(L.F.N.N.)- Today in a communiqué from the West Libericus city of Kronopolis, rebels calling themselves the Communist Liberation Front(CLF) attacked with a force of approximately 25-30 gunman killing 14 including 12 Federal Guardsmen, and 2 civilians. As well as wounding as many as 19 others, including 3 delegates. President Nicholas Flies said today that “these terrorist rebels will receive the harshest punishment possible for this heinous crime” currently the president is planning a course of action for retaking the building with Secretary of Defense James Walker, Secretary of State Kyle Mahoney, and Secretary of Domestic Affairs Travis Edwards.
The CLF is claiming that unless the government steps down, it will declare a state of war saying that they have cells within the country numbering into the range of 1-2 million strong. The government has ceased contact with the rebels and the president has ordered the entire city evacuated, and blockaded, 3,000 Federal Guardsmen are currently on post there until further orders. Pres. Flies has asked any country that has dealt with rebels/separatists for council and suggestions on how to deal with the current situation. Should the situation escalate to war Libericus may call upon the international community for help.
