountain passes."

"Divert that task force to drive on Tagistead...I will not put my soldiers in radiation-central unless I have no other choice." Gistarai replied firmly. "As soon as Maj. General Sharana returns, I need him in this tent...he needs to know what is going on."

"Yes sir."

"And Jacobs?"

"Sir?"

"Kindly find me some better coffee. Any more of this crap is gonna chew a hole right through my stomach."

Don't worry about the radiation, most is caught in the collapse of the mountains, the rest will be trapped by the other mountains. Your troops and the Taigo civilians will be safe from the radiation. I would not use the nukes if the situation was otherwise.

OOC: Taigo post losses, all in the mountains and caves should be dead or dying.

Secondly this will be my last post until saturday as I am going on a family trip to see my Grandma. A FEW HOURS OUTSIDE OF TAGISTEAD


Hans Grubbel watched on with pride as Tagi troops marched past him on the way to Tagistead, he realized that he and his troops were really lucky to have not been caught by any Shalrirorchians so far. If everything continued to as planned then the planned Code: Briskeller would make this whole thing nothing more then unpleasent memory. As Grubbel gave the salute to the passing Troop Crawlers (an Tagi bulit halftrack like thing with mortars and a cannon) he thought angerily about how much the attack on mountain three had cost him, a little more then half of the infantry and some 4 divisons of tanks, not mention a unknown number NGS personnal. Still Grubbel thought he still enough troops to pull off his Code: Briskeller. Suddenly interrupting his revivire a young NGS lieutenant marched up to him and reported "Sir I am sorry to interrupt but we have recieved a call for reinforcements from one of the "special" camps" Grubbel thought for a moment and then said "Ignore it lieutenant, we must make to Tagistead with all haste and with all troops" then with out time to let baffled lieutenant respond Grubbel hailed a passing command car and got in, announcing through the comm system that connected the army "TO TAGISTEAD!!"

The way I read it it says 2 for each cave.

The Defense Minister gestured to the screen. "But if they loop around your flank, General Sharana, we may have difficulty extricating you from that position given our current low troop numbers."

The other general nodded back on the vid-screen...the image flickering as random encoding took over to ensure the continued security of this conversation. "Yes sir, that is a distinct possiblity...but the bulk of the Tagi troops seem to be pulling back towards Tagistead in response to the armored drive we are mustering to throw at it. And the launching of THAT assault is not my command or concern." Sharana replied. "In short, I believe they are too busy to take note of me."

"Then it is your call, Ranu. Save for that misstep in the beginning where we nearly lost you, your prosecution of the war has been otherwise spotless. Central Command trusts your judgement in tactical maneuvering or you wouldn't be there. Now, why did you REALLY ask for this conference?" Beregovoy commented.

"Sir, I need the Unity team to be assigned DIRECTLY under my command as an asset of the 1st Marine Divison." Sharana replied.

"And the reason?" Beregovoy asked mildly, sipping his coffee.

"Sir, I believe we are onto something big here..something Tagistead doesn't want us to see. I've ordered Unity to check it out, sir."

Beregovoy drummed his fingers on the tabletop. "We have only a few Ranger teams deployed in that theatre right now, but if it is that important, Ranu, consider the orders given this instant."


TAGI DETENTION CAMP

They had located the camp the day before, thanks to thermals. Ranger One had not wished to approach until nightfall, however...Rangers liked to attack at night, when their enemies were sleepy and half-blinded by shadow. That had not prevented him from surveying the place via binoculars, however.

What he saw was sufficient grounds to make him vomit, though as a professional he dared not allow himself that luxury in front of his men.

"Okay, boys.." Ranger One announced on the command circuit. "Remember, there is an acquisition we are looking to make in this camp. Be careful where you shoot."

"One, Two. Whole place is like a nest of army ants, sir." Ranger Two's voice crackled over the squawk. "Taking out all the gunners AND containing the perimeter's gonna be a cast-iron -----."

"One, Four...I've found a good place to camp." Ranger Four, their sniper, said. "I have a clean shot at many of the sections of the camp."

