Cax

Cax has begun research on a new type of battery, which Caxan scientists, with their usual lack of imagination, have named 'Superbatteries'. These will be able to carry a great many times the power of normal batteries, however, due to the technique used to manufacture them, the Superbatteries are very large - at least 1 metre cubed. This makes them impractical for, say, toys, but they will provide the power for most Caxan vehicles, replacing the earlier Hydrogen-Drive. It will also be able to be recharged from any nearby electicity supply, and have a slightly increased range compared to the H-Drive.
Emperor Virgilio today said: 'This drive had better bloody well work, it's costing me lots of money.' He was then shown a working model of a Hammer Tank equipped with the new battery. 'Good.', he said.
The research should take approxiamately 8 years to complete (I.e.: until the Thursday after this).
