"...officals expect a speedy resolution. In local news the Minister for Argiculture made a shock annoncement today, effectively cutting almost all funding to farms in the state of Deopolis. The state's farmers have experienced decades of drought and poor management, the Minister stated that ...it has reached a stage where we are paying five times the amount the industry could make in a decade to keep it afloat, it's a matter of priorities and when the other states and foreign sources can handle the supply more effeciantly and at a lower cost... it''s time to cut our losses.
The move has caused a great deal of concern amoungst the 12,000 farmers effected by the move, all of which will be offered on last lifeline in the form of government purchase packages for their land."
