"...thus rendering it useless. In other news the Holy Catholic Church of Rotovia has conveined the first sitting of the Ecclesiastic Council in over a century. The Council will meet to discuss the future of the Rotovian Church, which has been out of contact with the Vatican since the 1500s when Emperess Solara Deitus II, of the then Empire of Rotovia, declared Seperation of the Body. The decree was enacted under the augustine powers of the Monarch and resulted in the expulsion of all Inquistors from Rotovia.

This Decree will however expire this year and with no Monarch to renew it, places the Church in a quandry over whether to rejoin the Mother Church or appoint their own Pontiff.

Many Rotovians are leaning towards the later as the Church's Doctrines differ significantly from those of the Vatican, namely:

-Female Clergy
-Falable Doctrine
-Bible Truth overides Church Doctrine
-No Indulgences

Rotovia's Cardinals have already flocked to the former Imperial City to begin the Council and possibley nominate Rotovia's first Pope"

"Just hours ago the Ecclesiatic Council of Rotovia's Catholic Church appointed the first unquestioned female Pontiff, Her Holiness Pope Joan IX. She will take office as Pontiff of the Rotovian Catholic Church next week as the leader of the Faith and Vicar of Rotovia.

There have already been concerns voiced from abroad over a female Cardinal being appointed to the role, however the Ecclestiatic Council of Cardinals has maintained it's support for Pope Joan IX. Who has already been acnowledged by the Rotovian Senate and President Baccheus"
