Explosions in Georgetown

Penpusher Confederacy
03-06-2004, 09:34
At 9:30 AM on June 3, 2004, explosions were heard from the Capitol Building in Georgetown, the capital of the Penpusher Confederacy. Firefighters stormed in and cleared out the fires, and rescue workers started taking out survivors. The elderly Prime Minister Smith condemned the attack as a "cowardly attack on democracy." Ten people, including a Senator, died in the explosions. No major damage has been done to the building, and no suspects have been found. In a speech, Prime Minister Smith said "The investigation bureau has found no suspects, and a foreign terrorist attack is not suspected. We suspect domestic terrorism, and investigations are raging to find out who has committed this cowardly attack on the Confederacy." It does not appear to have been a suicide bombing, because only a few people were around the building at the time of the explosion. No one was found going into the building before the explosion. More as this develops.
