A news report flashed in the middle of the morning televison. Homes, workplaces and anywhere televsion was too be seen, as the Imperial Republic Citizenry saw the TNN News Logo:

War with Dyelli Beybi! Tersanctus marches too War!

The logo continued for a few seconds, followed by the image of a young newsman, squinting in the sun, his brown hair flapping around in the wind. Behind him can be seen small patrol vessels running patterns in the ocean.

"And Good Morning, this is Mark Nesbith with TNN National News. As of six a.m. this morning, Tersanctus announced that it was officially in a state of war, with the United Socialist Republics of Dyelli Beybi. This is the apparent reason behind the recent Naval Fleet reactivation, and massive reserve recall. All this coming within six months since Tersanctus has left it Isolation policy, leaving some too question, whether it was a good Idea or not. A representative for the Executors Administration released this information, during a press conference today."

The screen switches too a press conference room, with an Elder Gentleman dressed in a crisp blue suit. Lights flash, as the man looks down at his prepared speech.

"Good Morning, Ladies and Gentleman. As of oh-six-hundred hours, Tersanctus has officially entered into a state of war with Dyelli Beybi. There is currently a First Strike Task Force, already in theatre. We realize that this move comes at bad time, in our nation’s history, nor do we wish too put on the image of an aggressor. But as Edgar Burke once aptly put: "Evil triumphs, when the will of good men, fails."

We are asking for the International Communities moral support in this matter, as the reasons for this war, becomes clear.

Dyelli Beybi, as the world knows is responsible for the Nuclear Holocaust in Drakonia (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=93916&highlight=), has recently made a public statement, openly calling Tersanctus a part of what is termed by the Dyelli Beybi, an "Axis of Evil". (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=148808&highlight=)

They furthermore have openly stated, that contary too the Nekoa Bay Peace Accords. (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=94668&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=360) That they will seek, what is in this Administrations Opinion, aggressive re-armament."

He pauses for a minute looking grimly down as he turns the page of his speech.

"It is true that Tersanctus is bound too the accord, and I quote.

"A full Non-Aggression Pact between the sovereign Federated Klatchian Coast and the United Emirates, which will protect each entity from interference and invasion from the other. Either side (The UE and the FKC) will inform the other if and when they believe a violation of the treaty has occurred and agree to resolve the dispute quickly and to the satisfaction of both sides"

“However, despite the open admission of the Dyelli Beybians, no response has been heard from any other governing body in the FKC. This can lead us only too believe that this move has been approved of by the FKC parliament. Furthermore we have intelligence reports that the Militaries of several FKC bodies have begun mobilization.
This also leads us too the conclusion, that they had advance knowledge, and are prepared too defend the Dyelli Beybi administrations actions.”

“Though this decision was a difficult one too reach, we cannot stand idly by, while this Nation continues too threaten National Security, and become tied up in pointless negotiations, that will only allow the Dyelli Beybian Government more time to produce their WMD’s, and threaten not only Tersanctus, but several of our closest friends, and allied nations.”

“However, as a show of our good faith, and too prove our desire for peace above all else. We are sending a Diplomat, and Public Message to the Glorious Kingdom of Vrak, to address this issue immediately. For this, First Strike has been postponed 24 hours. If no response is met, or an accord cannot be reached. The war shall commence as planned.”

The screen switches too the Reporter once more.

“There you have it, folks. The ultimatum has been given, and the gauntlet tossed. We will give you more updates, as they come.”

In the Executors Mansion

“Well, Executor, do you think they will respond?”

“Vrak and Tersanctus, has always seemed to have a mutual, grudging respect. Dyelli Beybi is his ally, but I think the Walri understand both sides in the matter. We shall see.”

And with that a Plane was set on standby too send the Ambassador to Vrak, pending a message being sent.

Esteemed Heads of the Vrakian Government,

We wish too avert war. Sending Diplomat to your country with extreme urgency. Please respond with haste.

In the heated debate, it was wondered whether or not it was safe for the Executor to go. Chris was only eighteen, son of Edmund. But he was already proved to be a capable leader.

And he insisted on going, with the Instructions that, should he in any way be assassinated, or taken hostage, the War should go on not only as planned, but too unleash the gates of hell, any and all allies were too be contacted, and if possible, bring the Southern FKC Coast too its knees.

But at the same time Chris didnt seem too think that would happen. Saying remarks like, the Walruses were the most reasonable PEopel in the FKC in the first place.

The jet touched down three hours later, flying at Mach Three, and landed at (Your airports name here).

In a bunker in Cyro, the leaders of Dyelli Beybi's military were being briefed by Generalfeldmarshall Lunchtime O'Booze, there was a great variety in the uniforms. The Generals gathered coming from all three Republics in the League as the fledgeling State was begining to call itself.

"We've known this was coming, since the breakdown at Nekoa Bay and gladly that means we've had time to prepare." O'Booze coughed, "I've prepared a list of possible landing zones in order of priority...I'll start with the least likely.

"A port assault, this could be launched at Squeegleton, Fiord Harbour, Lobsters, Christchurch, Jesuitlem, Cyro or Saint Guineford's. It would be doomed to fail. All these cities are heavily defended and most have fairly major naval contingencies. It would be next to impossible to force a beachhead wide enough to protect the landing zone from artillery fire. I think we can rule that one out, I think the world has learned from WWII that port assaults are not a good idea.

"The second possible scenario, is a possibility of disembarking troops on the edge of the country, near where the minefield breaks off. So that would be East out by Saint Guinefords or near to Christchurch. This likewise we feel would be a foolish method of attack. To get to the area by Saint Guineford's one would need to brave the Coastal batteries and fortresses in that area...it's possibly the most heavily fortified section of border...excepting the Artois line of course...what's more they'd need to sail through Jiggardian waters in order to avoid the mines. Christchurch is possible, although unlikely, there are far too many troops in that particular city and it's lack of port facilities would make it a less than ideal first target.

"The third possibility is an attempt to land on the shore somewhere behind the minefield, between the major cities of the Djel Valley. This would lead to supply problems until they took a major town.

"We feel the three most likely scenarios for invasion are a landing near Saint Guineford's bay. This area is heavily defended and attacker losses would be severe, not to mention the minefield, but Saint Guieford's would provide an ideal port to ressuply through...if they could clear the navy out first.

"Slightly more likely is a landing in the Djel River Delta near Cyro. It would be incredibly bloody. Large numbers of troops from all three forces are stationed with us here, but compared to Saint Guineford's the coastal fortifications are pathetic. The major problem would be the somewhat dubious footing in the delta." O'Booze grinned, "Quicksand and crocodiles Gentlemen...not to mention if they got bogged down out there they'd probably all end up with Djelli fever with all the mosqitoes."

"The most probable route though is on our Western border. The East Benjians just noted the fault and have begun to dig in. The Southern Coast of Murphy island. Good sandy beaches, a little longer than ideal, but still stormable. Not as many troops as in the rest of the country, no rail network to get fresh troops rapidly to the front...and it's only a day's march to Fiord Harbour...and as we know that has ports as large as Saint Guineford's. I doubt they'd be able to dig the troops out of Squeegleton. That place is inpregnable, but if they controlled the waters round there they could starve the garrison into submission. While it would not achieve as much as the other points, it would mean they would be in the position to strike at the mainland near Christchurch while having a nearby supply depot, without the associated problems of moving supplies across the Ocean."

They were met by a full honour guard of the King's Own. The aircraft itself was towed to a certain part of the airport where heavy machine gun emplacements and anti-air rockets were set to guard.

The heavily guarded delegation were taken to a vast monument on the city outskirts resembling a huge spaceship mounted on concrete pillars and, weirdly enough, had all manner of weapons sprouting from the base and thrusting into the wrecked ship. That is, it would appear that huge axes, swords, and war clubs were used to devastate the 500 meter long frigate rather than volleys from Vrakian and allied battleships.

"The weapons are meant to symbolize the determination and vigor of the Klatchian spirit," explained the protocol officer, "and to show the folly of those who would attack the FKC. I believe our King should be along shortly, along with someone else. You are fortunate, Executor. The King rarely grants audiences to outsiders."

A chuckle.

"We have a saying in our land, Executor. To rouse the King is to invite either great generosity or great wrath. I would advise you to choose your words carefully."

While one fleet was off heading for exercises with fellow Order members, the two other fleets were being scrambled in their home ports. Supplies and personnel were being loaded onto their respective ships with practiced efficiency. Meanwhile, railcars nationwide were busy moving heavy equipment and troops to the southern borders. Also, final checks were being made on nuclear and titan gun sites.

The Executor, his guard, the King's Own, and the protocol officer waited for a while at the monument. The area was cordoned off from the public due to the arrival of the Executor.

The protocol officer then approached the Executor and said,

"I've just learned that there has been a change of plans. If you would follow me?"

He gestured back to the waiting vehicles and soon they made their way back to the the airport. However, they did not board the Executor's craft nor any luxurious jet that normally would be used. Rather, they all embarked onto a military troop transport plane.

"I apologize for the accomodations, Executor. It appears that we will hold the meeting in the Nef."

Judging by the Executor's puzzlement, the officer added,

"the Nef is a large desert region in Vrak inhabited by various desert tribes. As well, there are some odd wildlife in that region. Don't know if we would see a desert lion though. They usually inhabit Dyelli Beybi."

The huge plane taxied down the runway and soon was airborne. It banked to the left, and after completing its turn, began to head south.

"So what did you think of the monument? Few outsiders have seen it because, well, the time and money spent on its construction and the short time period after finishing the war with Dozle."

A Division of the East Benjian Army's Armoured Corp (the 81st) had moved onto the windswept beaches of Murphy island, where army intelligence believed the first assault would come. The engineers were bulked out by the engineers for the 18th Infantry Division who were stationed in the twin cities on North of the 24,090 square kilometre island, and were working hard to dig bunkers, while the infantry dug trenches and the crews of the armoured vehicles dug the vehicles in. All knew that the 82nd Armour was on it's way, already disembarking in Fiord Harbour, while the 6th Wirbelsturm and 17th Fliegenschnäpper Batallions would be along to beef out the AA. There was also rumour of an SS Armoured Batallion being posted to the island.

