After Resolution 7112 barely passed today in Congress vote for a superior ground force, particularly the development of several new pieces of equipment such as the Paladin Mobile Field Artillery or recent updates in support vehicles that the Vedran Naval Army require desperately. This budget also increases the military budget by six hundred billion a year to pay for increased training, more and better equipment, as well as a generally large ground forces.

In efforts to keep the peace in its ally's country, the first four divisions to come out of this new military buildup will go directly to Allanea and Axackal to support our allies in need of defence. Other bases will also be established in Allanea in order to have closer contact to the Accord Allies and be prepared to rapidly defend nations in the region. These divisions will be located in southwest Allanea in order to cut down on well appreciated Ilek-Vaad overseeing of shipping.

Along with a increased army, the Vedran Navy will be receiving an additional fleet with the new BBGN-72 Class Battleship, the over nine-hundred meter long super-battleship serving as fleet flagship. The naval groups, approximately one hundred and fifty surface combatants along with twenty submarines, will patrol the coast and be a permanent overseas defence force for the rapid response to Allanea and regionmates.

More information will come as it is released by the Department of Defence.

Just so you know, Hattian spy satellites have been watching Allanea since this whole thing began...

Allanean efforts to purge smuggling? Excuse us while we laugh, but Allanea started the last war by smuggling weapons into Axackal.

You will have to excuse my allies... we have had bad experience dealing with Allanea previously, though their allies often prove to be easier to work with.

It's just that previously they have incisted on running "excerises" in preparation for wars again my allies in UnAPS, on the whole we find it hard to trust a nation which is so willing to create radio stations to spread propergander into our nations...

As such we have a shakey relationship with them. My allies will want to watch every move made to assure that they do not start another pointless war.

My allies are also trying to make sure that smuggling does not affect their nations, so I ask that you understand our concern.

Iuthia, I respect your mature attitude coming into this news conference. Actually, it is to my understanding that the smuggling case in southwest Allanea is so bad that Ilek-Vaad deployed his navy in order to deal with it. I've decided to go ahead and establish a new fleet that will ultimately control border actions and assume coast guard duties in order to control these incidents.

Once the forces are completed (with most of the ships already planned and laid down around eighteen months ago and the tanks having already been planned), forces will trinkle into Allanea and report all over the country in small, sectional bases in order to have rapid response time to smuggling efforts across the country. However, the new 88th Infantry Division will be based in the Allanea capitol. As of now I can't think of a real reason for this, other than I just don't care.

And no, Hattia, not everything I am building is going to Allanea. The Artillery will be going to the war with Camewot currently starting (if people start freakin' posting something other than bitching).

In addition to the first two army corps, numbers three, four, five, six, and seven were created in an effort to boost Ponte Vedran land defence. This has been the shortest IC post that I've ever made. gonf---yerselves.
