OOC: First off, I am the ANL, this is not some nOOb.

Secondly, for more background information, check the last page of http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=122642&start=0

IC:
They came by the tens, hundreds and thousands. Thosands of rebels from the ANL arrive in the Tomez Militia as part of a deal with the self-exiled rebels - the Tomez Militia will give assylum and housing to the rebels while the rebel Aztecs would either be cheap labor resources or military grunts. The Tomez Militia was continuing the anti-communist movement among the rebels. Although there were only 5,332 rebels still surviving from their failed coup, those who believed in the moralistic and anti-communist cause could not be any more zealous. The rebel leader, battered, muddy but still standing proundly in his flak jacket and camaflouge fatigue spoke to his contigent of supporters:

"We might have been defeated by our evil Soviet brothers, we might have been defeated by the immoral communist regime of our homehand, but we still promise to fight our hated enemies and overthrow their hypocritical anti-capitalist, over free system and entill a system of law and order and the freedom of the free market. We might have been defeated now, but we will be victorious later, we will win, we will win, we will win! We and our new allies, our new brothers of the Tomez Militia will help us win, whether it be through peaceful victory, a sucessful war or encouraging a second revolt by the people!"

The president of the Tomez Militia walked up to the rebel leader, shook hands and talked to the contingent:

"My friends! My friends, we are tkaing steps against the Union as we speak. It is my duty, along of that of yours to fight the evil communsitic system and create one of morality, law and order and freedom of buisness. Yes, you Aztecs will have a hard role in our society, but it is your role in this greater society. We will win against our common enemy, and it is this enemy that will let us put our differences in the past behind us and unite us to fight the evil system we want to destroy!"]

Within five hours, the parlament passed several bills, which call for sanctions against the ANL, build up the military and a secret plan to begin building nuclear weapons and other WMDs. Also, 3/5 of the "refugees" are drafted into the military while the others are placed into hard labor, factory and agricultural jobs.

Tenóchitilan, Aztlan...

The Premier read the report of the major rebel migration to the Tomez Militia and leaned back in his chair. He looked out of his office at the Statue of the Revolution, it's gold, silver and bronze art work shining in the bright Aztec sun. How could our own people defect the Tomez Militia, the people who oppresed the Aztecs through slavery and tyranny? It was beyond comprehension. Now, to deal with this new threat, the civil war is over, but now a new war might be brewing, even a Cold War will be bad for the Union. The Premier stood up and he knew what he had to do, the ANL will not be intimidated, even if the Militia somehow gets some allies. He sent this telegram to the allies of the ANL:

[code:1:5a28f811b6]Comrades,
There is a new situation that is brewing that needs urgent attention. A anti-communist nation and long time foe of the Aztec people have taken the rebels of our civil war as defectors and is beginning a campagin against us, I need your support.

Premier Quetzalcoatl[/code:1:5a28f811b6]

Immediately, the Premier put the nation on red alert. The military was mobilized and he Premier televised a speech:

"The honorable and valient people of the Democratic Prolitariat Union, we have been able to put the terrible civil war behind us, but those who have been defeated are unsatisfied and want it to go on. They chose a dishonorable route of slavery and oppressive government and have defected to our long time nemisises, the Tomez Militia. We will not strike at our new enemies, we will not stand complacent. I ask our allies and the international community to put sanctions against the Tomez Militia, and also to support us in this situation. We have never meant any harm to anyone before, but we will not be intimidated by our enemies."

---Somewhere out in the open ocean---

ANL Heavy battle cruiser Tenóchitilan, light cruiser Iztapia and the assult cruiser Veracruz move swiftly through the calm ocean...

Tomez Militia frigate Justice, dreadnaught Superior and heavy battle cruiser Chabot power up and move to intersept the ANL fleet.

Aboard the SAS Tenóchitilan...

"Sir! We detect three ships, 10 km and closing in fast!" Yelled out the radar officer. "We have no reports of other ships in this sector, and they appear to be war ships, as they are too large to be anything else."

The Captain looked at the radar screen and saw the three green blips. He knew this could not be good, any nation would have given notice to the ANL, they were only 12 km from the coast of Mazatlán, a major shipping and naval center for the ANL. Something wasn't right, three warships, on a intersept course for the ANL fleet and only miles away from Aztlán itself.