High Command was nearly certain the enemy would strike here rather than against the more heavily fortified mainland coast, as such they were going to do their best to make the Island as costly a place to assault as the mainland.

The KMAV clicked away, observing the movements of the DB military, and began transmitting all recieved data back to Imitoran command units. Another satalite, this a PDI-885, 'followed' the Vrakian transport on its Pulse Doppler Image system. The wake created in the air by the large transport an easy spot, and it kept in a geosync orbit, in essence, tracing Chris.

OOC: If you mean space wise, its a small enough satalite, so it just parks itself over a nice little spot, and follows away. If you mean atmospheric, it simply follows the wake from Chris's plane, then uses a very, very, very, (you get the point) powerful IR Cammera, follows Chris into the Vrakina transport, and then locks onto the transport's wake, and follows it. I aint gonna leave my allies alone like this.

The somewhat more belligerent Government of the state of Dyelli Beybi was also watching the satelite. On the ground, at the space research centre in Quisa someone was fiddling with Dyelli Beybi's own satelites...
"If it looks like it's spying on us, kill it." a high ranking General ordered in a short visit to the compound, "The last thing we need now is someone watching us from the sky. Oh yes, and the same goes if it looks like it's watching any of Fasta Benj."

The satalite continued to observe and transmit information, all coded as a TV signal. The information being sent back was all set up to look like a TV satalite's response to a querry from a earth based satalite dish. However, the information collected by its sensors would be more than helpful should the invasion take place.

Somewhere in Vrak...

Translated from Vrakian.

-There is a bothersome satellite up there.
-So? Isn't the JDF tracking it?
-Well, yes. But shouldn't we take it out?
-You realize how difficult that it, don't you? Besides, we should be activating our satellites to peek over Tersanctus. And better put those pakrahs Drakonian Imperium on the list as well. We have to step up our recon efforts.
-Indeed.

====

Far overhead, commands were transmitted from earth stations to their respective satellites. While changing flight paths would be disasterous for a satellite, it was felt that sooner or later either Vrakian or other friendly sats would sweep over Tersanctus and the Drakonian Imperium. Besides, satellites weren't the only method of gathering intelligence.

Vrakian Airforce SP-1288 you have been cleared for landing at Dry Duck, runway U-1.
[/code:1:c320f8474d]

Runway U-1, JDF Central Bomber Command, Base Dry Duck

The runway was outside of the double triangle of runways and facilities that made up the bomber strike base. It was a long strip of aged concrete cutting through the dunes like a knife. The runway was clear and maintained, but the sand was creeping back over the edges, attempting to regain the space for the ancient Nef. The winds of the Nef were now blowing sand across the landscape. Not hard, but unpleasant none the less.

The place was isolated, only three blue and silver painted rovers stood at a flat spot to one side. Guarded by a yellow and rust covered bulldozer and a fast response tank. On the other side stood a weathered concrete hanger. Small windows, most broken and covered by various sheets of rusting scrap metal pierced the low bow of poured stone.

Inside wasn't much grander. The high roof seemed dark and empty. The floor was filled with scraps of old wood, packing crates, outdated machinery, a pile of old sinks, lights, bathroom fixtures, galvanized piping. At the center was an old fire truck, clean and maintained.
In one cool corner were three figures. A Durakian sat on a half-disassembled washer, reading some book in his native tongue. A black robed Var poked through some of the bins of various parts. Musing over what odd little devices of human invention. A red headed woman sat on a box, her green eyes intent on the laptop before her. A patch of light filtered in through a bank of unbroken windows above her perch. As the distant sound of the engines could be heard she stopped and smiled.

A radio crackled to life and she picked it up…

The military transport approached the desolate runway and landed. As the plane finally stopped near the hanger, the protocol officer motioned to two of the King's Own who exited first. After a minute, a shout was given and the protocol officer indicated to the Executor,

"Please follow me."

====

Behind the first plane came a much sleeker, larger, and faster transport plane. Painted in pure blood red and decorated with fancy High Vrakian script, it held none other than King Vrak the First himself.

It easily caught up to the first Vrakian transport and nearly gave the pilot a heart attack until he was told who it was.

The hypersonic transport whined to a stop a fair distance away from the first plane and the rear cargo door yawned open. Out rumbled a T-90 tank, two large Ural troop trucks, and an odd, red, tracked vehicle which seemed larger than the tank - although it lacked a turrent but sprouted a heap of antennaes.

It was, of course, the personal conveyance of the King.

On Murphy Island, troos were at the stage of hammering slanted metal bars into the sands of the good landing beaches, the idea being to provide a danger to landing craft at high tide, thereby forcing craft to land at low tide when troops would have further to advance under fire. Further up the beach they were laying tank obstacles, while further up still the engineers were building an extended network of concrete bunkers to house the troops in the event of air attack or naval bombardment.

The process had long since been completed on the mainland, now military analysts drove up and down the beaches searching for weaknesses and giving advice on troop placements.

The Luftwaffe were also making their prescence felt on Murphy Island, with several squadrons of Mirage 2000C stationed at Squeegleton, along with the planes permanently assigned to the Armoured Divisions.

The Mirrages would prove little thread to the F-82C Angels, and E/A-48 Funnels would easily take out ground defenses. Microwave satalites could handle the mines, and larger targets that would proove little tactical threat, but a large over all threat.

"Since my arrival, it has seemed that every subject I have spoken with has tried too impress me with threats of meeting with Vraks King. Similarly, meeting with the Lord of Tersanctus, is also a sign of either great fortune, or great wrath." he spoke matter of factly.

"Though, you do not speak with a fool. Nor do I beleive that I speak with one. If your advice is wise, I shall heed it, While I beleive that this war, can be averted, and, please beleive me, in my heart of hearts, you and the peoples of Vrak beleive it can be too. I am left too wonder why you would allow one of your....'states' to constantly berate, and call out the hounds of war, if that were contrary to your true desire, and tolerate it." he put as diplomatically as he could.

OOC: Let's try this again.

Do to Wraths make a right? popped into her head for a second.
As they both sat down in the Rover's interior she nodded her head in agreement. "I think I have something to answer for in your charges," She began.

"Everyone makes decisions for their own benifit, even the Saint. As such you have me to blame for tolerating the behavior of Mr. Himmler. But I have not sat idly by while he has taunted others. You see, the central goverment has limited powers in dealing with each state."

She looks out the window as the JDF base began to pass by, "If I called upon Mr. Himmler to stop his and his cronies in Cyro I'd likely push them out of the Federation. Allowing them to attack any of the other member states. A messy quasi-civil war."

She turns back towards him, her voice somewhat colder. "For that is what Himmler desires War, Dyellbian and Klatchian blood to help him become even more entrenched. He wants the Presidency, and as a war hero he might be able to get it..."

She settles back down into her seat. "As for my advice. As your pride and honor has been bismerched so have the Vrakians. Once they opened their arms to the wide world, attempted to bring peace. All they received from Sithril was the cold slap of the back of her hand. Then the demon child Dozle invaded us, murdered 250 million Klatchians in his quest for World domination, and the world ignored us. Allowed millions of the Walrus Kings subjects to die. The King may want peace, but he will die first before suffering anymore humiliation at the hands of outsiders. Say nothing that you would not say to yourself Executor, and perhaps we can bring peace."

The rover stopped next to an ancient structure. It looked like a low of brick and stone. This was one of the last strongholds of the Polaris (sentient Polar Bears) long destroyed by the Vrakians. Deep inside, the plunge pool had been rebuilt with a large rock in the center. A causeway ran back to the two story arcade that made up the walls around the pool. The whole facility was accessed by several large elevators from the surface.

((Vrak, hope this is okay...))

OOC: Sounds good Alcona. I’ll have the king arrive via a backway, since I think you want him there first.

IC:

A large stone door slid open near the pool. Either it was built that way long ago or else it was made as a modern convenience, but it didn't matter. Time was best not spend to idly speculate on ancient Klatchian architecture.

Two King’s Own guards stepped out. They were not in Royal Dress as they would usually be when receiving a head of state. Rather, they were in typical desert combat fatigues with their distinctive grey berets armed with a visible machine gun. The seal of the Vrakian King, of elaborate design, was embossed on the top left corner, above the heart of each special ops soldier. This particular batch of King’s Own had dark brown eyes and leathery skin, revealing that they most likely were natural Nef nomadic tribesman. And their reputation for cruelty and fighting prowess were legendary throughout the Klatch. After all, wasn’t it only 200 Nef soldiers that fought along the Dukratians in the Remmonland’s capital inflicting heavy losses? Were they not personally chosen by the King himself to enter the blood sport event held by Tremalkier (OOC: which sadly didn’t begin).

Finally, King Vrak the First waddled through. Despite his enormous size, he managed to convey a regality that transcended species. His large yellow eyes fixed firmly on the Executor for a moment before passing over the rest of the party. A slight nod to the Landgravine and the Var. He made his way close to the delegation, preferring not to swim over via the pool. Then he turned his gaze back to Chris, unblinking as he spoke in a deep rumbling voice.

“Welcome, Executor, to our lands. Now, what of this grievance you have against the Klatch?”

Chris held the Kings sight for a few seconds. Then he respectfully bowed, showing respect too one whom commanded it.

"I thank you for your welcome, King Vrak. I am honored at your request too meet with me." He spoke elegantly.

"My grievance, is Dyelli Beybi. My wrath, seeks the blood of Herr Himmler. Too long has Tersanctus stood Idly by, while his threats, and machinations wish too end the peoples of Drakonia, my sister land. We sat with you at the table of peace, many years ago. We above all Emirate nations, sought compromise, and avoided war. And yet, we were insulted still. We too let this slide, and let there be an uneasy peace. We were content too let injustice remain with the souls of 20 Million."

He looked stronger into the kings eyes, his tone still respectful, became more assertive.

"And yet, despite this show of mercy, we were berated STILL! Your vassal Dyelli Beybi, seeks war, has called us 'Evil', and yet you will find no nation upon this earth, save them, that would call us this. I, who bring war, I who would rain Death and Destruction upon your land, offer you this one chance for peace."

