OOC: This RP takes place Two Years after the Shivan Invasion RP. A Mop-up of the remaining Shivans is near completed and Outer Heaven had come across some very interesting technology, and has built a new weapon. They wish to go back in time to the Mop-up, and collect more, so their Empire amy expand more and become more powerful. All those that participated in the Shivan RP are more than welcome to join especially Indra Prime, because this will focus on our little RP War set in 'A clash of Worlds.' New people are also allowed to join in, but beware, I could erase you forever...

IC: Liquidus sat in his Quarters, watching a report on their new 'Weapon'. As it flipped around, splaying data, he grinned. It was all going to plan. The weapon was completed and fully operational, it was fully crewed, the 'Generator' had been installed and activated, and it had only taken Three years to build (after the Shivan Invasion). All it now needed was a target. After a while, he deactivated the hologram, and walked out onto the Bridge...of their new weapon. After nodding to a few Officers he sat in the Command Chair, and tapped in a few commands. With an affirmative sounding bleep, a hiss could be heard, followed by a gentle shake. Liquidus then activated the View-Screen in front of him, and an Officer appeared. "Colonel Brethorn, this is Overlord Liquidus Snake. We are about to make the Temporal Rift, is the Station ready?" he asked. The Colonel nodded, "Yes sir, the Temporal inhibitors are in place, we don't know if they're going to work, but I'm got an okay from the Engineering teams. So we're ready when you are." he said. Liquidus grinned. "Acknowledged Colonel, good luck." he said. And with that, Liquidus turned off the view-screen, and keyed in a few commands. The crew strapped themselves into their seats, and got to work. A few minutes later, a large hum could be heard. It got louder, until it sounded like a roar, a roar that shook the ship only a little.

The front of the 'Weapon' opened up to reveal a blue shaft. It lit up, and as the Front began to stop opening, Panels became visible. They started to spark, and then, they gave off short, electric-like stuttered bursts directed at the shaft. Then, the bursts turned into solid beams heading into the shaft, and the front of the Shaft lit up a very bright blue. A swirling blue ball started to form on the tip of the shaft, and then, the energy shot out at light speed and 'hit' five KM away, and it started to create a shimmering portal. Chronometric particles started to form around the ball giving it a blue aura, and went into it, and then shot into the Portal. Within half a minute, the Portal was big enough to encompass the 'Weapon'. The front closed up, and then as it did, the beam shut off, and the ship was yanked into the Portal at impossible speeds…

The ship shook violently as it shot through the Time Portal. At many points the ship fluxed, and changed shape, sometimes bending, sometimes stretching, and sometimes turning into a ball. The crew was having a hard time, and quite a few were injured by the Fluxes, but the Bridge Crew, including Liquidus, were fine, because the Bridge was heavily armoured and heavily shielded, and the View-Screen was de-activated, so they couldn't see what was happening. After a minute, the ship slowed down, and went into a bright light…

…And came out of another Portal, as the ship stopped, the Portal closed, and then sent out a shock-wave, hitting the ship but not damaging it. The same had happened at the Outpost, three years into the future, but the Outpost was pulled within 1KM of the Portal, and then the Portal sent out the shock wave, and the Outpost was shredded into Millions of pieces.

Liquidus activated the view-screen, and cheered. The rest of the crew cheered triumphantly, and the Lieutenant sat next to him turned. "Sir, it appears we've gone back in time by three year, and if our readings are correct, right now Indra Prime and the other Nations should be mopping up the last of the Shivans. Also, medical bay reports that sixty crewmen are heavily injured, but can be brought up to full health, and ten went insane watching the Fluxing of the ship. We had to shoot them before they killed someone…" he finished. Liquidus nodded, "Time Travel always has its casualties. But still, we've ended up exactly where we wanted to be. Helm," he said, turning to the Helmsman, "Set course for the Gamma Draconis Sector, we've got some Shivan technology to collect." He ordered. The Helmsman nodded, and activating the Sub-Space Drive, a big blue Portal opened, and the Temporal Incursion Vessel Cobra (the 'Weapon') entered the Portal…

OOC: I should smite you where you stand for taking my technology and vessel but i will rp with you instead. Now I must warn you that i have new technology. My standard ship is as upgraded version of the Sathanas. I have basicly gone Shivan. Iam even in the process of turning my entirre population into shivans but I WANT MY SHIP BACK.

