All Air Units were called home to resupply. As the Air Units were called home, the 2nd half of the divisions lifted into air, this time to destroy the Ottoman fleet that was coming from the sea.

It seemed as if countless F16's were in the air, because nearly two thousand lifted off to take out the fleet. But the AF HQ was running low on equipment to keep up with the maintenance of the fighter jets, and as long as the Ottomans and Johorians didn't know this, everything was fine.

This would be the last Acre Union Air strike.

The Fleet came into sight after 16 minutes of flight, immediately, each plane swooped in to fire their missles, majority aimed at the Flagship SULTAN ALI.

Meanwhile in a small little known village on in the provinces of a long ago glassed nation the OMGT listened in to the worlds chatter, or at least they tried with their limited equipment and interlect...

Jake wore a pair of heavy headphone attached to a rather complex peice of machinery, before his nations government threatened the UN he was a radio show presenter with a little bit of technician in his job role. Now he worked for the OGMT.

"Here you guys, it took me an hour or so but I've figured it out..." It was Fred, the 'graduate' of the bunch, he didn't take anything to do with codes but it was a minor interest of his, like logic puzzles only he clearly didn't get enough practice...

Slowly, repeating the message in the more complex parts, occasionally explaining the longer words like "uncomplicated" and "Province" for Mike. They got the message...

Mike was getting excited, he didn't understand much about politics and he generally didn't have a clue even after a long discussion with Fred. None the less Credonia was concidered to be the big one, the overall evil which must be overcome, even if they weren't actually that bad they were brought up in nations which held a dislike the them, afterall, any nation which attacks the UN couldn't have much sense...

The other agreed, they too knew of this "threat" (which isn't really a threat but they didn't know better), they prepared to get their gear together...

Little did they know that three other cells had also picked up the message, and true to OMGT's unfortunate organisation they were heading towards Ottoman Khaif... they woudln't work together, it was more likely they would actually end up damaging each others chances as "friendly fire" happened often with these incompetants.

But none the less they prepared themselves for the trip.


OCC: The "Oh My God Terrorism" organisation is made up of citizens from completely idiotic nations, the kind which start nuclear wars with the world or threaten the UN... as a result of the actions of the international community the OMGT hate most of the world and the international community, even thought their nations started it.

They are a bunch of bungling terrorists who's only chances rely on luck, however while they have this in abundence when hiding out they are unfortunatly bad fortuned with the actual attack... as two cells end up working against one another to both fail. The Praetonian fleet approached the shores of the Acre Union> The air defense and ASW ships circled around the inner ring of battleships and the Flagship aircraft carrier. Inside this ring was the core of troop transports, entirely safe from most enemy attacks. For now at least.

As soon as the Praetonian battleships reached firing range, they opened up with their guns, pounding the landing grounds that the troops were about to storm. Meanwhile, the GA Eagles took off from the carrier, and set about bombing roads, railway lines, ammo dumps and any other target of oppurtunity they found.

As credonian naval forces approach AU, 10 airborne Credonian B-52 Stratofortress bombers flying at FL450 unload thier full bomb loads upon the capital city and the area surrounding the city.

The Praetonian Eagles turned and began their landing runs, first off loading any spare ordanance on to the beach, and landed quickly to be refueled and re-armed.

So far the Praetonian Naval forces had faced no opposition andthe landing craft were quickly readied. 1,000 men in landing craft, 1,000 men in hovercraft and 10 amphibious Scimitar MBTs were almost upon the beach, waiting to seeif any opposition would be mounted (OOC: This is an obvious hint to post your resistance, if any, although itshould be fairly minor as most of your troops seem to have retreated or been shelled to death).

The 1rst Division that was set up at the HQ 15 miles from the shores, began to shed tears as their leader spoke.

The Commander spoke over the loudspeakers with a certain sadness in the tone of his voice.

As the troops began to land on the beaches, the first few to disembark looked around and saw no opposition. The occasional bombed out pillbox, but no oncoming fire, no machineguns, nothing.