"I know the request sounds as though I offer to rip your heart from your chest, and leave the rest of you in peace, nonetheless,I would ask you too step aside in my assault upon Dyelli. For it is a cancer I seek too rip out. Leave your JDF around his borders, Upon the Honor of my blood, and my land, we shall intrude no farther into the Klatch, I seek only the blood and death, of those who seek ours. After this has been meted, all troops of Tersanctus will leave, and the Dyellians shall be yours too govern, as you see fit."

He stopped, allowing his words for full effect, knowing that his wish could not be fulfilled, but he must ask it the same.

"Or if you feel that honor and doctrine obligate you too defend, those whom I know you see folly in. So be it. I shall leave, and Innocent blood will be spilt, in the name of honor."

"That is my greivance, and those are my terms." Chris put forth unblinkingly.

(OOC) Here's a bit of info on the Dyelli Beybian political climate. Nekoa bay and the percieved reluctance to aid Klatch in the Dozle war have seriously dented Himmler and the NSWP's popularity (which was questionable outside of the Djel Valley in the first place). At the moment Himmler runs the country under a Coalition with the Benjian National Party and Labour Party.
It is doubtful whether Himmler will still even remain Chancellor of the Djel Valley were a vote to be held today. Polls in the area indicate it's vote has swung decidedly towards the Communists who also hold the majority in New Dyelli.
However, the recent beligerent speeches have been percieved as 'restoring National pride' and the NSWP has seen some rise in support. Basically the recent spate of belligerence is an attempt by Himmler to save his political career by convincing the people he isn't afraid of the pakrahs.

The King regarded the Executor and then said,

“Dyelli Beybi has always been making announcements that seem provocative. What is interesting is your reaction to it. You are not bound to the Nekoa Bay accords since not only did you leave the UE, of which we admire you for, but also the negotiations failed – which I hasten to add Drakonia left the accords unsigned. Our FKC representatives left the table of peace last. True, Dyelli Beybi left before, but had the accords been actually signed, then Vrak would support the accords to the full extent of our power. And Vrak currently holds the FKC presidency. But Drakonia wasted that opportunity. Therefore, Dyelli Beybi, like ourselves, is not bound to the accords. Now, you say that Dyelli Beybi called you ‘evil’. And this is why you march to war? To spill blood to say that you are not?”

The King shook his head.

“And you know perfectly well why Dyelli Beybi launched nuclear weapons at Drakonia. It is because Drakonia launched conventional ICBMs at Al Anbar, an ally of Dyelli Beybi. No one yet seems to understand this very simple point. If Drakonia did not launch ICBMs, conventional or otherwise, at Al Anbar yet Dyelli Beybi still did launch nuclear ICBMs at Drakonia, then Dyelli Beybi would not have to only worry about Drakonia, but Vrak as well. Can you understand the significance of that, Executor?

Another pause while the King popped a clam in his mouth. Then he continued, but his voice rumbled even deeper with an edge of menace to it.

“Had your father Edmund asked of this request to me, I may have considered it more seriously. But,” wagging his flipper at Chris, “I don’t know you. You are an impertinent child coming to my house, demanding peace on your terms or else. You broadcast half-truths so that everyone can see in an attempt to rally forth for your cause, but yet hope to negotiate secretly, trying to force our hand under threat of war. Do you really think I give one Kronor about public opinion? Do you really think that I would allow any power to march into the Klatch and exact vengeance on those it felt wronged? What say you if I decide to crush the blokk pakrah nation the Drakonian Imperium, hmmm? You would defend them, right or wrong. Well, this is what I say to you. You wish war? Vrak shall answer. We shall defend our lands and we shall do whatever it takes to do so.”

A final pause. Then the King cryptically said,

"Your threat of war has cast aside other options."

With that, the King turned. The King's Own formed a protective barrier between the Executor and their liege as the King exited from whence he came.

OOC: And none of you will know about this until Chris makes his way back to communicate with you. And there are no phone booths in the Nef.

The 2nd and 3rd projection fleets now linked up in the Artic Ocean and proceeded to enter the Sea of Dukratus. Meanwhile, heavy equipment and infantry were still pouring into the Vrakian corridor while long range recon aircraft were undergoing preparations to begin patrols of the entire South Klatchian Ocean.
Dyelli Beybi

Guard's at the now nearly abandoned Artois line, on the Dyelli Beybian border with Vrak, watched the build up curiously, but with little interest, although by one of the main fortresses by the road one man did trundle out to the Vrakians in a Kubbelwagon to tell the Vrakians they were welcome to proceed along the railway to the Coast and that the Government had set aside billets for the influx of Vrakian troops.

On the beaches things were returning to normal, troops were more or less simply on sentry duty now on the Sea wall. Crocodiles basked in the sun further down the beaches, while further up soldiers played cricket or fed unwanted rashions to the Vagabond gulls and small packs of golden dog-like animals that the Dyellians called Oxyaenas. These varied a little from place to place. In East Benji they were darker with black blotches, while on Murphy island where work still wasn't finished on the defences, they had a distinct black line down the spine and white belly.

On Muphy island the engineers were still building concrete walls and bunkers. It was remarkable what a few thousand men could do with the right machinery and equipment. A few bored soldiers had planted landmines on the beaches but had been discouraged by the Engineers who wanted the beaches clear of booby traps so that they could fiddle with the defences if they needed to. Mostly now they were just hanging around like their mainland colleagues and waiting to see if a war started.

Around the far side of the island at Fiord Harbour about 1/3 of the High Seas Fleet was at Anchor, the other groups at St Guineford's and Christchurch/Jesuitlem. The Navy were likewise fairly relaxed, a fair few had never been to Fasta Benj before and it seemed like a holiday, at least for now.

The only people who were not relaxed were the pilots of the Eurofighters, Mirages and MiGs that kept a constant patrol of the coastline. They were fairly convinced a war was coming, if it wasn't the Government wouldn't be wasting so much money keeping so many planes in the air, and they knew they would be the first ones into combat.

Chris smiled, and understood fully that his request would never have been given full consideration. In his mind he almost laughed. He understood the kings cryptic response as well.

Than as the king left, he shouted one final statement. "I make this not as a threat your majesty, but I thought you above all others would understand, War is not about who is right, it is about who is left."

With that he turned and exited the Kings Chambers with his Guards, and made way too the transports.

"This day will mark the the true time, when peace has failed between the FKC and those of the UE....even if I am not of that alliance anymore...They cannot back down anymore then we can. To war, Kungshao Hungers." Chris whispered too one of Guards upon there exiting.

The King, of course, after being safely behind the massive stone door rested on a large, flat rock. Certainly, the Landgravine would know where this place is and he waited for her.

He nearly laughed out loud at the childish outburst from Chris once he turned his back on him. Of course, war is about who is left. To think that child can lecture me on war after I saw first hand the last of the Great Blood Wars. There is a reason why the Orca Dominion and Polar Bear Kingdom no longer exist anymore.

All across Southern Klatch the Dyelli Beybians waited, as soon as something showed up on the radar, even if it was a scrambled target, there would be planes in the air ready to make sure the enemy didn't have an easy journey to the Coast, then they would encounter at least one segment of the High Seas Fleet before finally hitting the heavily fortified beaches.

All the movements had been tracked and noted by Imitoran Commanders, recieving data from the satalite hovering far overhead. They had seen enough to convince them, and despite hearing no word from Dantes, the move was ordered.

A phone rang in FS Fortier's office, and he picked it up, asking who it was.

"Sir, its Winslow. I was just wondering how you feel about the song 'We Kill the Old Way' by Lostprophets? Very nice, good message, dont you think?"

Robert thought for a moment, then asnwered in turn. "Yes. I especially like the way it flows into 'To Hell We Ride'." In other words, Robert had ordered weapons free on the DB situation.
_____

Over DB, several satalites began to move into place. 12 in all, they were the newer KMAV-0089s, the Microwave Weapon satalites. Each could fire a pinpoint beam of concentrated microwave radiation, or a wide power beam of radiation to knock out electronics and communications. With the ability to pop an enemy's head like a baloon, or take out all radar over a battle field, they were more than usefull.

Howver, now the operated off data loaded to them by the 'spy' satalite, and were targeting the minefield. The presence of increased magnetic fields, as well as the use of a very high powered IR camera allowed the mine field to be spotted easily enough to allow the Microwave sats to target specific mines.

Once in position, they 'opened fire', sending beams of highly concentrated energy into the mines, enough to overheat and cause the mine to explode within seconds. The hope was that with 17 of these doing this, that enough of a reaction would be caused to detonate a majority of the minefield.

Other KMAV-0089s were also moving into position, and a light 'probe force' was being assembled. The Imitoran Defense System also went online, creating a near shield around the nation, designed to repell any invasion.

In Cyro the airaid sirens sounded out a low drone, troops rushed about the city, but the sirens weren't for them, it was for an alert for the crews of the Missile silos (and Cyro only had one siren). In a bunker in the city, Generalfeldmarshall Lunchtime O'Booze was meeting with some subordinates, "So what's going on he demanded?"

"Someone is trying to blow up our mines with some kind of satelite energy weapon."

"How are they doing?"

"We have no idea, probably not very well, the CAPTOR mines are too far under the surface...I've spoken to the science boys, they reckon the refraction etc from the atmosphere and sea etc is really going to hamper their efforts, especially since they seem to be trying to overheat the mines, the sea acts like a giant heat sink, they reckon they'll be lucky if they blow any up. If we were using graze fuses, or something that didn't sit so far down they might be doing better." he shrugged, "Shoot them down, I said we should kill the foreign sattelite the moment it appeared over Klatch."

O'Booze nodded, "Kill them."

(OOC: Really, I'm surprised you can even see mines like that, you can't pick them up visually when you're on a ship, and they're too cold and too deep to show up on IR. The best way to pick them up is with a high powered sonar, then to just drive around them, they are fairly scattered.)
----------------------------------------------

A few minutes later the Dyelli Beybians were firing Arrow missiles haphazardly at every foreign sattelite on the radar. The first to go down was a news broadcast sattelite, after they were done Klatch would be somewhat lacking in foreign news, but that didn't matter, it had taken over 30 years to lay the minefield, and they would be damned if they let someone blow them up.

