The UK of Isselmere-Nieland welcomes your diplomatic corps
Isselmere
28-05-2004, 18:16
[NB: If you know have an embassy in the UKIN and you are not listed, it could be that I have not yet updated the list. Apologies.]
The United Kingdom of Isselmere-Nieland opens its doors to the world in the interest of furthering greater understanding between diverse peoples and broaden its trading horizons.
His Isselmerian and Nielander Majesty's Government (HINMG) stresses the importance of maintaining proper diplomatic protocol and must insist:
a) that heavy weapons will not be permitted within embassy grounds, that embassy guards may be permitted to carry small arms within embassy grounds (although agreements may be arranged to carry concealed weapons for ambassadorial protection outside of those grounds);
b) that HINMG reserves the right to order the removal of such staff determined to be engaged in illicit activities, and that diplomatic staff found in flagrante delicto will be detained and may be prosecuted before UKIN courts unless arrangements regarding diplomatic immunity have been made. Charges brought against such an individual by a UKIN police agency will be brought before a court within said person's nation of origin insofar as is possible;
c) that while an embassy is an extension of the operating nation's territory, operation of any vehicles to or from embassy grounds must be in adherence with UKIN law, and that the presence of military vehicles, with the exception of such permission granted by HINMG, is strictly not permitted.
We of HINMG hopes the nations of the world are amenable to these humble requests and we look forward to fostering prosperous diplomatic relations.
Sincerely,
The Rt. Hon. Geoffrey Middleton, MP, CS, PC

The Rt. Hon. Sir George Fredericks, KL, MP, CS, PC

The Praetonian Government is interested in entering into an Embassy exchange with the UK of Isselmere, although we wish to clarify our position on your terms as stated in your original post.
We wish to post 50 embassy marines inside our embassy, armed with standard rifles. If you wish us to reduce that number then it can be negotiated,
We demand, however, that any Praetonian diplomat, if arrested, be handed over to our authorities immediately. We will agree to an extradition treaty, but we wish our citizens to remain in Praetonia until due process has taken it's course. This can be negotiated, but we are fairly set on reaching these terms.

The Commonwealth of McQuaide, a small yet ambitious state hoping to rejoin the international community, would be honored by an opportunity to establish diplomatic ties with the United Kingdom of Isselmere-Nieland. To further such aims, the Commonwealth of McQuaide is prepared to offer the following in an agreement to establish diplomatic relations:
1) A four story embassy facility, newly constructed in the capital city of New Dublin's 'embassy row' district. Embassy Row, found in the center of the New Dublin cultural and arts district, is easily within walking distance of the Commonwealth of McQuaide capital buildings.
2) An agreeable trade agreement minimizing tariffs on goods originating from the United Kingdom of Isselmere-Nieland. Such an agreement can provide the basis for a mast favored nation agreement.
3) A military non-aggression treaty providing guaranteed Commonwealth of McQuaide non-participation in actions against the United Kingdom of Isselmere-Nieland. This treaty can open the doors to a future military mutual defense pact should that be desired.
Should any other considerations be desired, the Commonwealth is willing to consider any other reasonable request.

Your Excellency,
I understand your concerns regarding the legal status of your diplomatic staff. Let me assure you that once the individual in question's diplomatic immunity has been verified that said individual would be handed over immediately to your auspices. Your Excellency will, of course, understand that if an individual is caught in the act that said person would be detained first then his or her status verified by the respective police agency. This process rarely takes more than a few hours (four hours at most, though generally the process is performed in under an hour). Foreign citizens and subjects without diplomatic immunity will be processed in accordance with Isselmerian and Nielander law, in accordance with international conventions, but His Majesty's Government is interested in establishing an extradition treaty with your nation.
With respect to the proposed size of your embassy guard, fifty armed with service rifles will be permitted we require that such guards are not posted outside embassy gates.
I hope your Excellency accepts our conditions so that we might exchange embassies.

After the kind words of His Isselmerian and Nielander Majesty Henry V to His Azazian Majesty King Andrew I, I have been authorised by King Andrew and His Prime Minister to enter negotiations and talks that would establish a diplomatic relationship between our two peoples and their respective governments. Your requests regarding proper diplomatic protocol are in fact quite similar to those of His Azazian Majesty’s Government and thus have met no opposition by the Prime Minister or his Cabinet. If found acceptable, the United Kingdom (of Azazia) shall ready a luxurious mansion and nearby office building both located in the Diplomatic Quarter on King John Street for the use of HINMG.

