Ther termination mechanism is biologically based and is not affected by electromagnetic pulses. On the unit appearances and modifications thereof, at the moment we cannot make such changes with out current units. They are created from clonal cell nuclei and at the moment, we do not have the technology to modify these genes that would result in any predictable appearance. Although we know what all the genetic sequence and all the known genes, at the moment we believe that certain "looks" result from a complicated expression of multiple genes that are regulated by imprinting mechanisms. Regarding CRIR breeding ... we usually do not breed these units, they are all developed from the same cell type through nuclear-cell transfer technology and are not bred with PRIS units. They can however be bred to any female so you may breed them to whomever you or they desire. However, the CRIR units carry a genetic trait which results in unit termination at the age of 30. Since this trait is autosomal dominant it is transferred to the offspring even if a CRIR unit breed with a normal female -- the offspring would also die at 30 years.
