After years of research with the three countries, Irondin, Ickypoo and Notquiteaplace cooperating the space project is finnally finished. Our shuttle will run satellites up twice a year, and will be replaced every 10 years. No weapons have been launched as it is in the agreement of the three states that none will be. Several weather sattellites, communications (ie TV and phines) sattelites and defensive satelites (observation with optical recognition and IR/UV scannin) which will provide extra "eyes" for the NQP misile and AA defence system will be included as well as one or two misceleaneous (OOC: *cough*spy*cough*) satellites will be launched also. the six crew are equally divided between the three nations and may undertake scientific research while up.

To the launch (camera shows external view of a shuttle the comms feed can be heard)

"This is control all readouts are green, everything is ready for lauch"
"okay control, we are ready here"
"Okay, good to hear, good luck people, lets begin the countdown"
"okay, all systems on, 10, 9 8, 7, ignition"
The engines begin to glow the flames begin to grow out of the boosters and shuttle.
"5, 4, 3, 2, 1.. we have liftoff"
The sound of cheers can be heard as the shuttle's boosters start properly and the rocket begins to lift off the ground amidst a mighty conflagration. The shuttle proceeds upwards accelerating quickly.
"Good luck and godspeed to you all"

THe shuttle peels away into the atmosphere and the scene cuts to the newsroom.
