While the coyote pattern has served the Imperium well, the color pallete does not match the enviroment of the Imperium. As such, it has been decided that there will be a reversion to the old M84 and M90 patterns, with the Army getting the former and the Marines getting the latter.

[Really now, can't a guy get a little appreciation for editing a pic and creating a custom camo scheme? Yeesh.]

OOC: Most people don't make camouflage (might help to spell it right) patterns, they just assume their troops have them.

Anyway, good work. Anyway I can get you to make Feline one?

OOC:

You might wanna get rid of the green in the desert pattern. That'll stand out like a sore thumb. Replace it with a beige or a mix of the grey and brown you have on there. You'll probably want to make the brown a shade or two lighter, as well, it's too dark to blend in with sand well.

[To be totally honest the M90 forest, M84 forest, and M84 desert are real patterns but I had to edit them all to get the pics to look flat and make them editable.

GM: The green and redish-brown work fine; the Danish, Iraqis, and Finnish use that exact color pallete in their camo. Deserts aren't typically devoid of plant life and if you look at the pics of the troops in the sand storm during the Second Gulf War you'll notice that the red-brown color in my patterns and the sand is extremely similar.]

I have to agree on GM with this one, while the redish-brown is fine deserts don't have enough foliage to make the green viable.

OOC- I think the desert ones are fine. Desert conditions vary from the 'Sahara-type' desert (all sand) to the 'bush' type deserts where all it is is dark sand and scraggly dark green plants (cactuses included). You're gonna want a pattern that can work moderately well in all desert types instead of 8 seperate desert patterns to issue each soldier for varying terrain coloring, plantlife, etc. So, I think they'll work fairly well.

That M90 pattern should work perfectly for forests with a combination of colors to match sticks/earth/tree bark (The brown), grass/small plants (light green and dark green [could work in both situations]) and leaves/large plants (light green and dark green [could work in both situations]). Not to mention the way its arranged it'll easily diffuse any outline you have. That light tan... That'll work well as a lightening agent, in the event your pattern is too dark for the environment, or 'combine' the wearer with shaft's of light/areas of light/light plants in the wearer's vicinity.

Someone's gotta issue their men REALTREE 3D (c) camoflauge for the forest BDU. Damn that stuff works well.

[Actually, the M90 forest pattern features differing shades of green which works well with the type and color of the foliage in my forests. I happen to be of the oppinion that M84 works better, but I've seen pics of that in action and the edges of the person, even standing in a small clearing, looks really hazy and blends in perfectly with the surrounding forest. I don't care what anyone says about CADPAT/MARPAT, Scandinavian patterns are the shit.

As for the realtree, it'd be too mission specific to be anything but a logistical nightmare. I think there are over 100 different patterns of realtree.]
