New Currency Issued

In line with the Imperial Exchequer's worry about counterfeit currency, new paper and coin money has been issued.

Paper Money Features
*There will be five different currencies issued in money form: 1, 5, 20, 50, and 100.
*The base paper will be ivory in color with gold, blue, and green inks. The ink will make it hard for uniform counterfeiting across all bills.
*The borders will feature intricate and interlocking knotwork with the number representing the denomination a feature in the knotwork
*The bills will feature the faces of the Emperor and the four regional governors with of the face of the inheritors of the five estates printed in ultraviolet ink to the right of the primary portrait.
*The portraits will be framed by the flag of the governorship, or in the case of the Emperor the national flag.
*The backside of the bill will feature a portrait of a blindfolded Justice with the national flag draped over her shoulders. The right side will feature a right-facing Imperial Eagle with a shield with the Emperor's family crest on it chest and holding a right-pointed sword with the national motto engraved on the blade. The center will feature the dukes' and Emperor's respective capital buildings.
*All lines of ink will have microprinting that will vary depending upon the color of ink. To further increase security, the microprinting will be changed once every five years.

Coin Money Features
*There will be five coins issued representing 1, 5, 10, 25, and 50 cents.
*The 50 and 25-cent coins will have the appearance of gold, the 10 and 5-cent coins silver, and the 1-cent coin copper.
*The front will show a raised profile of the Emperor or governor while the reverse will show the respective person's family crest.


It should be noted to those governments or persons outside of the Imperium that any currency holdings would be honored. If one wishes to exchange their out of date currency with the new one, they may contact the nearest consul and notify them, the consular will likely have the proper amount of money on hand to make the exchange and if not will contact the primary mint and notify them of the need.
