"This civil war which lasted a little more than a week is finally now over. The so called "freedom fighters" of the terrorist organization, ZAMAS, have finally been defeated. Our casualties in this conflict is minimal, however, 412 ZAMAS soldiers are in custody.
All will be tried for treason, which if convicted, will be executed by the Iron Chair/Bed.
(Iron Chair/ Iron Bed: These pieces of iron furniture were placed over a stoked fire and occupants were roasted to death. New Vigooran method of execution for treason.)
These terrorists not only killed innocent soldiers, they injured my son, destroyed the Senate Palace, and murdered all 30 New Vigooran senators.
As a result, I, General Vincent DeNari, am the only government left in New Vigoor. I will swear myself in as Emperor of New Vigoor. As for the martial law put in place during this war will now be lifted. The Following rights have been restored:
Freedom of Speech
Freedom of Press
Freedom of Expression
Right to a fair trial
The country is to now rebuild.
