OOC:I feel so godmoddish with respect to my navy and my armour. :oops: My army and airforce are about as big as yours, though. Are you island based or nearly landlocked?

no wait, ive got a little more tax and an older nation and stronger economy. (and so a comparitively huge navy and about twice as much armour) (am island based though)

Not sure if youd have nukes, you might want a misile defence system instead....

Bit of a tangent but if you buy stuff one year, how much would you say is a good maintenance cost. At the moment i pay 10% of my hardware (and troopp training and equipping costs) to replace it every 10 years and 5% to maintain it. Then expand with the rest of my budget. Is this sensible, god moddish or a little innacurate? (most of my equipment is home designed so its built to be cheap to run)

oh and this assumes i dont get into any major wars and take a lot of damage...