Attn: The Rt. Hon. Sir George Fredericks
May these first words brought upon by a profound tragedy symbolise the first steps towards building a fruitful relationship between our two great peoples.
Sincerely,
The Rt. Hon. Roberta Kline

Subject: Embassy exchange
Your Excellency,
Although it saddens us within His Majesty's Government that it required a tragedy to bring our lands together, it gives us great pleasure to adopt the most generous suggestion of His Azazian Majesty and of His Azazian Majesty's Government for an embassy exchange. The Isselmere-Nielander Foreign Service is most grateful for your offer of an elegant mansion on King John Street within the Diplomatic Quarter of your illustrious capital, and, on behalf of His Isselmerian and Nielander Majesty, I accept. Might I likewise offer your Excellency either a charming yet capacious nineteenth-century hotel on Woodcourt Road in the delightful Borough of Tueslynn within our capital of Daurmont or land for the construction of a new embassy within the Borough of Grangeley?
I hope either choice might be suitable to His Azazian Majesty's Government, and we in His Isselmerian and Nielander Majesty's Government look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with our Azazian colleagues.
Sincerely yours,

To whom it may concern,
The Republic of The Beltway is interested in entering into an embassy exchange with the UK of Isselmere. We would like a one-acre embassy, with sixty staff and forty guards armed with MP-5 submachine guns. We hereby present the credentials of Ambassador Charles Ruppersberger. He and his family will live and work at the embassy. Further, we desire diplomatic immunity for misdemeanor offences, and request permission to maintain a helipad with two unarmed S-70 Black Hawk helicopters. Re: Embassy Exchange
Greetings from the Democratic Imperium of Halberdgardia. Though our two nations have not had much contact in the past on an official level, we have heard much favorable talk of the United Kingdom from various well-respected nations in the past, including our mutual ally Sarzonia. Our own observations of the United Kingdom's actions on the international stage have vetted these opinions, and we therefore believe that pursuing diplomatic relations with His Majesty's Government would be mutually beneficial. It is for this reason that we request an exchange of embassies with His Majesty's Government.
We would like to submit the credentials of Mr. Neil Hamilton as our proposed ambassador to His Majesty's Government. Mr. Hamilton was formerly the Halberdgardian ambassador to the nation of Muesilania, holding that position for some eight years. Mr. Hamilton has a Master of Arts Degree in International Affairs and Relations, as well as a Master of Arts Degree in History, from the University of Halberdgardia in Washington, D.C., widely regarded as the nation's top university. As is customary for our embassies abroad, we would like to request diplomatic immunity for our embassy staff, as well as permission to deploy the following units for embassy security:
30 Halberdgardian Marines (armed with M-32 "Quinn" rifles and fragmentation, flashbang, and smoke grenades)
5 MMPWV LV-08 Armored Trucks
5 Z-39 "Pit Bull" CICVs
5 UH-75 "Knighthawk" utility helicopters (armed with dual 7.62mm miniguns, mounted one on either door rail)
If His Majesty's Government accepts our request for an embassy exchange, the United Kingdom will be granted a luxurious mansion and fully-modern office in Embasst Row in downtown Washington, D.C. Exact terms for your proposed embassy can be arranged upon request.
We look forward to hearing from His Majesty's Government, and we wish the United Kingdom of Isselmere-Nieland well, regardless of His Majesty's Government's decision regarding an embassy exchange.

It is our great wish to commence an embassy exchange with the glorious Democratic Imperium of Halberdgardia, but His Majesty's Government has grave concerns regarding the security force your government wishes to place within the ambassadorial compound. As noted in Foreign Service directive #8906 [the first post of this thread], His Majesty's Government refuses to allow the presence of heavy weapons, such as heavy armoured vehicles (re: Z-39 "Pit Bull" CICV) or armed helicopters (re: UH-75 "Knighthawk") within embassy grounds as such would be considered a grave affront to His Majesty's Government and the Defence Forces of the UKIN (UKIN-DF) and a potential threat to the security of His Majesty.
We in His Majesty's Government sincerely hope that you would be willing to revise your proposed force structure. Until such time, I must respectfully refuse Your Excellency's most generous offer for an exchange of embassies.

