The LRRA has been looking at replacments for its aging fleet of Mi-24D hinds, bought surplus from other countries.

The hind is no longer an effective battlefield helicopter, and is thus in need of a replacment. The LRRA needs 800 helicopters which can meet the following specifications:

Cost under 30 million USD
ability to carry at least two passengers
Combat radius greater than 300 miles
Maximum speed comparable with the Mi-24
External weapons load at least 1,500kg
ECM capable of defeating IR and radar-guided missiles
Armor protection around the cockpit area capable of withstanding 20mm at least
Components interchangable with common military helicopters
IR and thermal imaging systems
Room for customization
Ejection systems for the pilot and gunner

OOC: I've got one under development, but I suppose other models will be posted before I can.

It doesn't meet several of the requirements.

Our EA-34 advanced attack helicopter meets your requirements and also has lower RCS:

OCC: Do you care if its produced by a future tech nation? Also, I'm not entirely sure what a rotor brake is, though if its an ejection system, I have that.

Well, Skeelzania makes use of what is an essentially enlarged Hind. Called the MH-56 Harbinger, it is either comparable or better than the Hind in all characteristics. We believe we can manufacutre them for 30 million USD each, if you buy in bulk (which you want to do anyway). Here is the Harbinger's entry in our factbook:

MH-56 Harbinger

Across the myriad worlds of Skeelzania, the MH-56 Harbinger has become the long arm of the Grand Prince, bringing order to remote planetary regions. Operating as an assault transport, Harbingers are capable of quickly delieverying a squad of men to hotspots, and then backing them up with lots of firepower. It's stubby wings can hold a relatively large payload, and a chin-mounted gatling and 30mm cannon are hell on infantry. Several different variants exist: for example, the heavily-armed MH-56A is often used by FS strike squads operating out of firebases, wheras the MH-56P is manufacutered and used on the penal colony of Asulas Secundus (this model being built for unarmored-target elimination).

Model Number: MH-56 (multiple variants)

Maximum Speed: 350 km/h
Cruising Speed: 300 km/h
Service Ceiling: 4,700m
Hover: 2,200m
Armament: (standard) 8 wing hard points can mount: rocket pods, AtS missiles, AtA missiles, bombs for a total of 1,500kg; 1 fixed-mount 30mm rotary cannon; 1 chin-turret mounted 14mm gatling,

Any questions, please ask.

Does the 2 passenger requirement mean 2 personel in addition to the stadard 2 man flight crew?

For straight attack/gunship role we have the K-467 Goth:

And for the flying BMP/hind style role we have the K-49 Hun B armed trnasport (it isn't currently as heavily armored or quite as fast as you desire but it can be modified, it easily has the weapons load to spare for the upgrades to be made):

Skeelzania's MH-56 looks like the best, and the LRRA will buy 1,000 for futuretech usage. But as for modern tech, Crookfur, your ultra hind upgrade looks like it will fill the specification quite nicely.

We would like to buy 200 Ultra Hinds and 800 upgrade packages.
