"We could not pick a worse time to do this, could we?" Premier Alexi Romanov leaned back in his chair, sighing.
"No, sir, we could not," said Admiral Yuri Padorin, his chief defensed advisor.
"What is the situation with the rogue Doujin?"
"Unknown, sir. The task force is heading into the Pacific as we speak with an intercept course."
"Good, I guess. What is the status of the weapon?"
"Completed, sir. Silo one is prepping for launch as we speak."
The crews cleared the missile silo, sprinting towards the bunker about a half kilometer away. Steam vented from the missile as the outer doors opened, the nuclear warhead now visible atop its massive rocket engine.
"Input co-ordinates."
"Co-ordinates downloaded. T-minus three minutes, twenty-six seconds."