It was a boring day in the communication centre it was dull outside, well if you could call it outside. The blackness of the Trovia moon does little to stir the immagination. Then all of a sudden a distorted message came through on all Sub space bands, it had to be a distress signal.

Keyla the operator at the time was puzzled at the signal it was using codes that were three years out of date. She boosted the signal gain on the transmission and twisted a few other dials and the message was auidable.

"This is the IBS Temporal we are under attack by Indra and heaven ships damage is severe, I repeat damage is severe we need help our cordinates are 234,569,3 in the Gamma sector. The hull is rupturing we..........................."

Keyal transmitted this to her superior who would in turn pass it through the supply chain.

Military Briefing

Admiral Maketh: Gentleman, it seems we have a problem. We believe that the IBS temporal has fallen into the wrong hands. Yesterday a call for help from the Temporal was recieved however this was three years old. Now this could only of happned if someone has reactivated the Temporals systems, even for a short moment is all that is needed for the message to get out. So sirs i put to you that we send the IBS Mediator and the IBS Shelf life to investigate.

Admiral Minoith: This is dangerous, the temporal was using cutting edge technology we must ptrevent any one from using it.

As a result the two warships have departed.

OOC: Welcome Aboard IB! But, the Temporal incursion ship isn't yours. We made the ship Five years on from the Shivan Invasion, and used it to go back in time, to get more Shivan Technology, and also, to wipe out Nations that have tried to destroy us...

"Helm, power down engines to 1/3, Tactical, raise Temporal Shields and deploy Flak Cannons, Anti-Fighter Beams and Heavy Beam Weapons." Liquidus ordered. He recieved two "Aye Sir"s, and then a large hum could be heard...

The TIV Cobra was an immense and intimidating ship in the least. 25KM long, 3KM wide, and 5KM tall, all made from very dark grey Quantum Armour, made it look like a nightmare. The only lights coming from the ship were the Solu-Liquid windows. Nearly as strong as the Quantum armour itself, but see-through, they provided great view points. But still, the ship was a dark nightmare in space. And without warning, purple electric like beams shot out randomly from the ship, and slowly, the created a flowing purple sea of shield, and soon, they joined, creating one see-thru purple shield around the ship. The beams stopped going into the shield, but occasionally, a spark was given off. Then, parts of the ship began to open, and out came an arrangement of turrets, and a few lines of hull retracted, and flowing blue lines appeared all over the ship. Then began to flow, and then blue beams came out, hitting Shivan warships, stripping off bits of hull. Fighters foolish enough to come near to the TIV were blown away by Flak, destroyed by anti-fighter beams, or they hit the Temoral shield, and were erased from time. However, the shields may be Temporal based, but they could only erase so much before needing to regenerate...

A BuMp just for Indra Prime

Five Hundred years after the Shivan Invasion

On the Indra Prime Temporal Monitor Station located just outside the grand circumference of the Galactic Rim, Major General Barrett Tixier stood watching, quite literally, the timeline manipulations fluctuating in and out of the space/time continuum. Things for the most part had been quiet for the past few years with the exception of the TII Incident that had tried to change the course of the Human Galactic Timeline. That would be an event that would go down in the history books. But today, routine was the most exciting thing to occur on this station. Or so he thought. All of a sudden the display of the curloop of superstring material, which normally was a green display with a red string here or there, turned into a mess of deviation orange and incursion red. Somebody was altering the flow of time.

At this point in History every single Indra Prime Vessel, Station, Outpost, Colony, and Planet was outfitted with shielding that would prevent any changes in the timeline to affect them. Monitoring outposts like this one, were constructed to detect the flow of time and if someone or something changed the timeline in a major way, the Fleet would be deployed to correct the situation.