"Roger that, Four." Ranger One replied. "Ok, gentlemen, they EXPECT us to attack at night, so to keep them off balance this operation will go down exactly an hour before dawn. Four, I am detaching you from Bravo. You will remain in cover in the trees and terminate all unfriendlies you see, except for the package. With that high-caliber round, I want you to put a bullet through that jeep's engine block up front as soon as we begin. Bravo, you will open fire from the west perimeter from behind cover. Lay down heavy fire, people...I WANT the NSG to have all eyes on you. While they are busy shooting into the dark at you, I will lead Alpha in from the east and take them from behind. Waypoints on your PDAs will be forthcoming."

"Roger that, One."

"Once we have the situation outside well in hand, we will execute a takedown with flashbangs on the main structure where the target is believed to be. I repeat, target is to be taken alive." Ranger One signalled. "Seven, if you see the NSG take cover behind that sandbag fortification there, deploy the mortar on Hill Sierra as designated on your PDA and put a napalm round on their heads."

"Roger that, One." Ranger Seven replied.

"Okay people, Shalrirorchia's counting on us. It goes without saying that I expect the same professional service we visited on the NSG last time. You reading me?"

"Clear as glass, sir!" was their immediate reply.

"Good. Operation will commence in precisely two hours and twenty-three minutes....mark."

OOC: Hello everyone I am back!! As it turns out my Dad had told me when would go home without first consulting my Mom. Today was the day she wanted to go home, so here we are.

Commander Ridding was jolted awake by a sudden explosion, followed by the sound of many guns being at once. Ridding immeadiatly got up and reached for his Tiador rifle, locking a cartridge into place and going into a crouched position quickly. Suddenly a bright flash from a flashbang grenade blinded Ridding for a few minutes. As his sight was beginning to return Ridding made out some dark figures advancing into house, symstematicly checking each room. Ridding waited patinentcly (excuse spelling) till the figures got into a postion were he could hit them, then he opened fire. The first two figures went down immeadiatly, the others dived for cover and began to return fire. The fire fight was short and fierce, Ridding put all of his training and experience into fight, not firing until he was certain he would hit. As Ridding continued to fight the enemy he was certain he was going to win the fight when suddenly, out of the blue a bullet hit him, Ridding went down in a flash. He watched as the enemy came of their hiding place and advanced toward him, Ridding reached into his pant pocket and tired to get the suicide pill out, but his fingers couldn't grasp the box. When the soldiers reached him Ridding looked up at them and said "Kill me now jew-lover, let me die with honor."

"Shut up." Ranger One replied without a trace of emotion, ice dripping from his words. He backhanded Ridding into unconsciousness, trying to ignore the bullet wound in his shoulder...the NSG commander had been a better shot then even he had known.

"Sir...Two's had it, we think. Headshot. Six needs meds real badly if he's gonna live. Gimme a few minutes with this bastard..I have some blood to pay back." another Ranger said, drawing a wicked knife.

Ranger One shook his head. "Negative. Our orders are to take him alive and intact. Search and disarm him thoroughly, then tie his ass up." he groaned, holding his shoulder. "And someone get me dressings before I bleed to death."

"One to Mother. We have secured the package, and require immediate medevac and extraction."

"Mother, One.." a voice with a thick German accent responded over the radio. Shalrirorchia was a mix of former European settlers mixed with native Shalrirorchians. "Confirm, have you sustained casualties?"

"Roger that, Mother. One for a Zip-lock bag, and several more wounded, including myself." One radioed.

"Sheiss..." the voice on the other end of the squawk-box hissed. "Very well. Medevac is en route, ETA 15. Status of the NSG detachment?"

"Dead." replied One tonelessly. "Or running for their lives through the dark of this jungle-hell. Sir...we have discovered...hell, sir. You need to get an investigative team with escorts in to secure this camp. We have war crimes evidence here...to put it mildly, sir."

SHALRIRORCHIAN CENTRAL COMMAND

The facility that served as Shalrirorchia's top military command center was considered by most to be beyond direct assault. Located perhaps 20 minutes out of the monument-studded capital city of Tarsanas was Snowpeak Mountain, an imposing yet beautiful barrier that sat on the southern edge of a great mountain range that spanned much of central Shalrirorchia.