Meanwhile up in space, Dyelli Beybi's defensive sattelites, Sahifnik 2, Sahifnik 3 and Sahifnik 4 were activated. Sahifnik 1 had been destroyed in the war with Dozle. Basically the Sahifnik design was a huge ball with 25 tubes radiating out. Each tube held 4 magnetically fused modified naval mines and a section of propellant. Controlled from the ground, they would be tweaked until one tube faced a target, then fired, sending one 5 tonne exposive device whizzing toward's the target. One fired now, sending the sattelite racing backwards until the rear thrusters brought it back to stationary. The others bore in swiftly, as the first prepared to fire again.

Other Communication satelites were reprogrammed for a collision course with the enemy. The Dyelli Beybisans were throwing everything to stop the Sattelites.

-------------------------------

In the Ocean a few of the scattered mines released their torpedo which rolled off in a random direction until it ran out of fuel and dropped back to the bottom of the ocean.

Once the call came through, the entire Vrakian military went to level 1. The most southern horde group prepared to enter Dyelli Beybi, but that would take time, due to the sheer mobilization of forces and transporting them via railcars. Tanks, artillery pieces, anti-air systems and whatnot were all being lashed to railcars and frantically waved through the border.

However, the airforce could respond quicker...and it did. No less than 6 long-range A 50 Mainstay SDRLOs took to the air with full fighter escort to scour the South Klatchian ocea. One more left from Vrak Prime to cover the Arctic Ocean while yet one more took flight to patrol the Northern reaches. As well, a rapid response bomber squadron was undergoing final checks.

Any and all satellites in geo orbit were trained to actively search the ocean as well. Most likely, the treacherous Tersanctians had an assualt fleet ready to attack in case the negotiations failed. It is what Vrak would have done.

From their respective ports, no less than 12 submarines slipped under the waters while the 4th projection fleet was called up. The 1st projection fleet was informed and ordered to pull from the exercises in case things became dire.

The Landgravine had been in the shadows. "You know, you both have far too much pride your Majesty. And the worst think is that Klatchians may die because of some blokk pakrah. She hits a section of wall, it springs open to reveal a red phone. "This is Seal Girl, the shoe has dropped...repeat the shoe has dropped." She turned back to the King. "Now we need to discuss what to do about Mr. Himmler...."

The King bobbed his head. So tired. So very tired

"Indeed. That Himmler concerns me. But, you know how I loathe to interfere in the business of other nations in the wider world, so the FKC states I'm quite reluctant to intervene. I believe strongly in the independence of our states. But perhaps this Himmler has been trying to get a free ride, as it were, under the shield of the JDF. He needs to be dealt with, but not in the fashion that the Executor wants. Still, while some of the practices of our states may seem questionable to outsiders, I am most reluctantl to import questionable morals, especially the sickening do-gooder ones that Drakonia seems to hold. The Klatch is the Klatch.

Still, the Executor did not wish peace. I don't bargain well under threat of war. He could have approached the matter differently, but I think that he, like those pakrah Drakonians, just want to preserve their honour and spill blood. Funny how the call us the lunatics yet we don't go attacking people, even when we've had good reason to do so."

Suddenly, he threw his chalice into the nearby wall with great force. Although it was a heavy item, it still bent under the impact and rolled uselessly on the floor.

"Tersanctus will fail. Our might will see to that. But, to make sure that this does not get to far out of hand, I will transmit a message to ensure that our side remains civilized. But, Landgravine, if Tersanctus and his allies launch ICBMs at us, then all bets are off."

The King motioned to the protocol officer and dictated a message in High Vrakian, of which the Landgravine and others could easily understand. It's just that the King felt more comfortable in his mother tongue.

[code:1:5b90f56679]
-The FKC is now in a war situation, as you well know from the earlier message transmitted from the Landgravine. However, I implore you, FKC states, not to use any kind of ICMBs, armed either with WMD payloads or conventional warheads. Let the invaders make the first mistake in this regard. However, if the invaders actually use ICBMs on our lands, then respond fully in force by whatever means you deem necessary. Vrakian doctrine treats all ICBM launches as carrying nuclear warheads, unless informed otherwise that it is a test. Defend the Klatch to the best of your abilities. Kill the invaders. Let them feel the full fury of the sons of the Klatch.
[/code:1:5b90f56679]

The message was then promptly relayed to all FKC state military high commands via ultrasecure lines and encryption.

Determined not to be outdone, Dyelli Beybian Eurofighter Typhoons joined the escort for the Vrakian bombers, while five A-50s AWE&C craft were doing runs along the Coast and out across Territorial waters, each of these was also escorted by a full Squadron of Eurofighters.

At the Artois line, troops had been order across the border to help the Vrakians load up onto railcars, although most were hanging around and trying to swap cigarettes with their Vrakian counterparts, unwilling to touch the equipment in case they broke anything.

She looks at the King for a moment, "As for the younger Dantes, he has the blood lust of youth. No, he didn't listen to me...he threatened when he should have asked for your advice. There were other paths to repair his honor. But he seeks, as Himmler does, the warm glow of victory to hand him the keys to even greater power."

The King considered the words of the Langgravine. Few could speak so candidly to his face since he was a stickler for formal address. Yet...

"Very well, Landgravine. Search deeper into Himmler. You shall have Vrakian Intelligence at your disposal."

He handed her a unique signet ring and chuckled.

"Take care not to lose that. Let me know what you find, and then...perhaps...I shall visit Himmler myself."

OOC: Indeed Drak. :) As well, DB, I only launched my long range recon aircraft but here come the bombers...36 in a group.

IC:

The thunderous roar of the Tu-160 "Black Jack" bombers shook the earth. The last of the missiles were loaded and the entire group began to leave their airbase under full fighter escort. Their prey would be any enemy ships since logically, most any attack on the Klatch would come from the South Klatchian ocean. Not that the Northern reaches weren't being watched, but who would want to antagonize the Lords of War?

Far overhead the south east corner of Dyelli Beybi

-Sir, we are patched into Satscan. JDF protocols initialized.
-Have they turned up anything yet?
-Not yet, sir.
-Alright. Keep on the look out for aircraft as well as ships. If the Tersanctians and pals come close, we have to pick it up first. Most likely, we’ll have to use the JDF bases on Jiggady for refueling.

This A-50 Mainstay SDRLO began to soon draw near the beautiful island paradise of Jiggady. It was to pass over the islands and search deep into that part of the South Klatchian ocean.

The Sea of Dukratus

Elsewhere, the 2nd and 3rd projection fleet gathered steam and neared the boundary of the Sea of Dukratus and neared the Dark Sea. Far behind them, the 12 submerged submarines followed.

With the actication of teh defense system, teh Megolith system came online to full defense, and weapons were aimed. Each Megolith base, five in all, consisted of 7 MASDW (Mass Airspace Denial Weapons), several interception missles, AA, AAA, and the like. Each was capable of producing a near impervious shield over the region, and, when activated, did so. Further, the full layer of defense satalites came online, providing up to the nanosecond information on the situation.

Imitora, it was stated from the very beginning that Dyelli Beybi wanted a modernish tech war. Why not downgrade the tech for that? And as well, what makes you think that the Klatch would not be able to counter your super duper future tech? Unless your infantry soldiers pack handguns that can blow up stars, we might be able to work something out.

IC:

The projection fleets drew closer to the Alconian islands. IFF protocols were sent out, just to be safe. Admiral Grushan, a colleague of the famous Admiral Killamo, didn't exactly relish the thought of risking his men for what he believed was foolishness. Certainly foolishness on the part of Tersanctus he mused, as he poured over the latest navigational charts for the region.

A fighter jet patrol was sent up. Even though it was unlikely that the enemy would be in this part of the Klatch, one could never be sure.

Deep below, the submarines continued towards their objective - which was unknown to all.

Also, were talking about fighters that, with pre2050 radars are 100% invisable, Subs with a material that actually focuses sonar through them so that they are relatively invisiable to modern(2015) sonar, supercavitating subs and torpedos, and most explosives are plasma yeild. Soldiers wear assault armor, and carry rifles that fire caseless depleted uranium 6.8mm Rail accelerated rounds. So yeah, even a totall downgrade would put my tech at about 2030 levels. Also, with a pregnancy scare, I think a war kinda takes back burner...considering the girl isnt my girlfriend...

Upon the Flagship Arkhangelsk Admiral Guerrero looked over the seas of the SOuthern Klatchian Seas. They were still technically 30 Miles off of the National Boudaries, in International Waters.

Off the port bow, another Refueling Ship was performing its task.

Why were they waiting? He wondered.

He felt that he had more than enough ships and men too give these Klatchian Bastards a nightmare they would not soon forget.

The Dragon had set his eye upon these Infidels, and they would be sheep too the slaughter, yet command from the highest source had ordered a holdback. He assumed reinforcements, though for a Naval Admiral, he hadnt been told anything, which was strange.

Sanctus, Tersanctus

Executor Dantes sat at his table still wondering why he was considering this. He was a warrior born, and bred. There would be nothing more to satisfy him than shed some blood.

It warms my heart, at your attempt at peace, in this late hour. Had spoken the Landgravine.

If it were your father Edmund, I may consider it. But I do not know you Had spoken the Walrus King.

The only thing that piqued his curiosity more than what a Dyellian looked like dead, was his Father.

He sat down and typed a message. Too the Landgravine of Alcona.

On the D.B.P.S. Lord Fisher, the flagship of the Dyelli Beybian Navy, Grossadmiral von Scheer had learned of the enemy's position off his coast, and he didn't like it. The one eyed strategist scratched at his eye-patch idly, the enemy outnumbered his fleet, but on the plus side, they would have difficulty targetting them while they were in port, connected to the vast bulk of Murphy Island. He idly considired attacking the pakrahs then dismissed it. The other two fleets could pull it off but not the Murphy Island contingent. They would sit pretty until the Vrakians arrived. He turned and wandered back towards his office onboard the massive Battleship, passing the two fore 16" tripple turrets as he did so.

He took immense pride in his vessel, true it wasn't as heavily armed as the Benito Mussolini or her sister ships, but it was longer, faster, sleeker. The Lord Fisher's huge stack of funnels gave away it's oil turbine engines, but they did not give away their immense size, the Lord Fisher could crash through the waves at over 40 knotts, although it did tend to cause her bow to dip alarmingly...