Dear sir --
I somehow find it strangely amusing, but really, quite astounding that our two great nations have not exchanged diplomatic envoys in the past. I believed that we had, and certainly, checking my own list (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=376589), it appears that we have done such a deed with our dear friends in the United Kingdom. If we have simply encountered an oversight on the part of our view of relations with the other, then you may count this communication as though I am simply attempting to finalise our position on the diplomatic level with the United Kingdom of Isselmere-Nieland.
Perhaps the change of government has led to a bit of miscommunication on my end. However, upon contact with previous Agustinates in this portfolio they remember quite vividly an exchange of diplomatic envoys with your noble government and people.
If this is not the case, and indeed we do not have an embassy in Daurmont but are confused enough to have you on our list of embassies, please do not hesitate to correct this. In that case, you may consider this our official request for an exchange.
My best wishes to you and your people.

To the nation of Isselmere...
We would like to establish strong diplomatic relations with your nation. Could we exchange embassies in one another nations???
To: Appropriate Isselmere-Nielander representative,
From:Russkyan Politburo Representative Abroad,
Message Body:
- The People's Socialist Republic of Russkya, given extensive business conducted between the RMSMC and IMW as well as other Isselmere-Nieland based defence corporations, and research conducted by the foreign services department regarding history and culture has been suitably impressed with the nation of Isselmere-Nieland to wish to open (or strengthen, as the case may be) diplomatic relations. To this end, we are prepared to offer Isselmere-Nieland's diplomatic envoy a embassy, which may be constructed by Isselmere-Nielanders* if so desired, approximately one city block North-West of the Politburo Buildings in Russkya's capital, Berisak. Standard procedure allows for a platoon-strength (Approx. 25-40 personnel) security detatchment to be stationed there with all personal equipment including light and medium antitank munitions, general-purpose machineguns, and marksman's rifles, depending on I-N* Military organization. Weapon types not permitted would be any weapon chambered for 12.7x108mm or larger ammunition, thermobaric weapons (IE: RPG-7V / PG-TBG-7), automatic grenade launchers, or heavy antitank guided missiles. Such firepower will not however, be required to protect the embassy, as security will be personally garunteed by RISS* officers and members of the MVD-ISF.*
If allowed by your gracious (host, ideally) nation, Russkya would wish to establish an embassy consisting of a standard diplomatic delegation (Ten diplomats & functionaries) with a support staff of twenty (Communication Specialists, Chefs, Close-Protection Detail Personnel, Cleaners, etc.) and a Embassy Security Detail of twenty five men armed with basic light weapons and battlegear - no explosives, although smoke canisters and flares are standard equipment for covering egresses, should it become nessecary. Although, this is assumed to be unnessecary, since Isselmere-Nieland would appear to be a very secure nation.
Regards,
- Russkya, People's Socialist Republic Of, Politburo Representative Abroad.
OOC: ** - I do not know if I used the correct terminology for "Isselmere-Nielander," IE: someone from Isselmere-Nieland, and I do not know if I-N is an appropriate abbreviation of Isselmere-Nieland. That and this missive seems bloody clumsy, my apologies if it takes more than a few seconds to understand what I am trying to say. This unfortunately, seems to be the best I can do at the moment. RISS is an internal security force that no-one really wants to have to deal with if they've gotten on the 'bad side' of said organization, and MVD-ISF are Internal Security Forces units, not unlike the Militsiya (Police,) but with much larger weapons and armoured vehicles, in addition to more urban-combat training. Your embassy would be... 'secure,' is an understatement.

OOC: Russkya, Madnestan, Halberdgardia, San Haven, and Northford -- my apologies for the extended delay in getting back to you. I will try to do so by tomorrow. Again, sorry.
OOC: how the hell don't I have an embassy in your nation already? wow... am I really that Ignorant?
IC:
The Nation of Illior Would like to extend the opportunity to exchange embassies from our two great nations, because somehow, we don't already have one. Due to a recent alert from our Intelligence services, all Illiorian embassies are now on a high state of alert to a terrorist attack, and as such, would it be possible to allow heavier weapons into the embassy and have a garrision of 250 security personel, between guards, personal bodyguards, and analysts? The Type of weapons that would be brought would be XM-8 like weapons, several shotguns and a multitude of Submachine guns. Also, could concealed weapons permits be arranged for the 25 personal bodyguards? The type of motorpool, if allowed, would be 4 Humvee Like Vehicles, all unarmed, 10 heavily armored SUVs, 5 Lightly armored SUVS, and 5 Heavily armored sedans.
(If you do decide to establish an embassy in Illior, all the requests above are the standard allowances in an embassy in Illior)
OOC: Mind letting this stuff go through? I'm working on setting myself up for an RP at a later date... PM me if you want more info on what I'm planning to do...