Klaxons began to blare as wave after wave of temporal instability began to ripple through the timeline and change the galaxy just outside of the station's shields. The station's normal sensors recorded the disasterous changes that were being made to the continuum. Entire star systems, nebulae, and civilizations rose and fell as the individual instability pulses ran through the timeline. Despite the rise of several powerful civilizations, the general direction the galactic community went was towards anarchy, many of the good, peaceful civilizations that had arisen over the past five hundred years were turned into smoldering wreakage or increasingly more militant. This cannot be allowed to happen. The General came out of office and stepped onto the main control floor. He immediately called for a situation report.

"Report!"

One by one the officers around the control room began calling out information as it became clear to them what was happening.

"General, A major temporal incursion incident has been detected at coordinates 66253.99345.9930 with a temporal displacement of 533.544 years before now."

The general had a notion come to him that the coordinates were familiar for some reason and his notion was about to be proved correct by another officer.

"Sir, Computer records show that location is Sector Sierra Delta 001, The Sol system. With the timeframe given, it appears that the incursion is occuring at the end of the first conflict between the Humans and the Shivans."

"General, sensors have Identified the vessels as Outer Heaven MK II. They originated three years from their future to procure additional Shivan Technology. Apparently the Indra Prime commanders were unable to convince them of the danger of time travel."

Another officer spoke up.

"General, that conflict was a major turning point for a number of nations, including ourselves. Many of the nations that joined the ESUS then were influenced in some way by this conflict. If the tide of power was changed the timeline would become irreversibly contaminated."

"I am aware of that, Lieutenant. Contact the Phantom immediately."

"Channel open sir."

"Colonel Damien, this is General Tixier of the Monitoring Station Beta Echo 31. I am ordering your fleet to engage a hostile enemy in sector Sierra Delta 001. Your target is the Outer Heaven MK II vessels with the following quantum signature. They have altered the timeline and cannot be allowed to return to their year with the Shivan Core. Colonel, do you read me?"

A holographic man in his late 40s appeared in front of the General. In the holofield people could be seen walking around behind the colonel doing normal ship functions.

"General, am I reading you correctly? You want me to take the Phantom back to the Shivan Conflict to stop a nation from taking Shivan Technology? The Shivans were no match for us. The pose us no threat then or now."

"Colonel, whatever they did, the Indra Prime of that time could not stop them, or did not stop them. For whatever reason. That is why we must take it into our hands to prevent the twisting of the Timeline. Take your fleet and eliminate the threat."

"Aye Sir. Damien out."



Colonel Damien sat in his command chair on board the Indra Prime vessel Phantom thinking over in his mind the instructions he was given by his commanding officer. It had been a while since his last incursion but as always he was ready to take on this new mission.

"OPS, activate the TVG."

"TVG charging up. Initiation in Five...Four...Three...Two...One...Contact."


A vortex began to form infront of the lead vessel and quickly expanded to the size that would allow all thirty vessels to enter within a short amount of time. It would take a few minutes for the vortex to stabilize. But in the meantime, while the vortex was building at both locations and times it would give the OH vessels something to consider.

(OOC: I'm in, if you'll have me. Sounds ... interesting.)

The Dictator sat in shadow, waited in silence. When the knock came, he immediately replied: "Enter."

What came ghosting inside was repulsive to the eye, a familiar vomited up by the Abyss ... but it was ... useful. "A report from the scriers, your majesty," the hideous thing whispered. "Time bends and warps around a point nearby." It whispered more in that ghastly voice, then ghosted away.

The Dictator sat in shadow, waited in solitude.

When the decision came, he wove his fingers through the air and vocalised sounds alien to the human tongue. Somewhere, on the bridge of a vast ship, his image appeared and his voice spoke: "Greetings. I am the master of the Silver Ring -- and you are someone who is probably in need of certain services which I may provide ... such as troops which do not rest and information on the current political situation. I ask but a pittance in return."

(Whoever responds first is the one who was contacted.)

