SecretIC: The information from the probe served the technicians well. In the databanks there was virtually every shred of information about the energy and warp signatures of the TFU ships. Just as valuable were the markings on the ships.

In a massive and hollowed out asteroid, a loaned Akira class cruiser was undergoing a remarkable transformation. From an outsider's prospective, it merely appeared as though the ship was gaining a new coat of paint. The real changes were going on inside.

The technicians inside were working like bees, calibrating the vessel's warp core to emit a signature exactly like those of TFU Akira cruisers. They were busy remaking the ship for Operation: Takeback.

The exterior of the ship was repainted with TFU insignia and markings, making it appear as though it actually was a TFU ship, from visual inspection.

The modified warp and power signatures made it appear to be a TFU ship from internal inspection, or rather deep scanning as well.

Everything was prepared. The massive doors of the asteroid slid open with a creak, and the Akira was launched. She and her crew then made their way to the launching ceremony of the Brandoniats 'flagships.'

OOC: The attack is coming next post.

The Akira edged its way out of the asteroid, like a child leaving its parents for the first time. Activating its FTL engines, it sped off to Earth orbit, a brief few minutes away at a leisurely warp pace.

The Brandoniats ships were not expecting anything. The crew of the Akira knew that they would not be able to even moderately damage even onf of the Brandoniats Soverign class flagships, but that wasn't their goal. They were here to start a war that should have started a long time ago. The Brandoniat nation would declare war upon TFU, and through them would the rest of the allies have the justification to attack.

The Akira arrived right next to the targets. "Tactical! Fire at will! Full spread of torpedos and phasers!" The Captain yelled, his voice laced with tension.

Beams of accurate phaser fire errupted from the Akira, heading towards the Brandoniats ships. The Phasers schorched some of the hull plates on the Soverign ships, but did nothing more. No real damage was done, although by the amount of charring, it certainly appeared as though there would have been much more. (OOC: All for shock effect you understand. Not for actual damage.)

Dummy Torpedos were launched. They impacted upon the Soverigns' shields like fire under water: extinguished instantly, doing no damage. But the news crews recording the ceremony (and attack) would not know that. The people would demand retrubition for this heinous and first strike by 'TFU forces'...

"Helm! Take us out of here! We've done what we came for!" The Captain yelled. The Soverigns' own phasers, much more powerful than the ones mounted upon the Akira began tracking the ship, but by the time they were locked on target, the Akira had retreated.

It activated a cloaking device and returned to the place where it was modified, the astroid base. There, the technicians of the base repainted the Akira and removed the TFU warp signatures. They then sent the ship back to the government who had loaned it. The Brandoniats themselves. All the evidence pointed to directly towards The Federal Union as the culprit.

It would soon be time for war.

The asteroid base is heavily camouflaged, it just looks like a normal rock floating in the asteroid belt.

President Server was pacing the newly refurnished Star Office when an aide came rushing into the room with news of the "attack"!

"Mr. President. We have received word from the Swordfish! That is one of our cloaked vessels on patrol. According to her captain, a ship jumped into the system! According to sensors it was Identify as the Akira! It jumped in and just fired at some Brandoniats ships."

"WHAT!!!! What nation did that?" Server demanded.

"Unknown. However according to one of the news media that is monitored 24/7, it claims it was TheFedralUnion."

"Impossible. I know them! They would never do that. What nation is claiming this?"

"Central Facehuggeria sir."

"Never heard of them. But that doesn't matter. Send them a messege that, as Secretary of Defense of the UTA, I want to talk to them. I don't want this to go to war. Also, send a messege to the TFU. Give them a heads up on what to expect. When that is accomplished, i'm calling a meeting of our Joint Chiefs as well as the Cabinet. We may have to prepare for war. Also get intel on this while your at it. I want to know who did this dasterdly deed. Is that clear?"

"Yes sir. I'll get right on it. Sir, if I may ask, how bad is this going to get?"

"Unless war is avoided, very bad. Which is why you better get this done."

"Yes sir." the aide concluded and walked out of the room towards the communciations room.

TacCom watched the situation closely, keeping watch for any sign of war.

"The Ancients were kind enough to leave us this technology..."

