1 million tons = the general export of a country of its primary resource for 5 years. (Australia = Coal)

1 billion equals the produce of a planet.

1 trillion equals the produce of one thousand planets.

70 trillion is SEVENTY THOUSAND PLANETS, all mined for 5 years. Consider the fact that such a mining operation per planet would take 0.25 million people. At least. Now consider 70 thousand times 0.25 million. 17.5 billion people. How many countries on NS have 17.5 billion people? Also, no one could mine that much, considering the demands of agriculture, protection, exploration, maintaining mining operations....

The Trade Council are still furious about this stunt. Several L4-owned assets became worthless after the payment for all that happened. Please, show more concern for our system's economy in the future.

By trading such massive amounts of precious materials, we are straining the economy. We can't keep up this balancing act much longer, so I urge Imodius to place restrictions on the amount of material they release. Millions of asteroid miners will be left without jobs if you keep this up, and once you deplete your own resources, there will be no mining infrastructure left abroad and prices will soar. You're sowing the seeds of an interplanetary economic depression.

Every year, nations use 600 octillion tons of resources. This will only make a mild dent in certain markets and that'll heal over quickly.

Perhaps, Councilor, but platinum and diamonds? These are controlled resources that have had more or less steady markets for years. A new, unregulated supply with a massive output will bankrupt smaller economies.

OOC: NS is a bit far-fetched. The last time I checked, we had enough nations to require more than 2 dozen Earths, some of which reach population levels Earth cannot support under modern technology. The figure isn't that far fetched when you consider I'm going by all of the nations known to have registered.
