Perhaps with my help you could make a difference. But why fight oppression? I don't get it. All these pansy little democracies and republics always have all these party conflicts, leaders who people aren't happy with, etc. In a dictatorship, you don't have any uncertainty about things. You may not like your leader much, but at least you know he'll be there in the next four years (unless he dies or something). Oh sure, you could stage a bloody coup, but if you fail, you die, so you always think twice about deposing your leader. In a democracy, if you fail you just have to wait until the next election. It leaves everyone with a feeling of "will there be a good leader next time?" and "what will happen at the next election?" For the fools stupid enough to be cocky about their majority position, they are crushed and ridiculed when the majority suddenly changes after one of their stupid mistakes. I say stick with the guy who took over, and he'll take care of you. Personally, I can put up with oppression if it means I know my government won't be gone tomorrow morning.

My nation is ruled by a 3-Person Party (Heads of Trade, Forces, and Civlility). Our short answer is no, we will not aid the person who request aid against oppresion. My nation has few elections (which would explain why I am still in power) but has rather loose civil laws, its a good life :).

An interesting concept, but what happens when you are invaded? Surely you can't survive without a leader.

Also, how do you control crime? If there is no leader, people can take anything they want and do as they please. Your nation would turn chaotic within a few days if you do not have a leader.

a) You are not large enough to withstand some psyco dictators attack
b) You are not large enough to withstand an Attack from Anyone Really
c) Wait 3-9 Months or until you hit a Billion then it is a lot easier
d) You really don't have the funds
e) Find some allies that might support your cause
f) Don't openly denounce anyone you don't want to go to war with that is

It takes 6 months to hit a billion.

By that time I will have around 3.4 billion people, so it really wouldn't matter.
