THORN COMMUNE, MAPALGETIA--Today, in the mountains outside Thorn Commune, the last capitalist and imperialist guerilla bases were destroyed.
Residents expressed their joy in light of the recent streak of rapes and house burnings which had plagued Thorn Commune. The violence was instigated by capitalist counter-revolutionaries and the Communal Guard had to be called in almost once a day.
A stockpile of chemical, laser, and cyber-weapons were found in the last guerilla base in the mountains.
The People of Thorn Commune ran through the streets, chanting one of Mapalgetia's favorite poems:
"Rise like Lions after slumber
In unvanquishable number
Shake your chains to earth like dew
Which in sleep had fallen on you
Ye are many-They are few"
The Assembly in Mapalgetia Commune decided to reopen to the world now that the perfection of Mapalgetia was complete.