His Isselmerian and Nielander Majesty’s Government will be most honoured to accept the gracious and most generous invitation of the People’s Socialist Republic of Russkya, and does most humbly make a similar request of its own. HM Government has long desired closer relations with your illustrious nation that has contributed so greatly to the livelihood of this nation’s workers.
HM Government accepts the conditions for establishing an embassy within your beautiful capital of Berisak, as they are similar to our own. We in HM Government are certain that Your Excellency’s superb security forces shall assure the security of HM Representatives.
Likewise, HM Government offers the People’s Socialist Republic a lovely site in the midst of the Arcadian borough of Grangeley in our capital, Daurmont, for the construction of an embassy there. Alternatively, Your Excellency’s government may establish its embassy in the central district of Tueslynn in the former manor of the Baron of Crichmont.

To: Sir George Fredericks, Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Development, UKIN
From: Samuel Burns, Foreign Office, Commonwealth of Northford
Subject: Embassy exchange
Thank you for your kind offer, Sir. The Commonwealth has been rather busy lately, and due to circumstances permitting, I have not been able to attend to this matter sooner.
As I write this, I am presently in the process of organising a Northfordian Construction team to send to the United Kingdom of Isselmere, to construct a Northfordian Embassy. That is, of course, pending the permission your wonderful country would need to grant.
An issue I would like to raise in this communication is the issue of a UKIN Embassy in Northford. At present, we have two areas in which we are allowing embassies. The Capital: Richmond, or the recent RedBridge development. The capital is, generally speaking, the reccomended site, although due to the nature or Redbridge, and it's geographical locality (virtually a part of the capital), we also allow countries to "set-up-shop" there.
Speaking of shops, on a recent private visit to the UKIN, I managed to get a chance to visit the IMW (webpage) store. Might I say I was very impressed with the quality of the goods offered.
While the Commonwealth is largely focused on developing it's Navy at the present (OOC: I'm buying from Sarz), let me say that I will do everything possible to ensure that the Government gives your wares a consideration when it comes to making a significant investment in the Land Forces.
Best Regards,

To: Sir George Fredericks, Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Development, United Kingdom of Isselmere-Nieland
From: Joshua Lin Cheuk Kitt, Minister of Foreign Affairs, United Sovereign Nations of Southeast Asia
Subject: Formalization of Diplomatic Relations
Dear Sir George Fredericks,
The United Sovereign Nations and the United Kingdom so far has had a cordial relationship with one another, and speaking on the behalf of my nation, we seek to strengthen ties, especially given the fact we both have friendly relations with the Incorporated States of Sarzonia. Other reasons for an embassy exchange with one another include the Isselmere-Nielander ties with Halberdgardia, and the fact that the cabinet is glad that the Royal Shipyards is willing to establish a partnership with Kahanistan Military Industries and found a satellite plant in the only coastal city of the Democratic Soviet Republic of Kahanistan, Al-Bahr. The establishment of the said facility shall most likely bring both short-term and long-term economic benefits for the United Kingdom, and in turn bring on a long lasting friendship with the Kahanistani Republic.
Should you accept, you shall be provided with an embassy in the diplomatic quarter of our capitol, Singapore. Our regulations on foreign embassies is as follows:
Both embassies are to follow the diplomatic laws enumerated below. These embassies are to be considered the national territory of the owner of the embassy, and any attack on the embassy shall be considered an act of war.
The laws on embassies encoded by this treaty are as follows:
The amount of armed guards, including professional soldiers, are to be from zero to fifty men, with whatever arms thought necessary by the client nation, excluding, but not limited to, high explosives and high-explosive devices such as RPGs, anti-tank, and anti-aircraft munitions.
Five soft-skinned combat vehicles are allowed, including armored personnel carriers and infantry fighting vehicles.
The flag of the client nation is to fly no matter what reason, including policy towards certain political groups inside the host nation. It is national territory of the client nation, and thus they have the right to any flag.
We hope you find these terms acceptable. We would like to submit for our own embassy in your own nation:
1 Ambassador [Nomination Pending]
46 Embassy Staff
3 Attachés (Economic, Cultural, and Defense)
Total Diplomatic Personnel - 50
Five MMPWV LV-08 Armored Patrol/Light Trucks (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=10623787&postcount=34) (Unarmed)
Three Elusion-class Vehicles (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=10168550&postcount=2)
1 Helipad
1 UH-75 "Knighthawk" Helicopter (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=10762523&postcount=36) (Unarmed)
35 Embassy Guards (Weapons - SAR-21 assault rifles (http://world.guns.ru/assault/as31-e.htm) with fragmentation, flashbang, and smoke grenades)
We look forward for a long and prosperous, and positive relationship should you accept.