The supercomputer turned its attention to the small biological, its mood brightening. "No, Lady Adjuctant. It is our technology to begin with.

The young woman smiled. "I do hope war doesn't erupt. It could put a serious damper on our plans, couldn't it?"

"Yes, Lady Adjuctant. If a war erupts, the Biologicals may find that we have Hyperspace Fold technology, and that we are expanding. This is unacceptable."

After the unexpected attack on the Enterprise, things were in shambles. Despite the phaser fire doing little damage, it still shook the crew around. The leader of Crazed Marines, as well as the CEO of Northrop Grumman. They were just as worried. Immediately after the attack, Marcus had contacted Starfleet Command, telling them what had happened. The only response he got was that the attack was unforeseen. Strange.

(FYI, even the captain doesn't know what is happening

Mutiply Sats watched the attack, they were moved just moments befor the ship opened fire. the images were shown on the 6pm news clearly showing TFU markings on the attacking vessal.
The emperor looked at the report, he looked down he didnt belive it but the proof so far showed it.

"aye sir" they replyed, the ship entered hyperspace exiting on the dark side of the moon half an hour later, it opened fire fireing the Photon torpedos hitting the moon colony. it fired 3 torpedos then left at the colony completely deverstating it then it jumped out, about 3 minutes later a News ship exited by the moon.

OOC: officaly the stigmata ships are not real, they have no markings they have Bio armor and are vary stelthy, they look like the advanced Omega. theres only 2 of them tho.
tho this dont prove that TFU attack it would raise eye brows

The Captain of the Swordfish continues to pace around the ready room when his senior staff walks in for the morning briefing. All of their faces were somber.

"People, I'm sure by now that you have all heard of the attack. According to what we have gathered, the evidence points to TFU but I don't buy this arguement. We all know that the TFU as well as the UTA wouldn't attack without provocation. The Secretary of Defense of our planet as well as The Secretary of Defense of the UTA, our leader, have both started an investigation into this incident. Our orders is to search the rubble and gather what we can."

"Not in this case since it involves an ally. Make no mistake. I want this ship combat ready. If there is a scrape, I want us to come out on top. That means we go in cloaked and stay cloaked as we do our investigation. Use the transporters to beam as much debris as possible for this purpose."

When the messege was sent, the ship went to cloaked status and moved in to do some investigating. Their sensors move to passive mood and the weapons are on standby just incase they are needed.

DESC liberty exited Hyperspace it moved round orbit of the earth, it was scaning the area.

Around the moon the DESC Right hand,Moscow and Ravan exited hyperspace along with the hosbital ship Hope.
Investergation teams were sent down to the wreaked colony, after about 6 hours they returned.

"That is correct. Apparently there have been two attacks in all of this but our primary concern is finding out who did it. With that in mind, we are going to investigate."

"Sir" his chief of Tactics said, "in order to do that, we are going to have to jump in sooner than expected and make contact with these races."

"Correct, however their is a complication to our orders. Our orders also state that we have to back our allies up."

"Sir, I scanned that area. Corpsac is in the area, one of our allies, as is The Fedral Union, another ally. Those two sides don't like eachother. What happens if it turns into shooting? Who do we attack?"

"Leave that to me. You just follow my orders. With that in mind....."

"Sir one other thing" Tactics said. "How many ships are jumping in?"

"Just this one."

"I say we take the Titan with us. That way we have two warships. Two warships are better than one."

"I agree. With that gentlemen. Dismissed."

When they returned to their stations, they immediately prepared for duty. Moments later, the orders were sent to the rest of the fleet telling them to hold position and to the Titan. Within minutes, Both the Titan and the Destructor jumped into the system!

OOC: As the other thread was ignored, my fleet never left the Sol system.

IC: The CFV Pwnzor slowly moved her monsterous, 4 1/2 kilometer legnth towards the ship that the CorpSac forces had graciously detected for them.

The ship's weapons began charging, fusion torpedos were being loaded, and fighters were being prepped for launch. A message was also sent to CF space command, informing them of the interloper. Should the Dreadnought fail to achieve victory (an unlikely possibility, but still possible), several more ships would be deployed.

