DPUO's Defence Ministry has recently been pushing hard for the development of satellite-based defence systems in order to augment our not-inconsiderable strategic weaponry. As a consequence, we are seeking advice on development from nations with experience in construction of these systems. There may also be a contract available if the MoD considers a given system to show sufficient promise.
Conditions:
- Must be launchable on an F-series (Soyuz) booster. Heavier payloads require the use of Proton-class rockets, which are in relatively short supply.
- Preferably be easily retrieved by shuttle systems for repair in space.
Any and all nations are welcome. Total contract value, should it be given, is estimated at two hundred billion.
