Distress call

A Wilhelm Scream
21-05-2004, 01:45
At 8:00 Pm EST the government of A Wilhelm Scream recieved a distress call from one of it's aging nuclear submarines. Ironically named KurskII It became apparent as time went on that they were sinking...fast. We lack the resources to help and request the aid of nations around. We're not sure how to go about a delicate situation such as this, because one wrong move could trigger the nuclear reactor in the sub.

We graciously await aid.

OOC: Ironic a sub sinking

IC: There is not much any of us can do because we will risk to many lives. I will take the risk and send another sub to search for it if we get the coordinates. What is the risk lever for our mission?

This just in, another distress call saying that it was not simply a malfunction of the sub, in fact that it was sabotage, the distress call also included the suicide notes of all ten members on the sub. Hope was lost, they had reached terminal depth and wished to die with dignity. Apparentally they all cracked their AWS G.I. cyanide pills, for SNAFU situations. There have been no more calls since then. We are trying to find out what happend and who is responsible. Our intell tells us that it was another country. If you have any ideas as to what happend on this submarine we DEMAND answers. The families of the crew and our government sincerley implore the parties responisbile for this act.

One way or another we'll find out and we will make whoever is responsible a very un happy nation for this heinous act on a peaceful and growing nation. We have no quarrel with anyone, except those that attack us. When we find out who it was, they won't sleep right.

I am willing to put my nations fullest efforts into saving your sailors. But there will be a price. 10 english muffins. I will have my entire navy go after your sub and not only save the crew, but raise it too, and returned to you promptly. What do you say?

The nation of Nellisland would like to know the following things:

1) What exactly was on the the submarine?

2) Where exactly did it go down?

Nellisland will send 10 of its finest submarines to the location of the distress call as soon as you tell us.

The answer to that first question is classified
as to your second, it sank 22 nautical miles of the coast of AWS.

The focal point has shifted from rescue to recovery and investigation, those who would do such an act will be prosecuted and rue the day that they perpetrated this act.

I have 5 cargo helicopters with 42 ton carry limits each, with your subs you can attach cables to the sub, and my copters can lift it out of the water and onto the shores of A Wilhelm Scream, or one of his carries, whatever he prefers.

My submarines left last night and will be in location in hours. I would like for you to tell us what and who, specifically names, ranks and records were on that ship.
