After extensive consultations with the Imperial Government, the Imperial Bank of Roycelandia, and the Governor-General of Coral Palm Island, it has been decided that Coral Palm Island shall declare itself a Tax Haven.

All Banks on the Island will be required to observe the strictest confidentiality laws, and no information of any kind regarding financial transactions to, from, or on the Island will be made available to any Government, Taxation, or Law Enforcement department/agency, regardless of Nationality.

The Roycelandian Government recognises CPI as a tax haven, and will not attempt to levy or collect taxes from the Banks and Financial Institutions.

OOC: In other words, if you're looking for a discreet, no questions asked place to store or launder your questionable finances, Coral Palm Island is the place to do it...

EFFOC is intrested in opening a bank on Coral Palm Island, though of course in another organisations name.

It's good isn't it? And since all the money earned as a result is untraceable, we can use it for financing various projects, operations, ad whatnot, without it appearing on any Parliamentary Budget... :D

At IHIA Headquarters several high profile spooks were discussing the possibility of using accounts in Roycelandia to fund arms deals for groups that the government could not officially sponsor. Most nobatle of these were the ARP in Aust who were trying to install the rightful emperoress Bea.

"I agree" said Operations, "The fewer people that know of it the fewer can leak it to the press"

Intelligence and Finance nodded. Finance slightly more so than Intelligence, as this would make his job, of keeping certain deals secret, a lot easier.

"Ok then. We will set up an account, personally though. Jim get somebody on it. No links. The money will be transferred from these three accounts firstly" he handed over three slips of paper with the account numbers on them. "Oh and make a brief contact through backhand channels firstly to make sure that this will be ok" he finished.

One of the more reputable Banks on CPI- the Imperial Bank of Roycelandia, well known for discretion even outside CPI- has indicated that for a fee... say, 1% of the value of all transactions through the account, they would be delighted to open and maintain any account for any person who wished to engage their services...

Where it my own money I would probably go for the higher risk higher return but the tax payers would be livid should we actually lose on this venture, as such we will be taking the guaranteed 6.14%. We would like the private account so please TG us our code. Once we have our code and account we will TG you the amount we plan on depositing.