She was a beautiful ship, designed to be functional while encompassing the classical beauty of Battleships of a past era. She was long, grey and sleek, built for speed, with a reversed bow, ram and spa torpedo. Those served no functional purpose, they slowed the ship down, but they added to the aura of invulnerability the ship exuded - it said that the designers were confident the ship could wither the storm of incoming fire and still rip an enemy vessel in half, it was a silly boast of course, but good for morale nonetheless. While the Lord Fisher floated and flew the flag of Dyelli Beybi, the Kriegsmarine's morale would be high. It was sort of silly von Scheer thought, the whole country seemed to worship the warship.

He arrived at his cabin, oak panneled with a fine crystal chandellier set in the cieling above him. It was run electrically of course, a young female intern stood to attention, "Get me on the Blower to the Klatchian Parliament." von Scheer ordered, "I need to speak with someone..."

The City of Fasta Benj filled the horizon behind the small motorcade that wasd advancing along the river bank. Although the vast dome had crumpled and fallen during the war of the Tzars a vast wedge of it still formed the Eastern Border of the city, a soaring arc of dull jagged concrete, and the lower fortifications still rose a hundred metres above the plain of the great delta island. From this base rose the graceful spires of the new city, their stained glass glittering against the black basalt of the exterior. Even after all the damage the city had endured it was still a sight to stir the heart.
The three limosines drew to a halt on the gravel drive of the old house where the Landgravine was reported to be staying. Their hybrid engines whisper fell and died. The cars were a pale grey colour, and stained with mud from their journey through the sugar fields which surrounded the house. The first limo discourged a tall arrogant looking man with dark hair and eyes and slightly tanned skin, surrounded by suited men who bore the unmistakeable look of professional bodyguards, and bulges that indicated concealed weapons considerably larger than the average pistol.
From the second limo emerged a second detail of bodyguards, and two men in their early fifties, both looking quite grim. The shorter of the two had a pronounced potbelly, and stubble was visible on his dark jawline. The other carried a couple of briefcases, and wore narrow spectacles that pinched his nose.
The third Limo opened it's doors to reveal 6 men dressed in military uniforms, or possibly two of them were police. In either case, they were clearly senior officers, for there was an unmistakeable aura of command around them.
The delegation strode up the steps of the house, and rang the intercom buzzer.

IC:

Five missile cruisers joined the two Alconian Taskforces sitting before the Squall Straits. The air above them was thick with protective aircraft. They had reformed over the past twenty-four hours. The nine Soyuz class battleships and their brood of armored cruisers, muti-purpose destroyers, and frigates now formed one taskforce labled "Sword" with a carrier group offering air protection. The nine Arx class battlecruisers had also formed into a taskforce labeled "Dagger" also supported by a carrier group.

The missile cruisers appeared to be remaining separate with only a few destroyers offering air-protection.

***
Two JDF Hunter groups, consisting of six battlecruisers, 9 cruisers, and 18 torpedo destroyers moved out of the Jiggidian Islands for Murray Island at almost 36 knots.

***
The roar of another Challenger II tank could be heard as it losed itself from the confines of the barge. The sound of tanks marshalling in the fields outside the city of Fasta could be heard for miles. Across the river stood an old house. The handmade brick columns covered in ivy. On the second floor balcony stood the Landgravine, watching the JDF armored division work itself back out into a fighting force.
The man who stood next to her was Tom, her betrothed.

A young offcer appeared carrying a small slip of paper.
"A message from the Enemy to you my Lady…"

The Landgravine raised an eyebrow and took the note. She read the small script two or three times and then turned to the slightly shorter man. "You know, I don't get it…I really don't…First he says he want's peace, but gives us no option but war, then asks for peace again…"

"Maybe he is unstable…"

"You mean a nation of that size and prestige allowed a young man with a serious mental imbalance into power?"

"Let me see the note…" He read it and looked up at the Landgravine. "You know, I think the boy doesn't know anything about dear old dad…"

"Huh?…."

"Yeah, that makes no sense to you…but this note reads like he is trying to figure out if he's breaking his father's promises…"

"Hmmm…"

Executor Dantes-
My nation came into contact with yours and your father at Nekoa Bay. Of those at the table, your father demonstrated the understanding that true peace must be beneficial for both. That a peace of strength for both sides is the only way peace may last.
You did not demonstrate that, you did not demonstrate a desire for peace. You demanded the death of the Federation. You likely didn't realize that your demands meant that, but then you didn't really care either.
As we walked away from the table at Nekoa bay it was not away from the work of your nation at the table, but the interference of the self-declared Goddess Sithirl. We held not hatred for your father or your nation, only admiration. We know not what has become of that nation, it has morphed into one that takes offence at the worthless comments of a twit.

I should note that my sister offered a position to someone who knew your father, and having problems with the U.E, retired to the Klatch.
Perhaps he could inform you more of the relationship between the Vrakian King and your father more than I could.

The three Virginia VI class attack subs pushes silently through the water. With the their plasmatic drive systems replacing the old and out dated nuclear reactors, they were near totally silent, a total of four audible decibles being emited in nonsupercav transport. As they travled through the inky blackness of five hundred feet below sea level, crews worked dilingently to prepare for the first launch.

Each of the newrs class held ten full torpedo tubes, six forward firing on the forhull, two on the 'hip' and two more that fired rearward. Thos on the forhull of each ship had been loaded and armed. All three Virginia VIs had loaded three tubes with the Mk. XXV underwater launching device. The other three with the standard Mk. XX torpedo. Both were supercavitational, with the Mk. XX claiming the ability to hit over 300 mph in the water.

The subs were stagered, and stationed 90 miles off the teritorial coast, therefore a full 105 miles of the coast of DB. The weapons in the Mk. XXV had a 500 mile range, and when they approached the beach, would have a full load of fuel. However, they werent set to explode, but had another purpose.

When all three subs had confirmed the arming of the weapons, they launched. The Mk. XXVs powered through the water at 115mph, before sudenly rising. They broke the surface 20 miles from the 15 mile mark, and the shell like weapons opened, and missles streaked out from each. The missles were SLCWCM Hammers, or Sea Launched Chemical Warhead Cruise Missile. The 18 missiles shot towards the troops diging in at the beach, flying only 110 feet above the water at Mach 2 (Actually, its 1.8, but 1.8. looks bad). They were ECM/EMP sheilded, and each contained a large amount of the Black Osmosis engineered virus. The virus, would, upon dispertion, over load the osmotic capabilities of the human cell (blood and brain), and cause every cell in the human body to lyse within three minutes.

The other torpedos launched travled only 200 yards before stoping dead in the water. They 'hovered' there, emiting the same frequency and sound patern from a set of speakers that would allow the torpedo to look on sonar like an Ohio class SSBN, the only way to be able to determine them not would be the use of active sonar, which would in turn give away the presence of enemy subs. Not of course that it mattered, as after the launch of the torpedos, they Virginia VIs turned and slid away at a conservative (for them) 53(K)MPH.

Sodom didn't exist on any map, but if you lived in Port Olympus you knew where it was. The land of small alleyways, tight narrow passages. The center of Sodom looked like a mimi Vegas. Bright neon lights annouced such places as the Kitty Kat Club, The Darges, and Satan's Playland.

These were the kind of places that attracted lonly men. Like Checka Agents who were trying to spy on the central government. In the Kitty Kat club bar one sat with a young woman almost sitting in his lap. She was a blond beauty who had more sexual energy and skill than most. The vast amount of troops and equipment was steadily pouring into the northern part of Dyelli Beybi. The trains were working overtime and an advance tank battalion reached the city of Massingrad. As well, ground combat helicopters and all manner of fighter jets were also arriving in force. It also seemed an opportune time to test the new General Aviation purchases in this conflict – so an entire group [OOC: 36] was sent to Agua Suncia.

By now the 2nd and 3rd projection fleets were integrated into the JDF task forces. Elsewhere, the 12 submarines continued on their journey since they had a long way to go. They ran deep and now, they were taking precautions to run as silent as possible – even out by Inbredia.

[OOC: This part may be edited due to the result of the OOC thread. It might pick up the launching devices zooming at 115km in the water.]

Far above, one A-50 Mainstay did pick up the cruise missile launch by the enemy. The coordinates were sent to Intelligence from where the missiles broke the surface. They might be able to figure out where the submarines would go next.

There had been about 600 dead on the beaches. The beaches across the country were garrisonned by armoured Divisions, most tank crews weren't at the front line while many of the troops that were had been able to hide inside the vehicles which offered good NBC protection. A crop duster was now flying over the beaches spraying the area with anti-virals. It was costing the Government Millions, but they weren't planning to abandon the beaches any time soon.

Meanwhile in Cyro the debate had taken a nasty turn. This was a clear violation of the Geneva convention, and Dyelli Beybi would be damned if it was not going to respond in kind. They were activating alliances with other Nations, and bringing all their biggest and nastiest weapons out to play. The 100 'AH-1' units were trundled out of storage and were being spread across the coastline. Onboard naval vessels, the warheads on cruise missiles were being switched as were the bombs on the Fighter bombers.

Around Cyro the airbases were busy, requests were being sent to the rest of the Klatchians to get their airforces ready for a major assault.

Dyelli Beybi wishes to thank the Dracun Imperium for it's support of our Nation in this time of peril. Truly it seens the members of the KNS Alliance are more willing to aid us than are the members of the other Alliances we are/have been members of. Dyelli Beybi as a Nation will remain eternally grateful. We have already taken losses to enemy chemical weaponry, a blatant flouting of the Geneva Convention, yet we will not surrender.

We suggest to take the Western route into Dyelli Beybian waters via South-West Benjian territorial waters and passing between the mainland and Murphy Island. There is an enemy fleet near the coast at this time, however we expect it will not make any moves to attack shipping in Benjian waters.

We would also request that the fleets from the Dracun Imperium rendezvous with our own fleet anchored at Dyelli Beybi's Second Largest Port, Fiord Harbour, on Murphy Island.

The request from Dyelli Beybi regarding some form of airstrike was received and still more Tu-160 bombers and fighters were activated. While equipment and personnel from the Vrakian corridor were still being transfered, large cargo planes were also activated to deploy troops and equipment to where Dyelli Beybi needed them most. Vrak was also quite aware of the nature of the enemy attack and countermeasures were being drawn up.