Re: Allanean embassy establishment
Dear Mister Prime Minister,
I ask you not to accept an Allanean embassy in the United Kingdom of Isselmere-Nieland. Why? Because of their belligerence in the international community, and their absolutism.
They claim to be a liberal and peaceloving nation, and yet they perform imperialist actions across the international community. Examples of such violence include the state of Antanjyl, where they installed a puppet regime and the people voted against the candidate they wanted to stay in office, conflict ensued.
And given their Cute Bunny Burger Corporation's controversial, absolutist reputation, I would strongly recommend that you do not let them establish relations with the United Kingdom - it'd be better that she distances herself from the anarchaic state that is Allanea.
Yours Sincerely,
The Right Honorable Prime-Executive Leadership

Your Excellency,
First, let me offer His Majesty’s Government most sincere apologies for not having responded sooner. Regrettably, certain pressing internal matters had deferred our attention from Your Excellency’s most important communiqué.
His Majesty’s Government does hereby grant permission to the Northfordian construction team to begin development of an edifice suited to the needs of your esteemed Commonwealth, and do hope they will begin construction soon.
His Majesty’s Government would prefer to do as Your Excellency suggests and establish an embassy within your beautiful capital, Richmond, to ensure that the lines of communication between our countries should not be ruptured.
Please allow me to express my gratitude that the products at the Isselmere Motor Works storefront had attracted your attention. I hope they might receive the custom of Your Excellency’s government sometime in the near future.

Your Excellency,
It is an honour and a privilege to receive your missive. His Majesty’s Government accedes to the majority of Your Excellency’s government’s requests save the provision to include infantry fighting vehicles or similar armoured fighting vehicles. The presence of unarmed versions of the LW-08 and of the Elusion-type vehicles may be permitted, but armed versions of such vehicles shall not be permitted within this United Kingdom. Furthermore, rifle-propelled grenades or launched grenades shall not be permitted. His Majesty’s Foreign Service and its embassy guards follow like provisions, thus His Majesty’s Government feels it necessary to place such restrictions on foreign embassies within Isselmere-Nieland.
His Majesty’s Government shall be honoured to establish an embassy within Your Excellency’s exquisite capital of Singapore. I hereby present the credentials of Lucas Smallwood, a twenty-three year veteran of the Foreign Service, as ambassador to the illustrious United Sovereign Nations, along with his wife, Anneliese, and their daughter. HM Government requests that Your Excellency’s government may permit a forty-two member embassy staff, three attachés, and a platoon of thirty-nine personnel of the Tower Guards Regiment to support the ambassador in his duties. HM Government also requests that the ambassador may call upon the services of five unarmed L18 general-purpose vehicles, two armoured (but unarmed) IMW Opulent sedans, and one unarmed Cormorant HC.3 helicopter. HM Government sincerely hopes Your Excellency’s government is amenable to these requests.

Dear Madam President,
His Majesty’s Government would be ecstatic to establish an embassy within the Armed Capitalist Republic, and will be most honoured to receive Mr Alexander Horton and Captain Gregory Wallace.
With respect to the transport requirements, HM Government respectfully requests that the number of light transport aircraft be reduced to one, although this may be extended to two for diplomatic eventualities, and humbly asks that the underground barracks be reduced to that required to sustain a contingent of fifty personnel maximum.
Direct underground connections between Your Excellency’s embassy and edifices of HM Government will not be permitted, however. The extension of such underground facilities under the Isselmere-Nielander capital would pose an undo security risk for HM Government, as well as gravely undermine the sovereignty of HM Government within the United Kingdom itself.
On behalf of HM Government, I hereby present the credentials of Samantha Wiesling, a twenty-six year veteran of the Foreign Service, as ambassador to the glorious Armed Capitalist Republic, along with her husband, Mark, and their son.

