The rhine's large iron ore industry is in dire need of laborers. AS a result the light red german government has ordered the construction of work camps and forced labor to begin. IN order to benefit the economy, this work will primarily be made up of the unemployed an freeloaders.

Camps will be located through the Rhine and Ruhr river valleys.

Excellent. Keep up the good work. We hope to see a dramatic increase as a result of this.

Priminister Sieg supports this action and is hoping to introduce similar camps into his country.

The Praetonian Government issues a full condemnation of the actions of all of your governments. These blantant abuses of basic human rights will not go unnoticed by the International Community.

EDIT: Following The Commonwealth of McQuaide's announcement of a trade embargo, Praetonia has decided also to embargo all goods (other than food and medical supplies) going into LRG, and all goods coming out.

The Commonwealth of McQuaide joins Praetonia in offering a full and strong condemnation of the violation of basic human rights.

Furthermore, the Commonwealth of McQuaide annonces an immediate diplomatic and economic embargo against Light Red Germany. Although they may have camps to improve their productive capability, their available market for any goods has been reduced by one nation.

The Commonwealth of McQuaide calls upon all states to join us in this trade embargo by withdrawing diplomatic missions and ceasing all trade with Light Red Germany.

It's not really meant to harm you in any major way, it is merely an active form of condemnation just short of declaring war (which would be a bit over the top).

OOC: With a state my size, a trade embargo is simply the strongest reasonable negative responce that can be provided. Too small to field an offensive military force of any relevance, we rely on diplomacy.

Although I could invade them, it would be a massive over-reaction and it would most likely be beaten down by all the nations who are (inexplicably) defending them. Haven't you people heard of Nazi Germany or the Holocaust?

If you have any shred of decency you will repeal the action and start campaigning for more people to work in your factories, not force them to work like dogs. Build robots or something like that. Dont infringe on natural human rights. Or you could just give them free weed in the workplace and let them work then...

Suggest rather than freeloaders you use asylum seekers -- they work for less, and they aren't likely to go anywhere else (especially if you make them carry registration cards). They're also more accustomed to a work-camp/prison environment, and unless you allow them to vote, they won't support your Loyal Opposition.

I find this work unacceptable. However I will send all criminals ages 15-50 to your camps. I shall only send my criminals if you sebd me money for my disaster fund. (OOC: I am having a disaster in my country)
