Hey ARPG is running a medieval RP (1413, thats 2 years before agincourt if you didnt know). Theres Still 12 of the 25 or so nations left to pick, which are as follows:
Grey - Kingdom Of Aragon
Dark Brown - Kingdom of Portugal
Pastel Yellow - Crown of Bohemia
Sea Green - Duchy of Bosnia
Pastel Green - Serbian Principalities
Dark Purple - Principality of Wallachia (Pronouced Walakia)
Very Dark Green - Kingdom of Poland/Lithuania
Orange - Republic of Novgorod
Light Green - Lands of the Almavids
Olive Green - Lands of the Almohads
Gold - Khanate of Volga Bulgaria
Brown Cream - Republic of Genoa
We play the game much like a roleplaying risk, and battles are fought much the same way as on NS. However theres MUCH more political RPing then battles, and the papacy is player controlled to add a more realistic play.

Things go exactly as you want them to. If you are the Ottomans, and you decide to invade Scandinavia straight away, that's your choice, and you can do so. Course, it might not be that easy to just sail a fleet past virtually every Christian ship in Europe.....It's totally up to you....
Interesting, will it be played here or in a different forum?
Edit: So you don't need any knowledge of the things that happened?

None, although it helps to know the basic outlines, because you might face rebellion if you make an alliance with a country that historically wouldn't have allied. For instance, a Christian nation allying with an Islamic one would upset the populations of both countries no end.....

Well, its semi Realistic, stuff can go as you want, but limitations of realism can keep things on a similar path, for instance, france cant really ally with england, because for the last 200 years there people have been told there devils and youll suffer from unrest. Land claims still apply, and the papacy might excommunicate you for declaring war on something you have no right to. But it really is no holds barred within the relams of realism.
