We need some type of completly useless resource so that we can change it into titalium. We have all we need but this. It has to be a metal though

Perhaps but unless he has asimov style nuclear converters (or star trek replicators) you can't change anything bar titanium ore into titanium...
Of course i could sell titanium ore or one of the different processed forms and alloys...
