GURIAN CITY - Dictator Anderson recently gave a spech in which he said he wanted for Gurian to become a technocracy (http://www.technocracy.ca). Dictator Anderson felt the change would "drastically improve the welfare of each Gurian citizen."
The decision is very controversial. "I don't trust this!" argues businessman Joe Winters. "It's just like communism! And we all know communism can't work!" While many dislike the idea, many others approve of it. "I strongly believe in a technocractic society," commented Kyle Welsh, a local professor. "I think the only reason people are worried is because it is so new. Once the first stages are implemented, everything will be fine. Quality of life will significantly rise and we will be much better off."
What will this decision mean for Gurian? A lot of hard work for the past few years as such integral parts of the society, like money, are removed. Will technocracy succeed? Many scientific studies have come up with answers ranging from technocracy causing a massive depression to technocracy elevating Gurian to the status of a superpower. Only time will tell the result.