"Alright, notify ANL command of the situation, request Typhoon-II and Los Angeles class Submarine backup. Tell the fleet to go to condition red, we might be facing a new enemy." Ordered the captain.

"Sir, hate to make situations worse, but it seems there is a Aztec Freighter Convoy also being dogged by the three warships."

"Get there with more haste, then."

--1 1/2 HOURS LATER--

The ANL fleet slowed down to see the three ships and the ANL Convoy.

"From the looks of it, I would say the hostiles are a battleship, a frigate and a heavy cruiser, possiblely and battle cruiser. They are following the convoy and from what it looks like, they are trying to board our freighters. Incomming transmission from the convoy. It's printing out now."

The print out read:

"THIS IS ANL CONVOY 213...
NEED ASSISTANCE>UNDER HOSTILE ATTACK, POSSIBLE BOARDING>
WE ARE CARRYING VITAL SUPPLIES FOR INDUSTRIAL AND AGRICULTUREAL BENEFIT."

Clutching the print out, the Captain typed this message to the hostile vessels...

"CEASE YOUR ATTACK NOW, THIS IS AZTEC BATTLE FLEET 1-A. LOWER WEAPONS AND RETREAT NOW OR WE WILL FIRE UPON YOU. YOU HAVE 2 MINUTES TO BEGIN DEPARTING OR ACTION WILL BE TAKEN AGAINST YOU."

--In the Tomez Militia Battle fleet--

The Naval Marshall stood at the impresive ANL fleet. While techologically superior, the ANL fleet did not have a battleship with them.

"Maximum alert, all hands prepair for battle, move to confront the fleet instead, the commie scum will not miss them as much as thier presious battle fleet. Prepair a warning shot and fire it only a couple of meters off of their port side."

The Militia fleet moved off and confronted the ANL ships. The battleship's main turret turned in the direction of the Tenóchitilan and...

"FIRE!"

A earsplitting boom, then a shell was propelled over the Tenóchitilan. As the heavy shell crashed into the sea, the resulting explosion rocked the ANL fleet.

25-05-2004, 05:40
The Tenóchitilan shook severely as the shell blew up close to the ship. In the bridge, some of the digital tactical displays blew out in a furoy of sparks.

"RETURN FIRE, MACHINE GUNS ONLY! ALERT ANL COMMAND!" Yelled out the captain.

Immediatly, the ANL fleet opened fire. Bullets began to rittle the Militia ships. It seemed like a new war was comming.

However, before the Tomez Militia ships could attack back, several contacts were made, the Submarines were here. Also, radar detected the ANL flagship, the battleship Aztlán was comming.

In the brigde of the Militia fleet flagship...

"Sir, more contacts comming in, all Aztec. Sir, we are serriously outnumbered and out gunned. I suggest we back off."

"If we go to war, I want to win the first battle, alright, tell the fleet we are backing off, transmit this message to the ANL ships." Yelled ou the Marhsall.

[code:1:d44da9d137]
Alright, good move ANL, but I warn you, be aware, we will not sit quiet for long. When we meet again, we will be victorious. The Tomez Militia will triumph over your Aztec warriors and your Soviet scum government.[/code:1:d44da9d137]

The Tomez Militia fleet began to move away.

Now, we will send the 1st and 2nd Brigade of the 10th Division (8,000 men) to help in the effort. The troops will be crewmembers of the Nimitz Class Nuclear Powered Aircraft Carrier, the 2 Arleigh Burke guided missile AEGIS Destroyers, and the 70 Joint Strike Fighters F-35.

"Alright, let's get one of our Typhoon-II submarines to follow that fleet. Tell them to activate their catipillar drive and follow them under the strictest of stealth conditions. At the first sign of trouble, they are to depart immediatly and try to lose attention by going deep into the sea."

The Premier gave out this following address:

"We are facing a troubled time, my brave Aztecs. Economic troubles, problems in the Caribean, and now problems with the Tomez Militia. We almost went to war today because of the aggressive actions of the Militia, and it shows how hostile they are. Our true natures have been exposed, we had the right to defend ourselves, they had no right to attack us. So, I issue out this last warning to the Militia: Do not, I repeat, do not even get near our land of Aztlán, any ANL ship, man, woman or child with harmful intent or we will declare war."