Central Command was an extensive, multi-level facility buried deep under the granite of Snowpeak. Driving up to the entrance, one would be confronted by large chain-link fences and a massive sign that read:

The tunnel into the mountainside followed several twists and bends before it arrived at the Outer Door. This massive blast door was many inches thick and crafted of solid steel, and was large enough to accomodate the passing of even Crusader battle tanks. In times of crisis, this door and the two others like it further down the utility tunnel could be sealed, rendering the facility impervious to almost any conceivable attack.

The Command Center and the offices of the Central Command staff were located below this tunnel, which was called the Maintenance Level. Equipment scrubbed the air of all potential contaminants, and the facility had its' own food, power, and water supplies independent of the outside world. Even if an ICBM landed on Snowpeak, Central Command would continue to direct the defense of Shalrirorchia...assuming there was a Shalrirorchia left to defend.

Beregovoy sat in the situation room of the air-conditioned facility, his eyes riveted to the cable television screen. A Tagi camp of sorts had been overrun by the Army and Rangers early this morning. What they'd found was enough to shock even hardened generals in the room. And these were the censored, media pictures.

"I don't believe we even have words in English or native Shalrirorchian to describe how these people died." Beregovoy said quietly to his staff. Their faces were as white as sheets, as white as his own. The Defense Minister and Central Command officer could barely keep the bile in his stomach. How did supposedly civilized people DO these types of things?

"Sir, the President is on the line. The pictures are causing an internation furor. Some nations are accusing us of lying." an aide said.

"Tarumigan Gistarai's Shalrirorchia does not lie." replied Beregovoy unsteadily. "Actually, it's a minor miracle that he has not been unseated by his political rivals yet. But...God help us....I wish we were lying just this one time. Transfer the call."

OOC: Tagio, would this NSG commander know anything about this plan that your guys enacted after the nuke strike that I would like to say I had no prior knowledge of, ICly or OOCly? :P

OOC: Commander Ridding is a very high ranking commander in the NSG and is a favorite of Chief During and his son, Rudolph, who is second in command. So yeah he would have knowledge of what a Code: Briskeller is. A Code: Briskeller is a last ditch effort to repel an invasion, think Japan in WWII and mix it with.... nah I don't think I should say anymore. Well I am tired so I will be going off of here for tonight, see y'all tomarrow.

Hans Grubbel watched as regular army troops, NSG troopers, and armored vehicles spread out over the entire of Tagistead, garrsioning the buildings, setting up road blocks, and preparing for an attack. As Grubbel continued to watch the proceedings via the view screens that where mounted on walls throughout the darkend room a young man stepped up behind him and spoke "You wanted to speak to me sir?" "Yes I did my young friend" replied Grubbel who turned around from the screens to face the man and said " Have you prepared everything for Briskeller, Mr. Heilyen?" Franz Heilyen nodded and said "ja I have mein Fuehur" Grubbel nodded and smiled and said "and what of the secret weapon Mr. Heilyen?" Heilyen smiled at the thought of the secret weapon and said "It is fully operational mein Fuehur" "good" said Grubbel who then turned around to look at the screens. "Continue with the preperations Mr. Heilyen" he said as he looked at the screens showing the outer sections of Tagistead. As Heilyen turned to go he heard Gruubel speak up "Mr. Heilyen I want you to tell the commanders of the armor divisons to move up their tanks and troop crawlers to the belt between the outer and middle sections" "At once sir" replied Heilyen who then saluted Grubbel and hurried out to carry out orders.

