Allanean Ministry of Interior Official Announcement

As it is known, after the conquest of The Prophet (Now Nortonia Province) we have sold off a large proportion of Goobergunchian government property, yielding about 1.5 trillion in funds. However, that is not enough.
Due to recent downsizings, the Allanean government, having closed down 90% of it's prisons due to use of their inhabitants in Penal Battalion, is selling off the facilities, sufficient to house 3,000,000 individuals, to the highest bidder.
Furthermore, the government is selling 25,000 Edolian assault rifles seized in the war, and 40,000 TIS assault rifles on the same terms.
Moreover, we are selling of 40,000 tons of steel (burnt-out tanks and similar) as scrap at the same terms.

While generally the war has been an economic boon to the Allanean people (any losses of civilian property were compensated for by the Edolian), the Allanean government has been greatly financially strained. It is to that end that we sell off the equipment.

Any voluntary donations are also gladly accepted.

IC:We have allocated 4.2 Billion USD to Allenea after the recent war, however we must say that this is not a gift to use for buying weapons, we would hope that the money would be invested slightly more wisely.

The Free Republic of Ilek-Vaad would like to offer to purchase the Prophet area from Allanea for 12Trillion DR (1DR=1.8165USD). We will then move to allow the people of The Prophet to form their own free government. It is disgusting how the nations in the Accord/UnAPS conflict move land and people back and forth like possessions without giving the people of these lands the right to self determination. It is especially aggregious that Allanea received these lands as the war was allegedly about Axackal 's self-determination.

The sale of this land by Allanea would do a great deal to restore our battered faith in the Allaneans commitment to peace, self-determination and liberty.

OOC: according to the NSEconomy info the government of Ilek-Vaad has an annual budget of 64 trillion USD, with a consumption of 60 trillion USD. It would be no problem for the Free Republic to finance a huge sum like 12 trillion DR.