One after another the vessels entered the rift and moment later, arrived at the time in which the Shivans were to experience their first major defeat against Humans led by the Indra Prime vessels of this century. As with accordance with the rules of tactics in the future, the first vessels to enter this time were the battle cruisers and destroyers. Next came the carriers and then finally the Phantom Herself came out of the rift. A monster just by herself, the Phantom was more than three times the size of the Phaeralon class flagship of this century and was much more powerful. The smaller vessels of this future fleet were not small vessels either. Each of them were at least 1/2 the size of the Phaeralon. Despite the obvious differences in design, all the vessels employed the same technology. Any vessel of this century that came across one of these vessels would get no readings on this vessel whatsoever. It would appear that they were not there. With the flawed first Temporal Fleet constructed in this era, Indran Scientists figured out a way to eliminate any temporal signatures or any other kind of signal that would give away the vessels designation or nation of origin. Even if the most advanced vessel were to come right up to it and use the most sophisticated scanners all they would detect is that there was a vessel there. All other readings would not exist. No lifesigns, no powercore, no subspace disturbance, nothing. The only thing a vessel from this century could do was to see the vessel just through the sensor of sight. Even as the most technologically experienced nation in Temporal Mechanics, Indra Prime of this century could not identify the identity of these vessels. Nor could any nation go forward in time, or backward in time with the precision this fleet had. The Quantum discriminator had only been invented 50 years ago from Colonel Damien's perspective and it had been the first of its kind. It allowed a vessel to accurately target a specific time and a specific place and appear right when they were supposed to. The Shivans had gotten to a point where they started to experiment with quantum discrimination but they never figured out a way to solve the quantical instability.

The fleet exited the temporal rift and began scanning the area to find those few vessels that were out of their century and to eliminate them.

OOC: You should probably just watch this one so you can get an idea as to the way this RP has been going. There are some things that you should probably do before getting involved, like setting a definite recipient of your transmissions. My advice is to just watch and learn.

The fleet Species 1 had sent to combat the Shivans was still harvesting ships when they detected the disturbances in the space-time continuum.

Event: Temporal disturbance detected in system 2-85490
Directive: Investigate; Acquire.
Action: Move to system 2-85490 to determine cause of disturbance

The entire fleet immediately engaged their engines and activated shielding that should keep them safe from the temporal corrections themselves even if they were not strong enough to protect a vessel from a temporal weapon.

KABOOM!!!!! A Shivan Heavy Cruiser erupted in a blue fireball as the Cobra's Beam Weapons ripped it apart. However, the ship, while destroyed, it ahd split up into three solid chunks, and one of them gave off a very Powerful reading...

"Sir, the Cruiser that tried to attack us has been destroyed. However, it has split up into three chunks, and one of them are giving off BIG emissions, like a Power Core." a voice came over the Comm. Liquidus raised an eyebrow, "Okay Lt., lock onto the source and Teleport it to the Labs. I'll be there in two minutes." he said. After getting an affirmative, Liqudius got up, left the Bridge to Captain Shizon, and entered the nearest Turbo-Lift...

When Liquidus got down to the Labs, a huge blinding flash came from one of the tables. Something quite small, that looked like a Core, sat on the table. Immediately, a forcefield went over the table, and an assortment of Pads and screens came up. Then, five scientists ran through the door, data recorders in hand. They bowed to Liquidus and then went over to the Screens and Pads, and pulled up every reading they could. After a thorough scan, one of the scientists said "Oh my God...", and turned to Liquidus. "Sir, this...core is giving off power that goes off every type of chart we have. Not even our Quantum/Sub-Space Power Generators give off anything half as good as this." he said. Liquidus waked over and mlooked at the screen, keyed in a few commands, and then stood back.