In all wars, the bottlenecks would be logistical. In this case, the amount of railcars and runways available in Dyelli Beybi itself. Also, a communique was sent to SW Benjia in regards to where they could use Vrakian armour, troops, and anti-air equipment. It wouldn't be much in the beginning since airlifts would have to be used, but it would be a start.

At Fasta Benj International Airport, hastily commandeered to host the two JDF Fighter squadrons activity could be detected. In responce to recent dyelli beybian communications all thirteen Benjian aircraft that were declared flightworthy were being readied for on-call takeoff. The fuel tanks were filled, weapons loaded and armed, and the aircraft taxied out to the tarmac by the runway, with the powerup trucks parked beside them and the pilots and weapons officers sitting in full flight gear under the wings, eating sandwiches and drinking iced coffee.
There was a marked contrast between the sleek yet massive Falcon II fighter aircraft with their sharply angled wings and predatory aspect, and the lone Wyvyrn aircraft that stood beside them, its bulk seeming to hang beneath its large wings, rather than perch upon its wheel stalks. From underneath the wings one could clearly observe the rotating missile turrets they carried, loaded with the charachteristic profiles of MA17 Mid-range anti air missiles and MS-3 Antitank missiles.
The Nose and tail each housed two XC1 chaingun units, and four 12.5mm machineguns were mounted opn each side of the passenger bay.

The Dyelli Beybian rail network was straining under the load. There were only two tracks up the river, and checkpoints had been set up, moving less essential equipment off the railroad and onto River boats. This of course caused more delays, although it did clear the main trunkline somewhat. Oil, something Dyelli Beybi was usually never short on had suddenly become a valued comodity (mainly because the Government was haording it for military use) although now much of it was being delivered to Vrakian armour with the instruction to use the main highway and relieve the pressure on the railway.

The whole place was clogged with police officers, the military was mostly already occupied, so it was left to them to make order out of the chaos. Here and the omnipresent Cheka agents watched the goings on but generally kept out of it. They were the nerves of the Nation all wired up to Benjia House. If news reached Cheka Headquarters, agents across the country would know within minutes, whether or not they would chose to pass this information on was another matter...

The dignitaries were ushered in through the door and towards the stairs. The bodyguards were led to through the same door, but down the hall and into the front parlor. The room was filled with old stuffed chairs, a threadworn carpet under a chandiler that needed a good cleaning. The Durakian had taken up the entire sofa with his eight foot height. The Var took a guard postion at the bottom of the stairs.

Upstairs the wide central hall was filled with men on radios and a long table with a map of the surrounding area. Small blocks indicated units being moved around the area and gathered back into their cohesive brigades and divisons.

The group was led into one of the front bedrooms. Chairs from various places sat in the large room. A canopied bed had been pushed into the corner and various peices of equipment sat in a few other corners on bedroom furniture.

The Landgravine and her Beau walked in from an open tall window with the breeze. She raised an eyebrow at her aide who presented the Benjian delegation.

She nodded to them and offered them to take a seat as she picked up a file from a night stand looked through it for a second and then raised her head. "Now what might I do for you distinquised gentlemen?"

All troops are being equipped with gas masks. Also we have large stockpiles of W.M.D.s which we will gladly unleash upon the enemy to protect you. We will have to keep it a secret though dont want those blasted Counciler to have to vote on it will delay everything.

The president poke up first.
"Well, to be honest, we came to find out from you how thew war is going. Our country doesn't have much in the way of an intelligence agency yet, and so we are left with insufficient information to plan any military action. "
He waves his hand to indicate the Benjian Officers.
"These gentlemen here are charged with the defence of our country, and yet I've been unable to provide them with even a crude estimate of the enemy strength or positions. We would consider it a great favour if one of them could be allowed to remain here to pass on any information that we would need to act upon."
"We also thought it wise to inform the JDF of our forces in the area, in case they are needed elsewhere. Colonel Asmor, if you please."
Asmor steps forward, producing a folder from the briefcases held by Hackelberg. he passes it to the Landgravine, then clears his throat.
"As you can see, my lady, although SW Benjia has 15 regiments of troops in total, only five of them are currently deployed near the coast, and none are actually defending potential landing sites. To put it quite simply, we did not have the strength to prevent a landing ourselves, and so have opted for a distrubuted formation, with most of our strength kept in the east, near the oppositions primary forces. If we knew the location of the enemy landing forces and could keep an eye on their motion, we could redeploy closer to likely weakpoints."
President Nawashima took over the discussion again.
"I also felt it wise that we all met face to face, as we will probably need to interact again during the war, and the ability to recognise each other might come in handy."

In the cold darkness of space a green dot of light appeared, the green light grew larger and larger until a single spacecraft came through it, as quickly as it had appeared the light was gone. All that remained was the craft that had made a drop out of hyperspace.

The ship was nothing special, it was a civilian transport ship, there were countless others just like it that were in use in many other systems. It carried no armaments, and was bulky in design, compared to the sleek newer transport craft. It hull looked weathered, as result of too many atmospheric landing, the ship had seen better days. One of the ships most distinguishing features was its lack of features. It had no name, or any markings as to its origin, for all intensive purposes it was a ghost ship, as ship with out a home.

Several moments later the pilot adjusted the ship pitch, tilting the nose of the ship upward for re-entry. A glowing layer began to form on the under belly of the ship, as it came into contact with the planets atmosphere. Shaking violently the pilot fought to keep the craft under control, like a falling star the ship cut through the atmosphere, speeding towards it target like a bullet. After falling several thousand feet the ship reached gliding altitude, flipping a switch the pilot caused the wings to fold out. The pilot let out a sigh of relief hearing the wings click into place, the craft stopped shack, and the flight came much more smooth. Exiting a cloud the pilot finally saw his landing strip; with skill the pilot gently put the craft on the cement runway. Quickly the craft made it way into a nearby hang, away from prying eyes.

Major Sam Furegeson unbuckled him self from his seat, “I want this ship unload double time” yelled out to any who might be listening.

Somewhere the cramped crew quarters he heard a “Yes sir” and that was good enough for him. As he made his way of the ship he felt a bit out of place. Vrakian Military officials were waiting in the hang, all dressed in full military uniform. However, Furegeson as well as his subordinates wore civilian cloths. There was nothing to identify them as being Tappee military, no uniforms, none of them had Tattoo’s, they gone to great lengths to remain as ghost.

Even their equipment wasn’t standard issue, their guns where projectile based, compared to the energy-based weapons that Tappee used. All their equipment compared to what Tappee’s military used was almost a 100 years out of date, but then again that was that point. Their equipment could have been bought anywhere, there was now way that it could be traced back to Tappee. Furegeson understood the need for such precautions, he had been with Tappee special force since he was a child, they all had, and the work that they would be doing was unofficial, it always was.

Tappee could ill afford to be drawn in to another conflict, but also wanted to maintain it’s obligations to it allies. Stuck between a rock and a hard place it had decided to send Furegeson and his team to support for special operations the military of Vrak. Everthing about this mission was off the books.

Furegeson gave a salute to the highest ranking Vrakian officer he could see “Major Sam Furegson reporting in as ordered.”

The Landgravine nodded at the discussions. "Yes, you are a fairly new state in the Federation." She walked to a window for a moment. "This war appears to be the personel vendetta against the Dyellbians by Executor Dantes. A young man with more ego than sense I suppose. At the moment, I'm not sure where the enemy plans on landing. Nor if they would feel it to be honarable to invade you."

She ponders the river for a moment.

"At the present time, I'm deploying the two JDF armored divisions that were in Port Olympus along with three infantry divisions. I'm putting them all on the east side of the river. The two battlegroups are finding themselves to the west to protect my flank."

She mulls for a second, her green eyes looking at the group. "The question becomes how fast can you move your infantry divisons? Until the fourth and tenth armored divisons of the JDF get fully loaded onto their transports on the Pond and shipped south, I'm afraid that the weakest point in our defences is going to be the coast line from Fasta to the border."

She sat down with the provided map in her lap. "If they do hit somewhere between those two points we won't be able to stop them forming a beachhead but part two of Project Echo will be implimented. Obviously the thinner the beachhead the better we will be able to root the invaders back out."

"Now as for communications, I'll get a procurement of JDF scrambled radios for your regimental commanders so they know what is going on."

She smiled bitterly, "I wasn't planning on making this my permanent headquarters. It's just that we have some nice solid ground here north of the major road intersections so we can send our orginized troops down towards the shore as units. I wasn't expecting the enemy to hold off this long."

She stopped and looked at the military commanders. "That reminds me, how good is your anti-air protection?"

Colonel daur stops shredding his silk handkerchief and looks up to answer the Landgravines questions.
"Well, we can have troops digging in along the delta and the eastern side of the river mouth to the dyellian border by nightfall, but they'll be spread pretty thinly at first. It would take Three days to get a picket line of companies set up along the Ash harbour beaches. we'd prefer to keep Colonel Jagos regiment inside the city of Fasta to man it's defences, so perhaps a JDF unit could cover this point."
He indicates the bulge of farmland that sticks out towards the dyellian islands. "It's not too important, but it's a large area to cover so some form of armour unit would be best, and we don't have that many tanks."
"Air defence, well, not too good really..."
The rest of his sentence is lost as Seti interjects over the top of it.
"what do you mean not too good! We have some of the best fighters in the world and my crews training and discipline is impeccable..." This tirade is cut short by the president.
"Shut up Seti. we have good quality aircraft, but only 12 fighters ready for combat. Our local airdefence is impenetrable over the tortoises (Domed cities), but only against fairly low flying aircraft. Elsewhere we are limited to the AAA issued to the military units, which offers only minimal protection against anything but helicopters. We do however, have a tolerable anti-ballistic missile network, left to us by the previous regime, who understandably, saw great need of it."

