(AU) National Broadcasting Corporation News: Major Changes Made in the Austarian System of Government
--------------------

Today, at a press conference, President Mark Etherton signalled a massive new age in the Austar Union;

"People of the Austar Union, people of the world. I come to you today, to announce the dawning of a new age in the Austar Union! For too long, these chains of democracy have slowed us to a CRAWL and we have become so inefficient, there needs to be some major changes. We have the people, the Senate, and the government behind us in this new move! I bring you all, Pilot!"

The door opens behind him, and a strong looking, yet handsome man steps out, and takes control of the podium;

"PEOPLE OF THE AUSTAR UNION! I am Pilot! Your government has nominated me as the new leader of the Austar Union. From now on, there will be some massive changes to the system of which you live in. Firstly, we are no longer slowed by this pathetic thing called democracy. I, have absolute power in the state. I, make the desisions. You, all follow my desisions, and You, all are to support ME! From now on, I want only three things from you. Love your People, love your Leader, and love your nation!"

There was a massive applause break, as the media erupted into a frenzy of delight. Pilot, the new Absolute in the Austar Union, looked over the crowd with his powerful stare, before breaking it, and turning, leaving the room.

OOC: There will be no changes in all my threads, except that my national leader is now called Pilot. That and the Austar Union is now under a system of dictatorship, only one with national support.

Hattia is saddened by these events in Austar Union, but if it is the will of the people, we will do nothing to hider them and wish to maintain good relations with AU.

"The Five Civilized Nations condemns the actions of the nation of Austar Union. We are angered that President Mark Etherton has so thoroughly betrayed the democratic traditions of his country. We are appalled by this action and express hope that the world will not sit and allow the creation of another dictatorship. We grieve for the people of Austar Union who now have to contend with the oppression of a dictator..." replied Shi Jin, the Vice Foreign Minister when asked to comment about the situation.