"So this is Indra's Source of power..." he said. THe scientists looked at him. He turned and grinned. "Indra recovered something like this during the Mop-up we're in right now. If I'm correct, this is what gave Indra not only unlimited power, but a further foot-hold over us. If this is the Core they recovered, and if we can use this, we could defeat the Indrans once and for all!" he shouted happily. He shook his head, grinning. "Start researching this Power Core now, find out how it works, what power it harnesses, how to duplicate it, how to fit it with our vessels. If we can fit this Core to our ships, we would become one of the most powerful Empires this Universe has ever seen! What are you waiting for! Hurry up and start, the sooner we get the required information on this technology, the sooner we can get rid of the Indrans!" he shouted.

The scientists cheered, and got to work immediately. Liquidus then walked into the Turbo-Lift nearest, and went up to the Bridge...

IC: Cpt. Maxwell stood on the bridge of his new command, the MMV Pheonix. He was re-living the event that had put Metallinauts on the galatic stage. He often does this. His memories were interrupted by a call from his communications officer. "Sir, Deep space reconassiance has learned there is some kind of major conflict in the Sol system. We have been ordered along with the first fleet to go clean up the mess.". Very well said Cpt. Maxwell. Bring us to warp set course for Segmentum Solaris, planet Terra." In seconds the Metallinauts fleet Was dropped out of the warp at Pluto. "Computer asses the situation, scan for allies and hostiles." said Cpt. Maxwell. The Computer identified Species 1 and Indran Vessels.

this is the only fleet that Metallinauts can spare at the moment.

OOC: First of all, my fleet has yet to reach the system so i am very suprised you can already pick it up in the system. Second, I would like to know how you can afford the upkeep or even the construction of such a large fleet with a population of 300 million? It would be a stretch if this was your entire fleet but you are indicating that this is just a part. I suggest you remove 2 or 3 zero's to make the figures more accurate. Because your fleet has more then a million men at the moment!

IC: The fleet had almost reached the system when it received an transmission. It had taken a year to reach this far but the fleet immidiately changed course and started the long journey... for home.

OOC: Species 1 please wait, we are waiting for Indra Prime to get off their asses and do something. If you were to wait a few more days, that would help. If Indra won't respond soon, I'll kick him out of the RP, and we'll just continue.

IC Outer heaven i have been reading your thread very nice posts. However if a Shivan cruiser was destroyed the power core would immediantly destabilise. The core is also only present in a few of the warships classes, Ravana upwards. I am therefore saying this could not happen as the core would most likely being exposed to real space time obliterate everything within a ten light year radius, including your ship as it would be a temporal shockwave. I demand this stops right now as no chance are you stealing my and my allies tech.

OOC: thats a pitty i was goin to jump in, anyway im still wondering about some of OHMKII ships, till this is sorted out between you 2 im just goin to watch

Then the Metallinauts detected a sizable fleet. They sent a small task force to investigate. They encountered the Species 1 fleet. They opened a channel. "To unkown vessels this is The People's Republic of Metallinauts, there is a conflict going on at Sol we ask you to return later. If you fail to comply we will open fire."

Brits this is a totally secluded RP. I've worked something out with Indra Prime and he says it's acceptable. Don't worry, the Shivans are now gone from the RP, it's just Metallinuits, Species 1, me and Indra Prime. Also, I said the cruiser (lets say Ravana for realism), didn't actually explode, but go into three large chunks. One of them contained the Core, still intact. And besides, I've played Freespace 2, and the last time I took down a Ravana I didn't die from an 10 Light Year explosion wave or something. But not to worry, the Shivans are out of the RP. However, if you want to take part, you could be the last bunch of Shivans.

I will not take part, however it's quite simple Freespace 2 does not use the kind of core you are talking about in it's ships. You have simply invented one and all i'am telling you is that if the ship broke up into three pieces the core would no longer be contained, cooled or whatever due to a lack of power for the containment it would go KABOOM. but i agree that the rp can still continue as you are still in the past.

OOC: Fine by me. Oh and by the way the fleet still consists of what it had left at the end of the last RP, minus 6 scout vessels who are returning home to deliver technology that has been obtained. So the fleet your task force has threatened consists of 149 battlesvessels and 270 scouts.

