As of 21:00, rulership of Skager has been passed on to none other than Lord Damien the Destroyer of Automagfreek. This resolution was passed by the prior ruler of Skager, who saw it fit to assimilate The Indomitable Dominion of Skager into the Excessively Armed Empire and the nations that reside in it. We now join the ranks of Old Frankland, The Royal Knights, Greek Forces, Hackers Demise, and Arrogant Uber Geniuses.

We feel that under Lord Damien's supervision, Skager will elevate itself to new heights. We welcome this change in leadership, and we pray that Dreadfire will bestow his gifts upon us as he has the many other nations in the Excessively Armed Empire.

Well...it's sorta like the US and the (non 2nd/communist) world post-WWII. Everyone sorta liked the US's help, ability to pay to make everything nice and clean (and prosperous) again. That honeymoon sorta ended in 1956 for the French and British (Suez Canal Crisis) but, aside from a few personal squabbles...it was nice to have someone else footing most of your defense bill. It's all about how you play your cards.

Many nations AMF's size or larger (WA included) have become firm allies of AMF...which made it harder for older nations (at first) to lay any such smackdown. Plus many of our sized nations were either wiped out quickly for being n00bs or just quietly built up our reputations to a respectable level.

AMF is an amazing writer and an inventive RP'er...makes him notable and one's word is 3/4 of the power in NS. AMF has so many allies that would stand for him that even massive enemy forces from a few larger and similar-sized nations would be quickly and easily dealt with or would be faced with such a stalemate that they don't bother. Smaller nations have little chance to attack a popular large nation unopposed by that larger nation's allies.

Think about it...US vs. Iraq. People could bitch about it, but noone was going to step in for Iraq...you just don't piss off the Superpower like that. Not that AMF is THE Superpower of NS or anything...but he has enough power to lay the smackdown on smaller nations with ease...and with a helluva lot of style while doing it!

The truth is easy to speak...and too many new people don't seem to really understand why some major nations are respected/feared and others are laughed out of RPs. It is better to smash one n00b and explain the justifications than to smash a dozen and say nothing.

LRR's high human rights standard would prevent us from being allies with AMF, but we certainly do not want to get on his bad side.

Especially when BMP-1/2s still form a large part of the army IFV force!

We ask politely that elections be held in Skagar to determine the legitimacy of Freekish rule.

If you are at peace with us, then why do you feel uneasy about your capacity to take over whole nations? If anything, wouldn't and increase in AMF rule help to put your mind at ease? Unless of course you have an agenda that I'm not aware of.....

As for elections, those won't be necessary. The leader of Skager has passed the chalice onto me, and that is where it will stay.
