Exploshions rocked the capital city of Nod early this morning during rush hour in the buisness district while citizens were transeting to work. Minutes later a blast tore through Central Square. Thirty people are believed dead from the blast and over one hundred injured. This comes only a day after the liberation and re-unification of Uriel which had been freed from the opressive despots that had ruled the nation for over fifty years.

Witnesses to the first attack claim they saw a military grade jeep speed through a traffic light towards a gas station and immidetly detonated upon collision with the station. Shards of metal, glass, and bursts of flame ripped through the streets piercing through vehicles and melting street signs to the ground.

Boris Volik, a banker heading to work at Central Square told us he saw several men in uniform hop out of a van armed with assault rifles. A police officer approched the men and he was shot down. Seconds later the van exploaded, ripping through a bus that was passing by and destroying several shops and buildings.

Several people have put blame on the nation of Largent for the attack, a nation that opposes the liberation movement that Lorkhan has sworn to follow. Other citizens claim the attack is similar to the methods of the former Akarthian reich's extremist group which has most likely taken refuge in the war torn territory of Aden.

Emperor Erik Kain had this to say:

"We are not sure who it is that commited this heinous crime. But be assured, our top security members and investigators are investigating the crime as we speak. If this attack has indeed been commited by the peoples of Largent the people of A.I.S will not stand by and let this criminal act go unpunished. Whoever it is that has commited this heinous act, whoever it is that goes against the ideals of peace, freedom, and unity...know that we will find you, and you shall you shall know our form of justice!"

Grand General of the Defense Ministry also spoke on the situation;

"I have my suspicions that the attackers came from the eastern region of Aden. I have ordered troops to press into Aden and hunt down the terrorist cells that supported this heinous act. Due to the current state of anarchy in Aden, our movement into the region is completly legal. We will use all of our resources to find out where these attackers came from and who they are."

Unfourtinetly none of the terrorists directly involved in the attack survived, and the corpses found are burned beyond recognition. However one man suspected of being involved was picked up an hour after the attack at Nod's A.N.T Airport. He is currently under questioning.

We are not aware of their religion, in fact we do not even know if this is a religious attack.

Several suspects have been picked up and from interogation we have discovered that the attackers did in fact come into our nation through the northern territory of Aden. Our military has pushed into the territory and declared a state of martial law.

Intelligence so far leads us to believe that this is an attack from former Akarthian party members that wish to see our nation in turmoil rather than peace and unity. However; we have not ruled out the possibility that this attack has been ordered by nations such as Largent that wish to intervene in our quest for unity.

The Federation of Grand Stafford has sent 5,000 troops and a small contingent of our MECHA division for peace keeping purposes. We hope that these two nations can settle things like adults rather then children, and avoid war at all costs.

Lorkhan would be proud to accept your peace keeping envoy, and we are doing everything we can to make certain we do not end up in a war.

Lorkhan is also proud to announce that the orchastraters of the attacks have been found and rounded up. Akarthian terrorists planned the attack and hoped to fool us into war with Largent. This is terrible, and shows exactly what kind of people used to rule this nation. It shows exactly what kind of people ruled in Uriel and Aden before their liberation, and it shows exactly what the other territories must suffer.

Exact numbers will be released to the Lorkhan government before the troops procede into hostile territory.

You will not enter our country. We and the A.I.S are more than capable of handling our own nation and the terrorists that are within it's boarders.

If you step foot into our nation, it will not be the Lorkhan Military that you would have to worry about, but the 16+ million citizens that do not want you here. Anex the country? Just one problem. Who are you going to rule? Clearly not the people. Hard to rule a nation when all of the people in the nation hate you and want you dead. So what then would you suppose? Kill the entire population?

The Servants of Peace stand by to send medical aid if requested. We are also able to provide food and temporary shelters with the proviso that the materials go to citizens and not combatants.

Go to all corners of the Earth, go to Mars, go to Coruscant even! But you will not come here so long as we have an efficiant military force to deal with the internal problems.

According to interogations, the animals took the oppertunity to attempt to disguise themselves as members of Largent's military force. They hoped that we would go to war with Largent to hurt the people and the nation. Their understanding is this; If they are not oppressing our people, than let blood rain down on them form all corners of the globe.

We will endorse the idea of diplomacy before war as any just leader should, but Largent we have told you not to enter our boarders for any reason, and that is what we will live by.

MMI firmly supports Lorkhan in dealing with their own internal affairs.

Largent will no longer comment or take action in this affair. We offered help, it was rejected, we will not persue this any further although we would like to establich better relations with Lorkahn and MMI.

MMI would indeed like to begin diplomatic relations with Largent. This is a good turn in the right direction for all our countries. We propose building mutual embassies in our countries as a beginning.
