"Hours ago the Republican Armed Forces stormed what intelligence confirms has been a haven for Akarthian terrorist networks in centrel Aden. Upon arrival a small group of our forces were immidetly under fire. Moments later our artierly opened fire on the terrorist camp, but was kept at a distance due to heavy motar and anti-tank fire. This may be the terrorist camp harboring House Akarthia's leader, the former dictator of Lorkhan whom we've been hunting for well over a month.

The base has been under fire from air raids and our well trained Stormtrooper Force. Our forces have suffered casulties, but the toll will be well worth it once this battle is over."

Otep's forces had been fighting off waves of Lorkhanian soldiers for hours now. At first he had hopes of actually holding the Republican Armed Forces back until reserves from Jull had arived, but now things were not looking so good. The fortress walls had already been stormed and Akarthia's ariel support had been destroyed. At least the AA Guns had been holding back aircraft, but the Stormtroopers had already siezed two of the four anti-air weapons.

"Should we fall back into the mountains sir? We still have a fighting chance if we fall back!" Otep's second in command shouted over the roaring gun fire coming from their command post.

"We will not fall back! We can not risk revealing the location of Lord Otto's position."

"So what shall we do? We are surrounded. I'd give us twenty more minutes before the air force bombs this entire fortress to the ground!"

Otep took a single remote from his flak jacket and looked at it with a sinister grin.

"Prepare to release the biological agents...if we are all going to die, so will they..."

The black wave of Stormtroopers break through the defenses of the Akarthian House with ease. Only a year ago the Stormtroopers served under the very same men whom they sought to capture tonight. For the first time Commander Otep saw just how well he had trained these troops.

With great speed and ease the Stormtroopers dispatch an AA outpost. One of the soldiers tosses a flashbang by the outpost. Akarthian foot soldiers open fire with their obsolete AK-47's, but the trained Stormtrooper is back behind his cover before the footsoldiers are even aware of his position. A loud blast is heard followed by a bright light and smoke. The Akarthian foot soldiers stumble and cry out in pain as they fall to ground. The Stormtroopers use this opertunity to fire a RPG into the AA, rendering it useless.

Colonel Reeve looks on at the performance from his troops from his command chopper hundreds of feet in the air. He is confident that tonight his troops will be victorious, and tommorow he will be promoted. Suddenly he spots three men on a tower with gas masks on. Immidietly he notices they are not his soldiers. He calls for his sniper to take the men out, but it is already too late. A large blast errupts from the center of the fortress followed by a green toxin that shoots into the air. Reeve can only look in horror at the sight below him as hundreds of men hopelessly die.

Ah, I was wondering when that would happen.
The soldier looked up, then down.
"Err...thats me...isnt it?"
Yes...you should be proud, most people dont pick up on that until later.
"Err...whats happened?"

Some things are easy to beleive when a seven-foot tall skeleton with a scythe says them.
"Oh..." The man rubbed a semi-transparent arm. "Err...what happens now?"

The man faded.
Death glanced around, then kicked a bit of rubble over. He reached down and retrieved a ball of sodden fur.
Y'know He said to nobody in particular Sometimes I get VERY angry. A small, almost-not-there cat looked at him and meowed, then faded away as well.
Sometimes I could just kill for a good curry.
Death vanished.

"Tonight is a night of tragedy. While closing in on an Akarthian camp, the vile terrorist animals set off a biological agent that killed hundreds of our soldiers. It is not known whether or not this agent is contagious, however we have sent clean up crews to investigate the area. We believe all Akarthian resistance has also perished, an unfourtinate set back considering how much intelligence was lost in the blast. We would be very greatful if other nations would like to help clear the blast area. Our experts have estimated that the fallout has spread over six miles. Luckily the area of the blast is not heavily populated. "