"Captain! We're getting a message from Space Command, it says that we are to get right up close to the enemy, but not fire unless fired upon. If its a TFU ship, we're supposed to get whatever scans we can, to confirm wether it was that ship that attacked our allies." A young Com-Tech said.

"Alright. Do so. But make sure the shields are fully charged. If they attack us, I want a proper response ready." The Captain said, weighing his possible options.

"Aye sir!" A young ensign replied.

Elsewhere;

Two more of the monsterous Dreadnoughts began taking up positions near the site of the attack. It was being investigated by both Brandoniats teams, and CF teams. No one else would be allowed to touch it without the consent of the Brandoniats government.

(hehe I said it disrups any Scanners and i mean any scanners the plorons can disrupt any scanner unless you have a ploron disupertion feild witch when in reverse can really screw up a ship hehe also like i sai not even thermal sensors would work unless my ship moved and usering Tellpaths Ha you dont think i would have P-12's on all my ships during war time humpf any way :)

My people aren't looking for another war but we will fight one if necessary. As for the rest of the ships, and that includes TFU and all ships involved. Hayes was stopped, trying to figure out what the sound was. He was a sitting duck. Smith's cloaking device ran out of energy, it had only been rated for a couple of hours. He was now entirely visible, and right next to the startled diplomat.

He bit down on his right molar, causing the organic explosive inside to detonate, completely vaporizing himself and knocking Hayes back a couple of meters.

Hayes' head was cocked an an unnatural angle, his neck broken. He was quite dead.

It would not take a genius to predict the CF Government's reaction to such an action...

They led Rethanik up the stairs to the Commander's office.

With the explosion on board the AGECS Destructor, the rest of the First Battlegroup fromed a circle around her. The destroyers are in a position to intercept all ships approaching for scanning as well as for permission to enter into the heart of the fleet. The cruisers are in stand by mode as well as the battleships. The Carriers have their fighters on trigger alert, able to launch at a moments notice.

Admiral Server sits in the conference room waiting for the Brandoniats rep to appear.

"'This is Admiral Server to the Brandoniats representative. Please report to the conference room. We need to talk between us before everyone else arrives.'" He looked at his aide. "This is going to get worse before it gets better."

"I agree sir. Nothing we can do at the moment but wait this out. Hopefully we can stave off this war."

"I doubt we can but we can minimize it! The longer we stall this war, the more forces we can muster for our allies defense."

"If you doubt sir, then why..."

"then are we holding these talks? Because it is my hope that we can find a peaceful solution but my instincts is telling me that someone is pushing for this war. Any word from intel about all of this?"

"None in the last batch of reports. We should be getting another update in about 2 hours."

"Bring it to me when it comes in. I don't care if we're in the middle of talks, just send it to my padd."

"Roger that sir. Shall I escort the Brandoniats rep here?"

"Would you. I want him here. I think we can negiotate with him better than with Central Facehuggeria."

"I agree too sir. If you excuse me." When he nodded the aide left the room to escort the representative to the conference room. Admiral Server sighs heavily and waits for him to arrive as well with the rest of the governments representatives.

"What the hell is going on!!"
He hadn't giver the mediator a chance to breathe when he burst out again.
"I'm calling my government. I'm going to ask they send one of the Sovereigns to escort this conference."

Admiral Server looked up as the Brandoniats rep finished talking.

"You don't have to do that. My fleet will defend this ship." Server shot back. If you doubt the capabilities of this fleet, I can give you a quick demonstration of what this fleet can do. Trust me sir, my fleet is the most advanced in my nation's military and more ships are being built as we speak. Please sit down and lets start to discuss this."

If a war comes (I'm not sure I'll push for it anymore, as I don't really have as much time as I did when I started this), it would probably be better for you to start it quickly, before I finish several of the secret projects I've got in mind. :)

If we could destroy it before it left the Sol system and make it look like The Federal Union committed that act..." Base Commander Alrich thought for a moment, before announcing his request.

IC: In the CF capital, Facehugger City;
"My leader, we have finished fortifying the country. The national defense grid is up and running. The fleet is standing by. The Mobile Infantry are fully currently drilling." General Hermann reported to Furher Gustav.

