A celebration took place today, marking the instatement of Valeriya Ivanov as the president of Rhanafka. The celebration consisted of a parade through the streets of Valhallek, the country's capital. The parade was headed by two T-55 tanks, adorned with the country's flags and ribbons of the national colours. An armoured personnel carrier was the throne for the nwe president, who spent the time smiling and waving to the crowds who lined the route from her previous home, to the presidential palace. A band followed, playing the national anthem, and armed guards protected the president and her entourage as the crowds fell into the street, cheering and yelling greetings. No major incidents occured, and no actions against the crowds were needed.
Upon arrival at the presidential palace, Ivanov immediately sent a telegram to all interested nations to an invite to an official inauguration party, where national alliances are thought to be a main agenda.