"Never again" we had told ourselves, "Never again" our ancestors had promised to their children. But it had happened anyway, we should have reconized the signs in Jan Werkava's Hitler-like rise to power, should seen that Hans Grubbel was racist like his ancestors, but we haven't and payed for it with the lives of thousands. But even here in the mist of the opression there is still hope for us, Grubbel has manged to alienate one of his most experienced generals, Rankin, who now leads our resistence to the evil Nazi reigime in Tagistead. We have fought long and hard against both the regulars and NSG, but we have scored a major blow against them by taking three cities along the northeast coast of the island and we are expanding our area of control, we eventually hope to link up with the Shalrirorchians. Thanks to Rankin's knowledge of the secret codes we have managed to find out what Grubbel is planning to do. Now more then ever we must find away to tell the Shalrirorchians that we are here, we must let them know what what awaits in Tagistead. General Rankin has announced recentely that he is going to personally lead some of us into the jungle towards the camp at Shardwitz (OOC: Shalrirorchia this is name of camp that you just discovered) to contact the Shalrirorchians that are near that area. I am going with them, I hope all goes well.

CAMP SHARDWITZ (EAGLE'S TALON)
SHALRIROCHIAN FORWARD COMMAND POST

As the lines advanced, Shardwitz became important not only for the evidence being documented there, but also for its' strategic location. The Shalrirorchian Engineers Corps worked day and night NONSTOP to prep airfields, barracks, and a prefab command center. When the Shalrirorchian flag was hoisted up the flagpole at the center, there was a tired but reassuring cheer from every soldier on the grounds. Shardwitz earned a new name...Eagle's Talon. It would not win any awards for architectural beauty, but it was nevertheless a symbol of the can-do attitude held by the people who'd made it. Maj. General Sharana was there, looking over the strategic reports.

The drive on Tagistead had been delayed AGAIN for a variety of reasons. Shalrirorchian reinforcements continued to deploy to Taigo, and the entire line had to reorganize for maximum efficiency. Sharana shook his head. Every day they delayed driving on Tagistead, in his opinion, was a day more for this murderous rampage to go on. Sharana believed that the Tagi forces were on the brink....

"Sir." an aide interrupted his train of thought.

"Yes, Arlington?" asked the general.

"Sir, one of our assault helicopters out on routine patrol has spotted a Taigo staff car running down Path 2 at about 30 miles per hour."

"A -staff car-?" Sharana asked in confusion. He could understand a tank, several of them even more so, but a CAR?

"Yes, sir. They believe it belongs to a general, from the markings. They can see several passengers. The helo's asking for orders, sir." the aide said quietly. "I imagine the car saw the helicopter, judging by how slow they are driving."

"Yes..." said Maj. General Sharana. "Have the helicopter land and block the road. Make sure they present the side which has the Shalrirorchian military-hawk insignia on it so that these people, whoever they are, know it's a Shalrirorchian attack helicopter."

"And then sir?"

"And then, ask them if they would like to come here with an escort of Marines and talk."

The attack helicopter veered sharply to the right and set down caddy-corner across the road, the rotorblades whipping the nearby trees into a frenzy. "Keep the rotors going!" shouted the soldier in command. "If this is some type of trick, I want to be airborne YESTERDAY! You got that?"

"Yessir!" replied the copilot.

He turned to the gunner, his -other- insurance policy in case this was a trap. As he opened the helicopter door, he was not only climbing out of his aircraft but ALSO revealing the 9mm chaingun the gunner had bolted to the floor. If this was a trap, that chaingun would turn the approaching car into swiss cheese with admirable haste.

Just to be on the safe side, the pilot drew his sidearm, a rugged pistol, and clicked the safety off. He did not raise it, however. Wait.

The staff car came motoring around the bend, its' engine puttering cheerfully. Upon seeing the Shalrirochian helicopter, however, it gradually rolled to a stop. The pilot raised his pistol and hoped that whoever was behind the wheel, they'd forgive having so many guns pointed at them. They had to play it safe, after all.

"I am Captain Harold Berg! Please, step slowly out of the car....who are you guys, anyway?"

OOC: sorry for not replying quicker, I went to bed around 10:30 yesterday.




IC: "I am General Rankin, former Minister of the Armed Forces for the Republic of Tagio" said a tall, rugged man with a full beard and deep voice. "However I was mistreated by the madman that now runs the government" "I am now the leader of the Jewish Underground movment here in Tagio, our bases are on the northeast of the island." Then a look of distress passed over the generals face, as though he had thought of something horrible. "You must take me to your commanding general at once. Grubbel is going to do something horrible to your forces once they reach Tagistead. I must speak to your commanding general, NOW I can not stress not enougnth."