"And what of the Starscream, Nova, and Vigiliance projects? Those are my aces in the sleeve, and I need them" Gustav said. he wis Privy to virtually all secret projects in the nation, except for the arguably most important one: Operation:Takeback, which is meant to incite war.

"They are all going fine. The Starscream project is just entering prototype phase, the Nova project is ready to be tested, we just merely need to find an uninhabited system, but the Vigiliance project is falling behind schedule. Perhaps we need more 'persuasive' methods." Hermann said.

"Two out of three ain't that bad. Tell the fleet to begin switching the combat simulation programs from 'random alien species' to 'TFU'. I want the fleet ready for the war which they have wantonly provoked." Gustav ordered.

General Hermann made a quick bow and left the room. The General was not a holdover from the benovelent socialist government that had ruled before. He was a cold product of the National Socialist party. He had no compuncions against using any means to achieve victory, even if it means bombarding enemy colonies with Genebuster bombs or other WMDs.

in the colony an Stigmata agent walk to a building, he looked round he wasnt worried but still....when he got there he knew what to do.
he looked round then pulled something out of his pocket and placed it in the trash bin then went in the building. 3 hours later he walked out as soon as he walked round the corner of the block there was a massive explostion, the building he just left was ablase but it didnt matter what he left behind would frame the UTA, it was simple Photon charge with a UTA (not TFU) signeture.

a few hours later after the blaze was sorted and the investergation teams had finished, they found a Triger it was of UTA design. after a few hours the finding were handed to the DEPC after that to the media.

earlyer today at 3am Mars time a bomb had exploded at the DESC space recruitment center destroying the building. after a short investergation it was found that the explosives used were of UTA design its rumered that rebals that were loyal to the UTA are now useing now as an excuse to start a rampage of tarror.

Meanwhile, near the TFU Border, one of the Corneliuan Cloak Ship Squads jumped in. When they did, they immediately started to use their passive sensors. As they got closer to the border, they picked up a fleet signature. The captain of the wolfpack moved his forces in to investigate the signature.

"Captain" his sensor officer said. "I've identified the fleet. It Gronde?"

"Gronde? I thought they were having problems?"

"Apparently they solved it. Sir, I'm detecting two fleets. Sir, I think we need to warn TFU!"

"Comm, send a messege. Tell TFU to prepare for assaults. I'll tell you what to type."

May I ask why you'd ignore bioweapons? (I'm not actually planning on using the IG virus, that was just a joke. But I would like to use some other bioweapons.)

If nukes are allowed but bioweapons aren't, then I might just have to gas TFU worlds instead of infecting them with various nasty viruses, such as weponized ebola and plague. Or I'll just borrow some dessicators from DGNT. :winkL

Refugee ships from the empire were makeing there way to other space, Corneliu TFU CF all of the normal places. the only difference was that on 4 of the ships heading towards Corneliu and TFU were host of the Xenomorph were on they didnt know it and wouldnt for a long time.

"The CFV Starscream is complete, but has not seen battle yet. The Nova project is also complete, but as I said before, we need an uninhabited system to test it on. The Vigilance station is 95% complete. She can still defend the nation, if needed, but she won't be up to full combat effectiveness until we add in the shield generators and auxiliary reactors." The aide replied.

"I want that station completed NOW! If the UTA attacks, what defense will we have? They have a huge number of ships, and the national defense grid, in its current form cannot hope to defeat their entire fleet. We need that superfortress up and running!" Gustav yelled suddenly, frightening the aide.

lol, my government is concerned with flexing our military muscles and gaining more territory while, at the same time inspiring some imperial/national pride in our people. Mainly the military muscles. :twisted:

Meh, I'm not concerned about them. My army is much better equipped than the Colonial Marines were. My men also aren't dangerously overconfident. :)

(OOC: I haven't had a chance to RP the conquest of one of his ships, which would have been the crowning achievement in subterfuge. At the moment, I've got my hands full planning for my Premier's return in a brand spanking new body, and I'm also trying to repel Imperial Brits' Shivans from my nation. If someone else wants, they can try and take over a TFU ship, and have it attack the convoy. It only has very light escorts, and lots and lots of innocent civilians.)