IC: The metallinaut fleet was detected of course and when the small task force neared the fleet they changed course and stopped at the task force and then 3 spheres emitted a green light that swept across the ships. After this scan they sent out this message:

*We are Species 1. Stand down and move aside or we will confiscate your ships. Resistance is futile.*

IC: The Capatain of the Vengence command his fleet to target the vessels that the grren light was eminating from and to fire all frontal batteries in a near miss as a last warning and he sent a message to the Species 1 fleet. "Please this is your last warning depart we want no blood shed today, if you fail to comply in 10 seconds we will openfire.". "Target the lead vessel." he said to his commander of gunman. IC: Suddenly the spheres dissapeared without a trace. The cubes began to move as this happened. They had raised their shields and were seemingly ignoring the task force as they raced towards their goal. Some of them seemed to be on a collision course with the ships.
One of the cubes sent this message:

*You have one chance.*

OOC:My bad it was very borg like plus your ships. Also If it is possible could you list the number of vessels and their category i.e Battleships and the like thanks. One more do you have all that adaptive technology that the borg have?
IC: The fleet took evasive manuvers but 2 of the Hellfish were hit one clung to the hull of the vessel and exploded in a aqua blue fire ball that tore through about 3 decks of the massive vessel. The other one was clipped but her engines were severly damaged wich caused the triterium in her engines to become unstable and blew up half the ship which subsequentially destroyed the whole vessel with all hands on board. The rest of the fleet took on a pursuit course. They were considerably faster than the cubes. The Captain had alerted the rest of the fleet of the inbound enemies. The Captain orded the other escorts to return to the task force his ship was to draw the other three cubes into the rest of the fleet. He told his gunners to target the damaged ship. First fired was the the heavy missile launcher which exploded with a huge cloud of purple energy due to the plasma antimatter mix. The cube stopped the other three continued. The Vengence class ship flew by the cube unleashing all her 24 broad side mounted cannons. She then swung around and fired into the hole of the ship her 14 MIWC cannons (those screw the integrity of your hull up). THough with all this punish ment the ship relentlessly moved toward the vessel. She was pwoering up for an attack...
OOC:Kill of this ship ifin' you please this will establish a toal war with our fleets crashing into eacother in a glorious conquest for superiority :twisted: !!!HAHAHAHAHA!! Sorry got out of hand there.

OOC: That is ok, you are not the first to make that mistake. And yes their technology is adaptive although they don't become invulnerable or able to bypass your shields with their weapons. Their weapons simply become more effective and yours less effective as they learn from you. They also have effective shielding from the start instead of being highly vulnerable to any weapon until they adapt. I made a factbook (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=148092) to answer those questions that everybody seems to be having. And do not post damage for me nor tell me what my vessels are doing. I will pick up where those two collided with my vessels and I will accept the attacks although I expect some restraint in the future. And my vessels can travel at 0.99c on sublight drives, how can you be faster?

IC: They had expected that the ships would move aside so the 2 slow ones cought them off guard. The neutronium armour took the blast although it was considerably thinner now where the ship had exploded. The other one didn't explode immidiately so the cube shot out a few tentacles that broke of parts of the ship. But then the ship exploded taking along all but one of the tentacles which had already been retracted into the hull. Distance was great enough for the shields to do their job and this cube too moved one.

The 149 warvessels kept moving towards their target at 0.99c when the cube that had collided and lost a bit of its armour was attacked with missiles. The cube answered this attack by taking out some of the missiles with its own weapons and taking the rest with its shields. Now it fired 6 compressed antimatter missiles at the ship as it stopped. It also fired a continous energy beam at the shields to drain them. The broadside hit the shields draining a considerable amount of energy but it was not worried and kept on firing with its energy beam and lobbing plasma bolts at the ship as well.

OOC: Sorry about the controling thing thats how I lerned to RP. We caught up to you because I used light travel drives.
IC: The Vengence Class was rattled badly by the hail of fire. The Captin Loaded all warheads and powered the ship to Full and gave the engines all available power. They made a ram attempt. Though the ship exploded before she could reach her target.

OOC: No problem, but since you don't know everything about my vessels you made a few mistakes.

