Today, the UKN Parliment publically Anounced that it would be putting presure on the Empire of Oai Islands to join the Confedercy. many experts where suprised that the UKN Would even consider dealing with the Oaiese, as they Declared war in 1963 (Oai Islands War) and 1972 (War of the Korean Strait). while much smaller then the UKN Armed Forces, the Oai ones are extremelly well trained and have combat expierence rangeing from the War of the Yellow Sea (1717-1723) to the Ye Zi Island War (1998-2001). in comparison, UKN Forces have had just 1 Combat Expierence, and in that one, they where unable to fight the enemy due to various circumstances.

However, the UKN is very Active diplomatically and has much more expierence with usseing WMD. however, it is hoped that this time, war will not be nessacary.

Press officers corner the First Minister as he's walking into the Houses of Parliament.
"Excellency, what is the official position of the Imperial Government?"
"Official position? Our official position is that we don't have an official position!"

"Excellency! What is your personal view on the matter?"
"It's naked imperialism. Not that I find that objectionable."

"Excellency, will the Empire take any action?"
The First Minsiter stops, and turns.

"The Cenobriach, our head of state and the living link between Heaven and Earth is in a critical condition in hospital, and there is no clear sucessor to the throne if he dies. Ask yourself: What is more important to the Empire? UKN hitting on some little tin-pot country out the back end of beyond, or the Cenobriach being in the ICU?"

With that, he turns and sweeps into the building