FORWARD COMMAND BASE, EAGLE'S TALON

"General, they are on their way back here in the helicopter. One of the crew is driving this Rankin character's vehicle here to the base for him. He insisted on coming as quickly as possible." a soldier announced. "He'll explain who all these people are when they get here."

"Thank you, Corporal." General Sharana replied, dismissing him. Sharana had, by this point, put on a dress uniform composed of dark navy green. He finished putting his cap on, and buckled an old leather holster with his sidearm inside, then put the flap over it. His timing was excellent. When the helicopter carrying the Defense Minister and rebels touched down on the pad twenty minutes later, he was waiting in a jeep. Off to the side, Ranger One sat, his arm in a sling but an M-16 cropped in his good hand. Sharana got out as the passengers emerged.

"I am Major General Sharana, commander of this facility. Welcome."

Rankin smiled and extended his hand as he appoarched Sharna and said "I can not thank you engougth for admiting me here. I am here to warn you that Grubbel is planning to unlease a Code: Briskeller once your troops enter Tagistead. Code: Briskeller is a last ditch defense that has not failed in the past. Grubbel however has planned to make use of chemical and biological weapons in this one, he is truly a madman General Sharna, you would doing Tagio a favour by killing him. I will tell you all you need to know about Code: Briskeller soon, but some of my men were injured by NSG troopers on our way here."

OOC: Shalrirorchia I am going to take it as that you allowed the injured to be treated and explain what Briskeller is


IC: Rankin watched as some soldiers left the room to escort the injured to a medic. "Thank you for your kindness General" said Rankin. Then he looked for a chair and sat down speaking after looking at some papers he took out of his pocket, then he spoke "General I will know tell you all I know about what Grubbel is planning for Briskeller. Grubbels plan is to first send a group of suicide Troop Crawlers into the mist of your mist of your tanks, they will be heavily armoured and packed with exsposlves to the brim. Once the last crawler explodes an artillery barrage will start from the regular crawlers, they should be in the ring between the outer and middle sections of Tagistead protected by what few tanks we have. If you send your infantry up after this Grubbel will use a cannon from the city center to fire rounds containing chemical and biological shells, I don't know what Grubbel stuffed in those shells but I know it will be bad. If your troops advance into the city Grubbel has wired some of the buildings in differnet parts of the city to explode. If Grubbel has not wired the controls into his bunker underneath the Capital Building look for a NSG commander with yellow stripes on his wrisk or collar. The whole idea is to inflict so many casulities that you will be forced to pull back" Rankin then stood up and said "If you have anymore questions just ask me, I don't plan on leaving just yet."

IC- ::a news broadcast:: Today in the Steel Legions the current Lord Inquisitor, Constantine Hammerfaust, with the consent of Lord General Dresk, gave orders to capture and round up every muslim in the Steel Legions territories. Roughly about 35,000 were rounded up, deemed heretics and were all sentenced to execution by public burning. About 70 muslims were burned today and many more will continue. The Lord General and the Lord Inquisitor gave out a warning to anyone who thinks they are going to retaliate for the killing of terrorists, "We do not feat retribution from other countries, our borders are sealed our airspace restriced. We have orbital gun platforms able to target almost any place on earth, we have deadly viral bombs that I can have launched at any nation. Our infantry and armor divsions are unmatched. the unbeatable numbers of our Imperial Guardsmen, the raw power and might of the Adeptes Astartes. The burnings you see in the Steel Legions and the Imperium of Man are but a small glimpse of what is to come upon the rest of the muslim world." Lord Dresk issued that statement earlier this afternoon. Lord Hammerfaust could not be reached for statement, apparently he was laughing at the burnings to hard to speak clearly. I don't think this is modern/future tech, just convert them to modern tech, guardsmen have flashlights now, spacemarines have nano-carbon vests(that stuff is awesome, it even exists too!), and just stuff like that.
