They had managed to remain undetected so far by flying through unpopulated areas at extremely low altitudes.

1) Mini-nukes are fission devices with a small yield (say 0.1Kt). They're very, very "dirty" and thus using them in your own nation is a very bad idea; also your troops will likely die of radiation sickness very soon thanks to their exposure (a mortar doesn't have a very huge range, y'know; maybe a few miles).

2) The EMP from said "Mini-nuke" would likely fry any radios or other electronic components in a reasonable arc, say a kilometre or so. Thus your men are now unable to communicate with their UH-60 anyway.

28 Landing Craft, Air Cushioned (LCAC)
LCAC is a high-speed, over-the-beach fully amphibious landing craft capable of carrying a 60-75 ton payload. It is used to transport weapons systems, equipment, cargo and personnel from ship to shore and across the beach. The advantages of air-cushion landing craft are numerous. They can carry heavy payloads, such as an M-1 tank, at high speeds. Their payload and speed mean more forces reach the shore in a shorter time, with shorter intervals between trips. The air cushion allows this vehicle to reach more than 70 percent of the world’s coastline, while conventional landing craft can land at only 15 percent of the coasts. Speed: 40+ knots; Capacity: 60-75 tons.

40 Landing Craft, Mechanized and Utility (LCM/LCU)
These landing craft are capable of transporting tracked or wheeled vehicles and troops from amphibious assault ships to beachheads or piers. LCM’s feature a bow ramp for onload and offload. LCU’s have both bow and stern ramps for onload/offload at either end. The use of landing craft in amphibious assault dates from World War II. The craft are carried aboard amphibious assault ships to the objective area. Speed: 9-12 knots; capacity: 34-180 tons.

50 Assault Amphibian Vehicle (AAV)
The AAV is a full-tracked landing vehicle available in three models. The personnel model carries troops in water operations from ship to shore, through rough water and surf zone. It also carries troops to inland objectives and ashore. The command model gives you a mobile task force communication center in water operations from ship to shore and to inland objectives after ashore. The recovery model is designed to recover similar or smaller size vehicles. It also carries basic maintenance equipment to provide field support maintenance to vehicles in the field. Max speed: Land 45 mph; Water 8.2 mph

Major Spratley moved his bomber into position behind the refuelling aircraft. It was a somewhat tedious process, but it had to be done, otherwise they would end up ditching in the coast off Biyzantium. He glanced out the window and saw in the distance the MiG-31M jets circling around his bomber flight, on the prowl for any threats.

Submarine group "Scythe"

The missiles shot out of the water and streaked off towards the secondary targets- Naval bases. 24 cruise missiles in had been fired this round, in addition to the 48 from before.

USSCR--Dawn

Air Raid sirens wail as the radar operators in the mountains detect strategic bombers. Citizens run for their designated shelters in the cities. Everyone is orderly and well-behaved, having practiced for this moment a day ago. The SAM missile sites rise from the top of the skyscrapers, next to barns, and from the back of missile trucks. MiG-31s and F-22s alike roar overhead seeking targets.

The ship didn't ride well, thought Yuri Avseyenko. For over thirteen hours his comrades and he had been packed in the Alligator-class LST Grishka as it bucketed through the waves, many of them vomiting evrywhere. He smiled at that. You'd have thought they'd be used to it by now. Driving a T-80U isn't exactly steady work.

Along with the rest of the 3rd Motor-Rifle, he was going to Biyzantium. He and his comrade tankers were cooped up in the LSTs, while the infantry got an easier ride, with their BMP-3Ms, on the Zubr-class ACVs. The group was being protected by a CVBG and a CGBG, while above them Su-37s and -34s circled endlessly. More than enough to ward off any problems. They knew where they were going to land, knew roughly what to expect; only light defences, but keep your eyes peeled. The airborne boys should, in any case, be able to cause enough confusion behind the line for an attack to be successful. Three more hours to go.

TBH i would have voted for your CR, but CL prattled on about how you wouldn't allow any sort of co-operation between RBA & International, not that i have seen any improvments from CL...