They advanced a little inland and waited there for further orders, ever protected by helicopter wings and newly disembarked tanks.

Meanwhile the Eagles were quickly re armed and refeuled, before being launched once again, thistime to find and destroy columns of retreating AU soldiers.

On a scouting mission, three GI's approach a burm. The Squad Leader takes out his IR device.
"There are a bunch of AU troops on that trail over there"

Hitting a few buttons on his radio, the Squad Leader entered the proper button for large enemy force spotted, then inserted the numbes for their grid marking, "Hopefully somebody will cap these guys"

Credonia has called his allys to react, what can I do?

Upon recieving word that coalition forces had made a beach head landing on AU shores, the order was given to begin the Credonian invasion.

The Credonian 43rd Marine Infantry Division, backed by air power from the 50 F-15E Strike Eagles of the 224th Fighter Squadron of the 25th Tactical Wing, 25 F-14 Ultra Tomcats of 1st Tactical FIghter Squadron from the 27th Strategic Wing, 50 AH-64 Apache Attack Helicopters, 30 KH-4 Raptor Attack Helicopters, and 10 EA-286 Knight Attack/Special Forces Transport helicopters from the 480th Tactical Chopper Squadron of the 19th Helicopter Wing begin moving onto AU shores. Little resistence is encountered as it seems the forces have withdrawn to the capital city which is currently under seige by coalition forces.

The beginning of the end of AU has arrived.

With the all out retreat to the Capitol city, around 1000 men were lost. Thanks to Gulag No 443, many men were saved in the retreat. It would only be hours before the Enemy Invasion Force would reach the city. The military wasn't as structured anymore. It seemed as if everyone was fighting for themselves, for one cause. And it was for that Star of David and the Jewish people.

Pillboxes and enormous sandbag bunkers were hastily built a few miles outside the capital. All bridges had been blown, and all farms had been burned as the men retreated.

Mines were set in certain places and traps were put in certain places.

With one last push, the AF was ordered to attack the shores of the Union in which the Enemy had set up on.

Screeching across the sky were 150 F16s heading towards the shores.

Sky Ranger 2 AWACS picked up a large blip on radar.
"Inform our Allies what appears to be a "Battle of the Bulge" is going to take place in the air" The ranking officer said. He then ordered the 25 old Hawk fighters of the DEGE AF to form up with the allied AF

Naval Officer: Sir! AWAC has picked up 150 planes of the F-16 configuration flying towards our position.

Admiral: Put all of our ships on high alert! Ready AA missile systems and launch ever Eagle we have. Inform all friendly helicopters and our men on the ground to set up their AA weapons. We're gonna give them one hell of a fight.

The Praetonian troops scattered into the woods, breaking up their numbers to minimize casualties. The Prometheus helicopters enabled their AWAC radar linkup and began tracking the targets, meanwhile the first 59 Eagles had taken off and the frigates and battleships off the coast were readying their missiles.

"Sirs!!!!!, We have enemy aircraft incoming!!!!!!!!!!"

The message was relayed to the Credonian aircraft carriers and ground forces already making their beachhead assault.

Within minutes Credonian long range AA sites were being positioned and locked onto incoming targets while approaching air forces begian taking attack positions. Back in the waters, fighters were taking off from aircraft 2 aircraft carriers to intercept the incoming bogies.

(# of planes taking off per carrier: 35 RF-11, 35 DD-3 Sabertooth, 5 S-3C Vikings, 10 ASW Sea King Helicopters, 10 DD-2 Infiniti).

The Fleet Air Arm had taken off. 59 planes, 236 missiles.

The 1st and 2nd helicopter wings were waiting. 70 helicopters, 140 missiles.

The fleet was readying. 18 ships, 500 missiles.

The Unionists were flying to their doom.

The Fleet Admiral of the Credonian 60th Carrier Division was notified of Preatonia's air presence against Acre Union.