CC-1, A newly commoisoned Communications ship cruised through the calm waters just within sight of the Aztec Coast. Flying a UKN Peacufull Intent flag, it could be mistaken for nothing, as it was just a Recon Craft on Patrol.

Inside CC-1 "Echo";

Captain: "Make sure you alert me if we see any Ships or Aircraft."
Radar Officer: "Aiy-Aiy Captain!"
Comms Officer: "Our main Commlik is picking up a Message"
Captain: "Punch up on the Main Comms Screen"

A small frigate moved gently through the calm waters. The ship barely rocks back and forth. In the bridge, the small bridge crew worked away, finishing up patrol duties.

"Found anything interesting yet?" Asked a young ensign.
"No, nothing. The radar on this thing is very limited, though." Said his friend, looking into screen.
"They should have the rest of the fleet upgraded to the improved sensor system in a week or so."
"Yeah, but with the economy bottoming out, I doubt Command would prioritze the upgrading of a micro-sized frigate. Heck, the wake from the Aztlán would completely engulf this ship with water. Wait, I think we have something...another ship."
The commanding officer walked over to the station and looked on the green screen. It looked like a cross between Tetris and a old game called BattleTank. He then turned to the helm and re-set the course to intersept the new contact. He also sent out a message:

[code:1:b212fbe73a]
Unidentified vessel, you are only a few miles from the ANL mainland. Please identify yourselves and state your reason for being so close to the main land. Embarrasment, anger, malise. That described the feelings of the Tomez Militia's president and high council. The Conservative Moral Republic was shocked and outraged by the defeat and could not tolerate another failure. It was time to humble and shame the Union.

"Alright, what can we get on them?" The president said, leaning back in his chair, smokeing a cigar.

"Not much. The ANL has much respect from the entire international community, is a UN delegate nation and has a great record on civil and political rights. Their economy collapsed a couple of weeks ago, but it seems like it's making a slow comeback." On of the advisors said.

Another advisor spoke "Wait, they are part of the UN and are devoted to human rights. Also, their economy is working better ever since they started that perestrokia type program that allowed for regulated private enterprise. I believe the Premier's brother owns a jewlry import-exporting sho also. This means we can hit them hard!

"What are you talking about, you're making no sense!" Yelled out the other advisor.

"No, wait. If your thinking what I am thinking, we have a plan that will make the ANL look corrupt and hypocritical." Said the president, leaning forward.

OOC: Alright, I need one of the ANL's close trading allies to help me out here. If you are interested, t-gram me. Remember, I am the same player that controls the ANL, so...

Alright...Time to get this started again...

--Veracruz International Seaport--

A man in a dresshirt, slacks and trench coat wacthed a monitor connected to a video camera over looking the harbor. The air conditioning unit hummed gentley while the agent of the Aztlan Intelegence Agency (AIA) looked on at the screen. The camera switched to a restricted area, where the agent saw four men walking quickly towards the port. The people were not wearing uniforms and seemed to be walking with a certain quickness. This could not be good. The Agent fliped a switch, turning on a silent alarm. He then opened the door, grabbing his standard issue .44 Magnum on the way out.

Within 5 minutes, the agent was right behind the four men. He pulled out and drew his gun and yelled "FREEZE! YOU ARE IN A RESTRICTED AREA!" The four men stopped and answered back "Who are you, what authority do you have?"

"I'm Special Agent Jorge Garza, AIA." Immediatly, the four men pulled out handguns and began firing. Outnumbered, Agent Garza jumped behind a building. He hit a button on his Walkie-Talkie and the air sirens went off. Over the loud speaker, a vioce came over "SECURITY BREACH! ALL AGENTS AND SECURITY PERSONEL TO SECTOR 559."

The four agents ran off and headed to the shore. Agent Garza contiuned after them. Noticing Agent Garza behind them, they began shooting. Garza shot back several times and although he did hit one of the agents, they all continued to run ahead.

The four agents get to the dock and jump on a boat and speed off. Only agent Garza's bullets and a fleet of police boats chase the little speed boat, up the chase was hopeless.
