Deep Space Pirates' Spaceship Storefront [Now Open]

Deep Space Pirates' Spaceship Sorefront
You fly through an asteroid field. In the middle of the field, there is a pirate outpost. Several dozen patrol ships notice you. They are about to open fire, but then you explain that you came to look at the shipyard's storefront. You are escorted by the ships to make sure that you don't go wandering off because the pirates have their base in this asteroid field in Deep Space. The list of inventory is in the next post.

NOTE: Most of the technology used is from the games Homeworld, Homeworld Cataclysm, or Homeworld 2. The ships are thus copyrighted by Sierra. Most of the images are taken from Homeworld Shipyards (http://well-of-souls.com/homeworld/hws/), but I may put images from other sources or my own screenshots. Most of the Homeworld technology is from the Turanic Raiders and Vaygr civilizations, however any ship I choose can be in here. Some ships' specs in this storefront have been slightly altered from Homeworld and sequels.

Inventory
The prices are done in International Credits (IC), equal to one United States Dollar (USD).

Pirate Interceptor
http://well-of-souls.com/homeworld/hws/turanic/interceptor1.gif
Class: Fighter
Price: 350 IC
Agility: High
Speed: Fast
Armor: Light
Size: Very Small
Firepower: Weak
Weapons: 1 Small Gun
Notes:Don't be deceived by its low firepower and light armor. It is cheap to buy and fast to move. Several squadrons of Pirate Interceptors could be lethal.

Pirate Heavy Corvette
http://well-of-souls.com/homeworld/hws/turanic/heavy_corvette1.gif
Class: Corvette
Price: 650 IC
Agility: Above Average
Speed: Above Average
Armor: Below Average
Size: Small
Firepower: Below Average
Weapons: 2 Medium Guns
Notes:Pirate Interceptors are more manuverable, but less powerful than Pirate Heavy Corvettes. Mixed squadrons of Corvettes and Fighters could help balance a fleet and increase odds of success.

Pirate Missile Corvette
http://well-of-souls.com/homeworld/hws/turanic/missile_corvette2.gif
Class: Corvette
Price: 750 IC
Agility: Average
Speed: Average
Armor: Below Average
Size: Small
Firepower: Average
Weapons: 2 Missile Launchers
Notes:Similar in design to Heavy Corvettes, these ships have one vital difference. Instead of guns, there are missile launchers. That means more damage to Capital Ships. However, highly maneuverable fighters could be a weak spot of Pirate Missile Corvettes. Don't send them into combat alone.

Ion Array Frigate
http://well-of-souls.com/homeworld/hws/turanic/ion_array_frigate3.gif
Class: Frigate
Price: 1500 IC
Agility: Below Average
Speed: Average
Armor: Average
Size: Medium
Firepower: Above Average
Weapons: 1 Large Ion Cannon
Notes:A balanced mix between the Corvettes and Capital Ships, several of these could prove lethal.

Attack Carrier
http://well-of-souls.com/homeworld/hws/turanic/carrier0.gif
Class: Capital Ship
Price: 60000 IC
Agility: Low
Speed: Slow
Armor: Very Heavy
Size: Large
Firepower: Strong
Weapons: 2 Large Ion Cannons, 10 Small Guns
Max Fighters: 50
Max Corvettes: 25
Notes:This is a nice, powerful, balanced ship. Fighters are its key weakness, but with a small defensive fleet, there should be no problem (unless it is faced with a huge fleet or more powerful ship).

Outpost
http://well-of-souls.com/homeworld/hws/turanic/outpost1.gif
Class: Super Capital Ship
Price: 55000 IC
Agility: Very Low
Speed: Very Slow
Armor: Heavy
Size: Very Large
Firepower: None
Weapons: None
Max Fighters: 100
Max Corvettes: 50
Notes:By itself, it is defenseless. However, escorted by fighters, it is a nice remote base of operations. Make sure that you guard it at all times.

#Taggedy#. I love the Turanic raiders.

One thing though, you may want to boost those prices by a lot. I mean, a RL gun costs more than some of your ships. Most fighters should cost in the 10 million+ range, and capital ships should cost in the hundreds of millions.