"Order our boys to join up with them and shoot the bastards down"

Almost immediately, the leaders of each fighter squadron acknowledged the new orders and headed towards the Praetonian air forces to link up. Meanwhile the Admiral contacted the commander of their fleet.

"This is Fleet Admiral Matthew Susex of the Credonian 60th Carrier Division, ive ordered our guys to rendezvous with your forces and provide additional air support and added firepower, ETA: 2 minutes"

"Confirmed, Field Admiral Susex, we'll hold position until you arrive"

Seconds later, he spoke to the group,

"Airmen of the Praetonian Fleet Air Arm, we are about to go into battle with an enemy that out numbers us three to one. We are about to face the biggest air attack made against Praetonian forces in the entire history of our nation, but take comfort in the fact that our Credonian friends are with us, that our own Praetonian forces support us, and more importantly that we are fighting this war not for land or money, but for what is right!. To battle!!!!"

OOC: Well then.

Each and every ship, plane, helicopter and missile-armed soldier in the Praetonian force returned fire. Hundreds of missile streaked towards the enemy planes, as the Praetonian planes, inspired by the words of their Commander, surged forwards to take the fight to the enemy, 30mm cannon blazing.

Aware of enemy preparations, the F16s flew towards the enemy fleet without fear. Before coming into range of enemy AA guns, the F16s split into two. Half broke off to the left flank, the other half kept moving forward.

Once within range, the first division of F16s fired 1 missle each, before dispersing into a chaotic formation, as if they weren't in formation at all.

The 2nd division flew low on the left flank, with the intention of hitting the enemy from the back.

Immediately, Union F16s were going down. 18 went down with first contact, spiraling off into the sea.

The combat was gruesome and disordered because of the chaotic formation of Union F16s.

Praetonian Eagles were currently engaged in a deadly dog fight, with the Prometheus heliopters firing missile from a standoff postion. Eight planes had falled already, but those that remained were still firing, as were the ships, and the Credonians were there as well.

Credonian AA batteries locked onto the enemy planes and fired multiple missiles at the incoming bogies. In the air, Credonian F-15E and F-14 fighters engaged the enemy, firing their fire and forget missiles against them and quickly engaging the next target. It seemed the air battle would be easier than anticipated.

Whilst the air battle raged above them, the Praetonian division on the ground moved off to support their Ottoman friends, mobile SAM systems firing on any enemy plane that moved too close.

As the Praetonian and Ottoman forces neared the massive compounds of pillboxes and sandbag bunkers that were concentrate outside of Acre, heavy guns that seemed to be from every angle lit up the oncoming force.

With what little artillery guns the Union had, they were used to try and slow the enemy force, from behind the city wall.

The Praetonian forces took sporadic losses from the AU machinegunner squads, but many of them were shot themselves, or surrendered.

Praetonian Scimitar MBTs fired round after round of 135mm ammunition into the pillbox lines, and the troops spread out, firing at anyone they saw. Praetonian Artillery also fired at the city walls, miles away.

The 1st Special Forces Group of the DEGE ran into the groups of fighters, they were taken out by APC support. The Sky Ranger 2 Operating over the region had to withdraw because of fuel running low.

OOC: just a warning, Credonian forces are experts in guerilla warfare, we have foought against an illequipted uncoordinated, 3rd world country (somalia) for months and months and months and gained a crushing defeat against them using little less than 10,000 men (actually more like 5,000 even tho her had close to 20,000 men in there at the base)

As the Praetonian and Ottoman forces neared the massive compounds of pillboxes and sandbag bunkers that were concentrate outside of Acre, heavy guns that seemed to be from every angle lit up the oncoming force.

IC:A few fusch transports got seperated and ambushed by guerillasout of the 4 clanrat transports 2 were destroyed and the 1 stormvermin transport was undamaged. Imeadiatley after killing the transports the infantry gave chase. The stormvermin on board took leadership of the small party.

Credonian ground forces made their way towards the capital city to root out any remaining soldiers so this war could be ended quickly and swiftly.