Subject: Good news
Your Excellency,
Thank you for authorising out construction teams presence in the UKIN. As this is being sent, the teams are flying out, and sourcing out suppliers of Raw Materials in the UKIN who will sell them building materials. At this rate, our Embassy will be finished in approximatly 3 (NS) months.
To the issue of the late reply, to not worry. We often have issues in Northford that slow down our communication infrastructure, and appreciate how debilitating even the smallest problems can be, on an already strained system.
As per to the reccomendation of establising an embassy in Richmond, our government readily agrees. In fact, it hereby grants the people and Government of the UKIN 1 Square Mile (The "Embassy Squares" as they are known in Northford) as sovereign soil for such purposes. While we are on the subject of embassies, let me outline the Northfordian Government's regulations. They are relatively lax, considering the fact that our country is still in the proccess of forming stardardised defence forces:
Not more than two (2) Helipads/three (3) Helicopters. Helicopters may be of the civilian or military type, providing they do not have more than 1500Kg of Explosive Ordanance each (Roughly one and a bit JDAM's), or weapons of mass destruction
Not more than Five Hundred (500) Military Personell.
Not more than Seven Hundred (700) Civilian Personell
Not more than 10 Land Vehicles, must not have mounted weapons if used outside of embassy compound
You may be wondering why this list is so very comprehensive. Well, that mandate also covers other buildings such as consulates (in other cities), or Advice Centers. Should you wish to esbalish these, their provisions qwill be taken out of the above list.
I hope you find the following proposition suitable.
As for the issue of the products at the Isselmere Motor Works, although we are very busyt at the moment, I have been told you can expect and order soon.

The Elusion-class Vehicles and LV-08 MMPWV Armored Patrol/Light Trucks shall come unarmed as detailed in the proposal. The Embassy Guards shall maintain the SAR-21 Assault Rifles (http://world.guns.ru/assault/as31-e.htm), but lose the launched grenades as requested.
Ambassador Lucas Smallwood and his vehicle entourage and family are permitted.....with the exception of the unarmed helicopter, as due to the urban nature of the capitol of the Union of Southeast Asian Nations, we shall not permit it till relations with the United Kingdom improve to much closer ties like those we have with the Democratic Imperium of Halberdgardia.
However, we can allow a helipad basing as you so desire. The Federal Parliament of Southeast Asia has yet to approve of a person for ambassadorial duty and is still in debating the process. I shall get back to you on that as soon as possible. Construction of the Isselmere-Nielander embassy in our Diplomatic Quarters can begin as soon as His Isselmerian and Nielander Majesty's Government desires to.

RE: Embassy Exchange
Your excellency,
The Free Republic has heard much of your nation from our regional neighbors Sarzonia, and would request an exchange of embassies with the United Kingdom.
We present you the credentials of Peter Ames Carlin, who was formerly the ambassador to Sarzonia, and has always had an interest in the United Kingdom.
The embassy would have a staff of 20 employees, and 20 Lamonian Marines to provide security. The Marines would be armed with 20 Vektor CR 21 assault rifles ( http://world.guns.ru/assault/as26-e.htm ), 20 P220 handguns, as well as tazers and batons. The only weapons that would leave the embassy (with United Kingdom permission) would be the P220 handguns, for diplomatic security use only.
We would also use 1 diplomatic limo, and 3 security SUV's for ground vehicles, and one unarmed Super Puma helicopter, for which we request a helipad be installed on the embassy grounds.
If any of these requests do not meet with your satisfaction, we will remove them from the list. In addition, the Free Republic invites the United Kingdom to establish an embassy in the Free Republic. http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=543926&page=3

Sir Fredericks,
I, as representative of the Republic of Jeuna, would like to put forward a proposal that would establish an embassy in the United Kingdom of Isselmere-Nieland. At the same time, I would like to extend to your government the offer of an embassy or consulate in the Republic of Jeuna.
There will, of course, will be security guards on the grounds of the aforementioned embassy in Isselmere-Nieland, and will be armed with CFQ-03 submachine guns and QSZ-94 (http://nationstates.wikia.com/wiki/QSZ-94) sidearms. I also request that there be a cache of BZ-98 (http://nationstates.wikia.com/wiki/BZ-98) rifles stowed for emergency use.
I request that arrangements for office space be made for a staff of approximately 55 persons be made. The Jeunese government will take care of housing arrangements.
