the ACELA is electric. and by the way, do any of you know if Amtrak worked out all of the problems with it?

Supposibly, but they make more money renting track usage from Union Pacific and BNSF running the Sunset Limited and Southwest Chief then they do in the Northwest Corridor. The Corridor is loosing them money and putting Amtrak in more debt.

I heard the bugs are out of it. The problems are mainly due to a lack of much budget for AMTRAK. No one really rides their trains and their gov funding is being slashed when they need more security money.

I did ride it once from Portage, IN to Ann Arbor, MI.

I honestly believe the Acela should run the longer routes as that is where they need more speed.

So this is what Bobby Jindal does in his spare time!
I'm impressed.

I will certainly consider letting some of my bigger neighbor allies know of your fine offerings.

We are rather small at this point to consider anything but streetcars and trolleys. Whenever you can post those we would be most interested (particularly the one's running in your capital New Orleans on Canal Street)

Bobby -- Are you still making a run of Congress?