President Sutton gives a briefing on the status of the war in Acre Union:

"Good morning ladies and gentlemen. It has been two days since the start of the war in Acre Union, and even longer since their unprovoked attack upon our peaceful allies and the war is drawing to a rapid close. Our forces are making their way towards the Capital city, which has been under coalition aerial bombardment with little to no disftractions due to our early seizure of air superiority. Our forces will continue on into the Capital, put down any unrests and move towards other cities, taking out military forces there. POW's will be transfered over to the control of Praetonia, at which time, they may do with them as they deem necessary Following the put down of unrest, Credonian Military Police will work with coaltion forces to police the cities. Main Credonian military forces will be withdrawn from combat. Since our allies were the ones attacked, we shall leave it up to them to decide the fate of this nation. We will, however, keep our forces within Acre Union if asked by our allies as they have our full military support in this endeavor.

As for Credonian casualties, im proud to announce that we have suffered none from combat, although we did have a plane downed due to mechanical malfunctions. The Crew of the helicopter were merely injured and are on their way back to Credonia. Thank you and god bless"

In the city, Praetonian forces had come up against the Government Compound, the only area so far that had put up much resistance. Praetonian and coalition troops held acordon around it, with Praetonian troops given orders not to go in.

Only an hour or so later, the massive air strike came. All 52 undamaged GA Eagles carrying bombs and missiles, as well as the Johorian Airforce flew into the area and unleashed hell. Hundreds of bombs were dropped from the Praetonian planes alone, and then the planes proceed to go on strafing runs with their 30mm cannon.

Once it was over, the Coalition wired a message asking if the Acre Union would like to surrender.

The President of Sanctus Respublica Do Fraalend marches his way down a beautiful corridor of marble and red carpet to a podium and begins his speech:
"People of Sanctus Respublica Do Fraalend. In the days ago, Fraalend has entered itself into a conflict between the nations of Acre Union, Ottoman Khaif, and Johor. If you would like to aid the people, that is fine, but we will not allow you to help their military. We hope that you make the right decision, for we wish for this war to come to a quick and swift end, with relatively few casualties. Your entrance into this war on Acre Union's side will only result in more lives being lost, and I can guarantee that.

What part of this attack was unprovoked dont you understand? He was a dictatorship, so what. AU went about dealing with the situation the wrong way. You dont just up and attack a nation for no reason without giving any arning or prior reasoning. If yoou have a problem, you apply diplomatic pressure. If that fails, then you proceed with invasion. In this case, the allied nations would probably not have come to the aid of the two attacked nations if justification for an attack was given, and chances are, they would pressure them to change their ways to avoid conflict, but that did not happen, which prompted a swift retaliation by allied forces. You guys have no since of diplomacy nor do you know how to conduce diplomacy, which gets you into situations such as this. Dont complain about your "friend" being destryed if he brought this upon himself.

Well, this situation wouldnt warrant a regime change or anything drastic like that, so I think we should impose military restrictions and have the AU government pay reparations to Johor (SP?) and Ottoman Khaif, as well as make a public apology to the international community. I would be satisfied with that. Then our troops can all go home.

I think we have taken enough reperations in blood and destruction. I say we reinstate his government, but strict limits on his airforce (since that was what was used to make the initial attack) and leave.

Well he needs to pay for the damage caused by his illegal bombings upon OK and Johor.

We feel that they have paid enough when we invaded their country, bombed their capital and destroyed their armed forces, but one thing that we would like is to see those who executed our POWs brought to justice.

Well i must still insist that they pay for the damage in which they caused. We did invade them in destroy most of their armed forces, but thta in my eyes was only a precautionary measure to ensure that the same thing would not happen again.

As for those who executed our POW's, it is our moral responsibility and our duty to our people and the the families who's relatives were executed, to bring them to justice for committing these hayness war crimes and acts of terror. I think the sentence for such an offence is either life in prison or death.