On the 5 lightning carriers in the Dracun fleet(Check ooc thread)The pilots ran for thier fighters. Quick checks were done as well as pre-flight checks. The fighters scrambled. Hundreds flew into the air (realy only about 300) To bombard enemy fleet positions. They took of under command of Air General Antilles

General Antilles spoke into the intercom"All craft form up this is gonna be a slaughter for them but we are gonna take some losses be prepared"

The 300 aircraft went into delta formation, which is sort of shaped like a triangle. Of course is was sort of one due to the large number of aircraft involved

Genral Antilles switched over to high encryption mode and sent a message to DB "This is dracun aircraft. we are zooming in on Dyelli Beybi we request permsion(sp) to enter airspace and we would like to know the location of the enemy fleet" He waited for an answer and hoped the airstike would happen soon. Permission granted. Await radio communications for JDF IFF codes. We don't want any friendly fire incidents. The enemy fleet is within 30 nautical miles of the coast. We have a squadron of A-50s pinpointing the exact location. The attack will proceed in 3 waves in order to reduce the likelihood of mid-air collisions. Each wave will have 15 minutes to hit the target. The next wave will attack 5 minutes after the previous wave has finished it's run.

With that, the Colonel, being a tall but lanky fellow strode to the elevator and motioned for the Major to walk at his side. The rest of the Vrakians quickly lent assistance to their Tappee allies in unloading the equipment while a ring of soldiers guarded the compound.

We have activated 6 fighter flippers and 2 bomber flippers. A flipper has 324 craft. So far, our A-50s have not been able to pick up the enemy fleet, which is most puzzling. We already have an entire bomber group - 36 in all with full fighter escort (4 per bomber) looking for the fleet. However, our Tu-160s are arming themselves with anti-ship missiles and most should be ready to go in the time frame.

The Landgravine sat quietly for a moment and then began to speak..."Gentlemen, I'd say that we know the enemy's objective, the invasion of your eastern neighbor. Now then, the Benji represents a large obstacle to overcome if they invade west of it. Therefore, I doubt they will...and we should make them hesitant to do so."

She points down at the map. "At current most of the major bridges across the Benji appear to be here in Fasta. Now what other bridges exist across the river? Ferries are fairly simple to protect from the enemy, we only need to put a few guards on those. For the bridges I suggest we detail your infantry divisions to dig in on both sides and protect them."

She studies the map again, "I'm going to leave the two battlegroups on the east side of Fasta to help shore up it's defenses. It happens to both be a strong point and week point in the defenses. I am also going to order a few lake monitors down to patrol the outlet of the Benji and keep the enemy from attempting to land up the river. As for air protection, I'd like to move two squadrons to your major military base to help protect these bridge heads." When Vrak officials had first put in their request for assistance, the high command had taken a good look at the situation in order to better understand the type of support that could be sent. With the situation in both the Orion and Incol sectors, they could not provide any direct assistance; to do so would put the security of too many lives at risk. However, they had decided to send part of the SX to help with covert operations, and as such had developed mission objectives that would best utilize their strength.

“However, we are working directly under you command” added Furegson “And we will follow your orders no matter what they are. The mission objectives suggested by my command are just that, suggestions. The mission objectives suggested by my command are just that, suggestions. We have no place to tell you how to defend your country, we are here to provide as much help as we can.”

The elevator doors opened and the Orut nodded while listening to Furegson.

“Personally, I see no reason why we cannot go along with the mission objectives that was suggested by your planners. The only thing I wonder about is exactly how to get your men there. We do have at our disposal various methods to transport them, either by airdrop, submersible, or amphibious landing. But, perhaps to make it as innocuous as possible, maybe another way is possible.”

He lead the Major and his men into a small conference room. The layout was spartan, but still had the ever present buffet table to one side. Along the far wall two wall panels noiselessly open and a map of some continent was revealed. The lights dimmed and the Vrakian began.

“This is the continent of Nusquam Esse. As we can see here, Tersanctus shares a border with the Drakonian Imperium and Glorious Humanity. Politically, we don’t have good relations with their neighbours, due to the Nekoa Bay accords failing and then enacting economic sanctions through the KIST treaty. While both Drakonian and Glorious Humanity have not openly supported Tersanctus in their invasion attempt, we can’t be too sure covertly. Drakonia is the more bellicose of the two so we suspect that they might be helping Tersanctus, albeit indirectly. If we attack Tersanctus openly, we are quite sure that its neighbours will help defend, which would widen the conflict.”

The Colonel shakes his head.

“If only our government did not apply economic sanctions against Glorious Humanity then we may have had a better chance to infiltrate into Tersanctus via the land border. That is, we could have had your men arrive simply by civilian means. As such, I fear that the mission objectives suggested may be doomed. Unless, Major, you have an option that I may have missed. And if we were to suddenly lift sanctions then Glorious Humanity would get suspicious. After all, our enemies are not stupid, despite the official government line.”

“Alright, this is what I think that we can do.” Proclaimed the Major after some time “If we can get an craft a few miles off the Glorious Humanities coast I think that I can get my people inland undetected.” He glanced over at the Colonel.

“We brought with us a piece of equipment that maybe ideal for this situation. It called the Switchblade. It’s an extremely small single person glider, and it has an almost zero radar signature. Deployed from the right altitude it can fly nearly 10 miles.”

Furegson paused for a moment, trying to come up with a few more of the final details “What I would suggest is that using a civilian transport we try to get about 3 mile off the coast, that would allow us to get seven mile inland” he pointed to a section of the map “This looks like the least populated area, and would give us the greatest chance to succeed. Once on the ground we can move towards our primary objective. What you think Colonel can we pull this off.”

The Vrakian aircraft were joined by the first wave of Dyelli Beybians, across Cyro and the nearby towns people came out to gawp at the spectacle, the last major air battle had been over Bath where the Dyelli Beybian airforce had defeated the Bejians through sheer weight of numbers, and they were about to try the same trick again. All in all over 600 planes were involved in the first wave alone, all up by the end of the day around half of the aircraft in the country would have been involved.

Most of the planes were flying a high altitude course, in an attempt to stay above the range of most missiles, although on sighting the enemy the fighters were ordered to move in whichever direction took them towards the enemy equivalents. There were however a large number of fighter bombers which were doing their best to skim the surface of the ocean in an attempt to fly under radar.

Sorry Im late...
Anyway, I wonder if the Futuretech Exclusion thingy applies...since we are all technically one nation, and he attacked a state....
Its Piledriver time 8)

Until then though...

IC:
Due to its occuption of Swedish Dominions Dontgonearthere cannot currently lend active assistance, but we will allow use of all our airspace, ports, airports and lend as much logistical support as we can.
We will also add a %25 to the %20 regional discount for the GLACORP store, and provide free shipping (Save G5.99!!!)
Since we have no direct quarrel with Ter. we wont invoke a full International Mall ban, but we will not allow him to purchase from the GLACORP store.

The embassy wasn´t exactly a big one. Neither did it look too good, it was... Well, fairly standard, for business deals, and not much more.

However, this was about to change.

It didn't take longer than a few minutes until the ambassador (and an attaché with a distinct lack of work) arrived at the foreign ministry, entering. They saw yet another chance to... diffuse things, and they would be stupid not to take it.

With them, they had a black suitcase. In it was the relevant information.

"I just hope Ipshi Hagwonak is there... I hate to wait, especially with this matters..." muttered the ambassador, Takeshi Ai. She was in her end fourties, and, despite her usual friendliness, not exactly a patient person.

"It will work out."

"If you say so..."

In the suitcase were papers... Basic information about the GH rebellion, tactical data, experiences made, suggestions, and an offer for mutual coordination.

It would be fun.

OOC: Yup, I did. Some crossover stuff.

IC:

The Diplomatic Corps section of the Foreign Affairs Division occupied at least one floor of the dome shaped building. It was quite a lavish affair.

The Der Angstians were waved through after undergoing the usual security checks. A pretty secretary greeted Takeshi Ai in manner used by the guests and said,

"Please follow me. The Chief Ambassador will see you now."

She turned on her heel and strode gracefully down the hallway. Along the way, various walruses and humans were busy - or at least appeared to be when their respective supervisor drew near.

As they approached the Ambassador's office, a King's Own rose from his desk. He was, of course, armed, but smiled politely. He nodded to the secretary and then he pushed a button. A door opened and in walked the secretary. A loud booming voice could be heard.

"...yes, I understand. No, I don't know how Tersanctus would react to that. Perhaps badly I'm sure. After all, they are attacking us..."

Then he turned. Upon seeing Ai, he mumbled a few departing words and then exclaimed,

"Ambassador Ai! How nice to see you! Tell me, what of this "urgent" matter."
Der Angst

Ai smiled politely. By now, she was kinda used to the walruses... Not like when DA had its first contact with Vrak... She remembered it, it had been quite amusing.

"Oh, it's an honour to see you again, Ipshi. In any case..." She hesitated, opening the suitcase, sitting down, bowing slightly. "This urgent matter... I'm sure that you're aware of the fact that both our nations have a problem... The problem being the triangle Drakonia/ Tersanctus/ Glorious Humanity."

The papers in the suitcase land on the desk, various statistics, pictures, and pieces of text visible, though it seems to be 'a little' chaotic.

"We thought that you would perhaps be interested in a chance to hit the triangle before they hit the Klatch..." A smile, or rather, grin, forms in her pale face, her teeth barely visible. "Especially Glorious Humanity and their current... chaos should be a good chance."

The attaché, who was silent until now, opens his mouth. "Details can be discussed with me. We're pondering close cooperation, so..."

The Genottonian fleet set sail towards the Tersanctan Fleet for an aerial assault. All fighters on board on Carrier Madigan are being expected and checked before the assault. This process is also being done on Carrier Tiduse. Submarines follow the carriers from behind for back up. Destroyers and battleships escorted the carriers as they leave the Dyelli Beybi seas.

Furegson looked through out the hanger, his troops were making the final preparations before leaving for their mission. Everything was being checked, rechecked, then checked again, to forget something could mean life or death out in the field. He couldn’t be more proud of his men at this moment, they where doing what they all had been trained for, and they were doing it with amazing efficiency. “Lieutenant, may I have a moment of your time.” Much to his dismay being a senior officer meant that he would not being going along, he was to stay behind and monitor the situation.

As the lieutenant got close enough Furgeson leaned in a whispered into his ear “We are going with the Phoenix protocol on this, do you understand?”

The Lieutenant took a step back and gave a quick salute “Yes sir, I shall make sure that everyone is made aware.”

“Very well Lieutenant, once the Vrakians give you the flight plan you are cleared to commence with the operation.”

The attaché, who was silent until now, opens his mouth. "Details can be discussed with me. We're pondering close cooperation, so..."