IC: The vessel was rocked by the explosion and dissapointed. It had wanted to capture the ship not destroy it. There was still debry and this now the cube collected as the rest of the fleet slowed down to give him the chance to catch up. Soon the cube had joined the fleet again and they began to move towards their target again at 0.99c.

OOC:I will eventually learn.
IC: The rest of the Battle Group activated the warp engines. A Serenity class and 2 Vengence Classes appeared before the Cubes. The rest of the fleet appeared infront of the Fleet of Species 1. Captain Maxwell opened a cjannel to the Species 1, "To the leader of Species one, my fleet's prescence has been called back, we now have authority to use warp weapons. Please we wish you no harm. Simply turn around and go home. I beeseech. You have proven a worth adversary but my people need us. Yet we ahve a duty to protect Sol."
OOC: Sorry species but I gotta drop. I need to overhaul my fleet. Imperial Brits is gearing up for war so now I must bring it to the next level.

OOC: Ok, but do not underestimate 1.

IC: As the Metallinaut fleet moved in front and behind the cubes they spread out but stopped instantly when they received the message. After 2 seconds the spheres phased back to normal space behind the two groups of enemy ships. 135 scouts now threatened the rear of the enemy ships and it was a sphere who send this message:

*We will allow you to leave if you surrender one of your ships. Resistance is futile.*

They did not expect the organics to be so sensible so they powered up their weapons and prepared to fire if they refused or tried a sneak attack.

IC: "It is not with in my power to freely hand over our technology. I will comprimise with you. I will transmit to you the co-ordinates of our nearest out post with a ranking official who has the authority to do so. If it pleases you we will escort you to the outpost ourselves as a sign of good faith. I thank you for being so reasonable. Perhaps this can be an olive branch between our people?" said Cpt. Maxwell. With that the Metallinauts vessels powered down their weapons and shelds. They awaited Species 1's answer.

And that was there mistake. Refusing the ultimatum along with taking such a weak posture provoked an immidiate response from them. Both the cubes and the spheres began firing on the ships with everything they had. These weapons consisted of focused energy beams and plasma bolts. They aimed for the engines, shield generators and weapons trying to disable rather then destroying them. They also released their complement of drones who quickly moved towards the ships and these 11.360 drones added their firepower to the attack.

OOC: Sorry, but if you had only mentioned the Shivans Species 1 might have reacted differently. As it stands now, your technology is all they are interested in.

Several fighters were destroyed due to the weak armor and shielding. 35 Hellfish were crippled instantly and several more ships were minorly dammaged. The Serenities unleahed their massive Frontal batteries of the MEC (it's a non lethal EMP weapon that zaps the hell out of any mechanincal ships) They lit the entire surrounding area full of steel blue energy adn unleashed several hundred batteries of EMP missiles striking several things. After the volley was unleashed, Captain Maxwell opened a channel. "Please follow us to an outpost or allow us to go with in comm link range with our command post. We (being Metallinauts) are under the threat of a massive Shivan invasion. It is not a matter of if it will come, but when. Please allow us to leave we need to protect our people! We don't want to unleash violent weapons on you that is why we are using non-lethal weapons we wish no harm. You will recieve the technology you seek we are a people of honor. It is a peace negotiation erm and it will be honred. We beeseech you to let us go!"

OOC: Good call.

IC: The EMP wave never got past the shielding and the missiles only took out 75 drones. After they received the message they suddenly stopped. They sent this message:

*Species 2867 must be removed from this galaxy. We will allow you to leave, but only evacuate your ships when they are no longer capable of FTL travel. We will collect them as payement. Choose, a few ships or your faction. There is only one logical choice.*

Your terms are acceptable. You may keep all the fighter hulks and the 35 Damaged hellfish (there is no insurance on them). We will evacuate the crew. Perhaps these be tidings of a peace era betweens us?

OOC: Specs of Hellfish and fighters?

IC: *Do not interfere with our affairs in the future and we will let you live. If your faction wants an agreement you can let your leaders contact ours.*
