Forces from the nations of Praetonia, Cam III, Camewot and Phoenixius have been stationed in The Deadly Viper for three years now. In that time they have been attempting to improve the nation that was so cruelly managed by the former Sultan of The Deadly Viper. Under the treaty of surrender (including later additions) the following tasks had to be accomplished:

1) The Viperian navy be reduced to 10 ships, none of them bigger than a missile destroyer. No aircraft carriers, battleships, battlecruisers, cruisers or submarines.

2) The Viperian army be reduced tono more than 30,000 men, and no more than 300 MBTs.

3) The Viperian Navy be reduced to no more than 20 short and medium range planes. No long range planes.

4) All Viperian Nuclear, Biological and Chemical weapons that he may have had be destroyed.

5) A Democratic Government be established in The Deadly Viper.

6) A constitution be written by the victors to ensure that The Deadly Viper becomes a moderate and responsible member of the International community.

Now, all of these objectives have been reached and it is time to hand power back to The Deadly Viper, except this time to the The Deadly Viperian people and not a corrupt evil dictator.

In a spectacular ceremony, the Coalithion Viceroy in The Deadly Viper officially handed power to the new Deadly Viperian President andhis parliament, followed by a 100 gun salute and a party that continued long into the night. At midnight, a maginificent firework display lit the night sky for miles around the Capitol, marking the first day of Viperian Democracy.

All Coalition troops are now withdrawing from Deadly Viperian territory into their military bases. These base, although legally part of their respective countries, surround one of the Viperian ports. This both enables them to mantain a watchful eye on the Viperian government and allow them to quickly intervene if a Dictator tries to emerge. It also allows them to bring in supplies and ensure they are not isolated in the event of war.

Phoenixius troops have had a wonderful time at the night long party. NOw they are all drunk and happy in their bases. The majority of the oficer corps are still sober, so conditions in TDV can be monitered and sent back home.

We would like to congratulate the Viperian people and the coalition for installing a new democratic government. We hope that this government would abide by the laws of the international community.

I will only move my troops out of his cities only if he does not intervien in my war with Holy Frogs.

We agreed to move troops out of his country in the surrender agreement, we cant back out of it now. Besides he wont interfere with our troops actually on his island (although the bases are not legally part of TDV, they are actually inside it).

OOC: TDV, this means:

1) If you decide to breach the arms limits, you must tell us. We would easily notice large troop build ups and production.

2) You must be more responsible. If you look at democratic governmnets in RL, they dont randomly nuke people, get involved in wars etc and they actually care about international opinion of them.

The low hum of the bullfrog hovercraft broke the nights silence they glided quietly up to the cliffs and their troops silently disembarked they were joined by the deadly viper underground resistance a relatively small but well equipped and trained army that had been harassing enemy patrols since the start of the occupation the night was still and the army base guards were not expecting much trouble they paid for their negligence they were the first to die shot between the eyes with silenced snipers or the deadly crossbows the underground resistance were so skilled with. The intruders placed large packs of explosive around the army camp and as silently as they had come they disappeared into the night, minuets later the explosives detonated. After the smoke cleared all that could be seen was a large crater where the army camp was.

All over the country a similar thing was happening to the other enemy airbases an army camps and within hours the deadly viper had been freed!!!

I posted that ages ago I thought I was free

You cant win a war in one post, without even letting the enemy strike back.

Yes, you are now free, but none of that godmodded bullfrog rubbish ever happened. If you wanted to try and liberate your country then we didnt stop you, but you had to do it properly. You have your country back, but you should RP a 'nicer' country, as democracies generally dont do the things that you have done as a Sultanate. Remember we still have troopsin your country so if you try to revert we're there.

Not to mention a regionmate who is rather... concerned about having good international face and doesn't want it tarnished by a sociopath.