Ipshi grinned. Ever since the prolonged negotiations and subsequent failure of Nekoa Bay, the diplomatic corps has been looking for a way to strike back. Certainly, the Tersanctian attack upon Dyelli Beybi roused the entire Klatch to war. And Glorious Humanity and the Drakonian Imperium were allies of Tersanctus…

The Drakonian Imperium.

Its very name cause bile to rush to Ipshi’s throat. He excused himself and spit into a spitoon behind his desk. But, this all seemed to be good to be true. Did not Der Angst bomb Dyelli Beybi once before, causing a similar round of painful negotiations? Ah, well. That wast the past. And an opportunity to weaken a common foe was too good to pass up – yet suspicion lingered.

“I’ll pass along the relevant data to our military planners. But Ambassador, indulge me it you would. What does your nation hope to gain? And why were you supporting the rebels? Finally, what kind of help do you expect? After all, we are currently embroiled in a war against Tersanctus, so I don’t know how much aid we actually could give. But others in the Klatch may be able to help as well.”

Ai smiled. Slightly... Well, indifferent, one couldn't see, couldn't guess much of what she thought.

"Fairly simple. We're having a common enemy, and coordination should help us to gain... More. Success is what we want... And I'm fairly certain that you want the same." Hesitation. The rebel issue is... may be a problem. But...

"As for the rebels... Well, lets just say that we have certain... interests regarding the rebels and their cause. Kinship and such things. And with the help... Well, While a full scale intervention would certainly be useful, it would be... complicated, in the current situation. But using the frictions already being there, sending... Some help to support the growing chaos..."

She smiles.

"The effects could be significant."

"Well, owing to the width of the River Benj, the oonly crossing points on the lower river are those on the delta and at Convergence. The Warsaw ferry doesn't count, as we shut down its operation last week to overhaul all the equipment. If the fools do land to the West of the river, they face a long journey to Dyelli Beybi."
OOC: The lower river referred to is all the river benj inside SW Benjia. the upper benj is in new dyelli and the vrakian corridor, as far as the lakes. Convergence is about 2/3 the way up the lower river, at the point where the river evil joins it.

Fasta Benj Intl Airport
Squadron Major Taita, who had been left in charge of the squadron while Seti was away meeting the Landgravine, read the Dyellian message. Then he read it again.
"All Fighters, we have scramble orders, repeat, we have scramble orders! Target is tersanct aircraft leaving their fleet. Kill the Blokk pakrahs!"
His words were relayed across the tarmac where the Benjian aircraft were waiting, broadcast by the public announcement system for departure calls.
Within 60 seconds the first Falcons engines were screaming as it taxied out of its park, and all aircraft were aloft within 3 minutes, Ramming eastwards at Mach1.

Ipshi's smile remained, although his mind was busy churning out possibilities. Of course, we would have to deny everything. Especially if Drakonia and Glorious Humanity started poking around...

"I'm quite certain that this new found cooperation will not only further our relationship, but weaken our enemies."

Ipshi reached for a glass and poured the Ambassador and himself some whiskey.

"To success!"

The Colonel smiled as he put down the phone. He then sought out Feregson and exclaimed,

"It appears that we got some new information from an unexpected source. Are you familiar with the recent going ons in Glorious Humanity? Anyhow, there are some rebels there attempting to destabilize the government. Seeing how GH is an ally of Drakonia and Tersanctus, I think we should take advantage of this opportunity."

He showed the Major the same information that had been passed on from the Der Angstian ambassador to Ipshi: basic information about the GH rebellion, tactical data, experiences made, and suggestions.

"What do you think, Major? Care to expand the mission profile? It has here the names of the rebel leaders (OOC: I'm making a guess that it does) and their last known approximate position. We could send a team to wreck havoc in Tersanctus and another to support the rebels. Of course, we will have to work out some manner of resupply and evac here. As well, my men will need a crash course in your gliders. We are still not sure where our subs are since they are maintaining radio silence."

“Well normally I would need to get approval to expand the mission profile as such” Furegson knew that the bureaucracy would take time, and in a situation like this was always against them. He took a moment to try and find a loophole, and didn’t take him long “However, I was told that we are working under YOU command, if you want to change the profile, then we can change the profile, I’ll consult command later. Her what we will do, I’ve got an additional 45 gliders that your people can use. We will proceed to the original drop point. However, from there we will split in to two groups. Alpha, and Bravo, Alpha will proceed to the original objective, while Bravo make contact with the Rebels. As for re supplying our forces I would hope that the rebels have some sort of base near the coast, we could make it into a base of operations of sort. If we can get this base of operation going then we can resupply via the sea, and evac that way if needed. Have your people gather in the main hanger. Colonel my men are trained to live of the land for an extended period of time, and have extensive experience working behind enemy lines, I would suggest that my people consist Alpha, while your people take Bravo. But if you want we could mix the teams.”

Meanwhile, additional Vrakian Tu-160s were being pressed into service. With the massive airstrike on the Tersanctian fleet about to commence, the available craft for this mission were now suddenly in less supply.

OOC: I'm not exactly sure if a Tu-160 could double as a transport in this case. I suppose it can. Constructive input?

It will be said that the English did not defete the Great Armada of Spain in 1589; poor seamanship and the weather defeated it. Unfortunately, the same would befall Operation Hammerfist. It would not be the Klatchians that stopped the invasion, but a Typhoon. Typhoon Tabathia.

12:36+ After Dyelbian Space Mine Launch

A mine in all the world is a fairly stupid thing. It soley exists to blow up when it get's near something. The odd fact that someone had sent one out flowing among the satalites in orbit above the Klatch only proved that humans were stupid also.

At the time the satalite network above the Klatch had always been somewhat a mixture of systems and ideas as much as the Klatch is itself. It had also been stretched thin after the war with Dozle, many sats that once existed were now debries in space. Which explains why there were only three, somewhat dated weather sats over the Southern Klatch. And why two of the farthest East were busily sending their data to a third somewhere over Benjia.

The space mine didn't care. When it hit the said weather sat it did what it was supposed to do. Which was unusual for where it had been manufactured. But it turned itself and the weather sat into floating debries

The word "F***" cut through the air. Most of the people in the darkened room were staring at the news screen on a far wall. The sights and sounds of various ships, and equipment launching off for war; far more interesting than the few thunderstorms rolling about the Dark Sea at the moment. Most of the staff was only occasionally glancing at their screens. However, the sudden swear had brought all eyes onto sation 24 the Southern Klatchian Sea.

A potbellied suppervisor rose from his chair a bit annoyed. The live girl action from Amsterdam had just started getting to the good part.

"Mathews, what is it?"

"South Klatch Five just went off line, with a collision warning just before that…."

"Huh, damn…well that shouldn't be…"

"The whole fricken Southern Klatchian Ocean is dark….we were using SK5 to act as a relay…"

A lieutenant quietly opened the door and waved the Landgravine's swordsman over. He whispered into the man's ear and handed him a small printed piece of paper. The swordsman walked over and whispered into the Landgravine's ear, holding out the paper.

"…coordinate defense….It is imperative that we convince the enemy not to…." She shakes her head and looks down. "Well Gentlemen, I'd say we have new concerns before us. Meanwhile, the Vrakian Air Marshal threw his vodka across the room as he screamed at his aide.

-A typhoon? By Bok's maw, how did it evade our satellites? Do they not WORK?!

He looked out the window, as if he could see the typhoon all the way from Massingrad. Then, he thought of all the planes that he send up.

-Give me a location of our aircraft. They will have to abort if the typhoon hits.

Elsewhere in Dyelli Beybi, the equipment still poured in but gradually, an end was in sight. Positions were laid out and strategy was revised with consultation with the Dyellians and JDF forces. When the weather report broke, a loud cursing could be heard.

-A typhoon? How did it...never mind. What's its last location and heading?
-It appears to be heading North Northwest at 45 knots. It's a big one - class 5.

-Make sure our Air Marshal knows of this. Also, ground all of our air transports and ground support equipment. Issue a general wide alert and for Bok's sake, make sure that our ships are out of harms way.

(OOC) This is an IC post aimed at wrapping up this thread. If anyone really wants to start another war feel free to start it up again, but I think enough time has passed with no real posts from the oposition to conclude that this war is finished.

(IC) In the weeks that had passed the Dyelli Beybians had waited. Election time had come and gone. Eamon Collins, had won by a landslide, his "National People's Revolutionary Party" holding a clear majority in Parliament. This of course meant that Dyelli Beybian foreign policy was radically reevaluated, however it was clear right from the outset that most foreign Governments would not regard it as a possitive one, with the new 'High Chancellor of Dyelli Beybi' vowing to "personally sodomise the Executor of Tersanctus with a broom handle if he ever sets foot in Klatch again."
Apart from that life returned to normal in Dyelli Beybi, with one notable exception. People were noticing weird goings on at the "Ministry of the Occult" formed under the Tzar to deal with several members of the Special Inquisitorial Guard who had managed to cause substantial damage to the polar ice caps while armed only with a bell book and candle...
Little did they know the change that was coming.

The typhoon inflicted large scale damage upon the Vrakian fighter craft and bombers that were supposed to intercept and then destroy the Tersanctus fleet. Although the last two waves were able to turn back, the others waves were essentially lost. Some were able to escape but the suddenness of the typhoon coupled with a desire to kill the enemy at the expense of their own safety contributed to the self-inflicted losses.

The navy fared better, although a few destroyers and smaller ships also found rest at the bottom of the South Klatchian ocean. Clearly, the invaders had been stymied and their losses were unknown at this time. The ground units had little to no casualties at all. Many of them were dug in and now, slowly, began to pull back. Some units were to remain, conditional upon the Dyellians of course. But it was felt, at least from a Vrakian point of view, that a rapid mobilization could be better realized if troops were in the most likely theater of war. And the Dyellians had a habit of attracting attention…

Military experts began drawing up new strategies while factories churned out equipment to replace the losses. As well, yet again a new restructing was in the works, and perhaps the upshot was that new suprises might be revealed. Also, mobile TDP vats were brought to the front to recycle the dead and the Order of Bok monks chanted the haunting death chants to bade the stout warriors a safe journey to the afterlife.

Finally, the head of Christopher Dantes and the leader of Imitora were added to the “to do” list. The Vrakians were, after all, a patient race.
