The fleet slowly pulled out of the tatarus dockyards, the fleet consisted of an Oberon battleship 3 armmageddon battle cruisers 5 super heavy troop transports and 3 six ship strong falchion squadrons.

Their destination: autominous space nearby, they were the first of 3 fleets, the true begining of the Autocracy of New Sigmisund had begun.

from the first and second groups ripped a hole into the warp and headed straight for un-claimed space near the dark empire of corpsac.

Captain Jansen was very proud of his ship. The first ship to leave the system in the history of Wetland. Sure it was a bit noisy and crew quarters were cramped but the exitement of it all. Wetland had only recently acquired the technology necessary to leave earth and this charting mission was vital for their plans to expand. They had already found several promising candidates and were now moving along the border of Corpsac to see what was here.

"Sir, Agatha just picked up a fleet of ships. I am reading 4 battleships, 5 ships that seem to be transports and a number of smaller crafts. They are not in Corpsac space."
"Have they spotted us?"
"Unknown, they havent changed course but their present one is going to take them near us anyway."
"Continue on our present course, warn me if they change course."

Over the CorpSac Capitol
"Sir, DNS Erronius Conclusion reports several contacts just outside CorpSac space, unknown class, unknown country. Should we respond?" The Sensor Officer glanced over his shoulder at the Piledrivers captain.
"...No. We wait here, might see some TFU ships. If they enter CS space notify me...umm...actualy, launch a few nanocams, just to check things out."
Three long-range torpedoes were launched, about one thosand miles out they detonate, expelling ten microscopic cameras, they quicky arrange themselves in an X shape and make a near-lightspeed pass on the SCC ships, taking two pictures each and beaming them back to the DGNT fleet via hyperspace.
"Send a report to CorpSac command, inform them of what we have here..."

OOC: 2 battleships, 6 battlecruisers, 10 transport, and 36 'Escorts',

IC: the ships exited the warp, and headed at full speed for an un-named system, it was un-inhabbited, soon to be theirs.

the bridge is a huge thing, not very beautifull but it does it's job, at the center is a walkway accross the crews, on this stood admiral pili and flag-lieutenant matthias,

Pili: prepare for launch of fighters, send comm transmissions to the transports i want the landers ready, bring all guns online, and all ships ALL AHEAD FULL!

with that the ships headed in-system, the 2 battleships spewing out fury interceptors (7 crew, 100m long thingies).

OOC: Arent you a bit young for that many/that big ships?

"Theyre still outside the system, and we outnumber them anyway, so its no big deal...for now. But I want all ships on yellow alert, if they make any agressive moves, go to red and prepare to engage. Put a couple of mines in hyperspace, just in case."

i have an empire of many nations that work together, this is just the forum voice for them, and before you say godmod, it was how the brittish empire opperated, so ner ner ner ner nerrrrr!

the ships are inside the system, and to the best of my knowlage mr. 47 you are not.

the system is as follows:

red giant star
small un-inhabitable planet (mars sized)
habitable planet ++target++ (simmilar to RL earth)
outer gas plannet (saturn sized)

my ships are begining to orbit the 2nd plannet, trulandis as it has been named.

I was not calling godmod, I was just pointing out that thats quite a few ships for somebody your size, especially to be taking an uninhabited planet :P
Anyway, are they puppets, or run by other players? If theyre puppets they dont count, thats something known as 'puppet wanking', fer instance, I could make thirty nations, wait a bit, then claim I had a population of twenty billion and take over the world.
Its simply not fair.

i am not attaking any NS nation, any attacks from corpsac will cause out-right war, this is just an expansion thread, and i chose space near corpsac because my space is near his.

The First Fleet has moved into an area of space near that of CorpSac. They are in the newly designated Yanak system. They are currently there to monitor the situation should it get out of hand.
The first fleet consists of
2 Gruntis Class ships
6 Heavy Fighter Carriers
15 Arcturos Class ships
35 Hammer Class ships
50 Hiberius Class ships
300 Eye Fighers (I-2)
2 construction groups (Not permenant parts)

The First Fleet is under the command of Matt Wright, the Fleet Commander, "OK, I want the construction groups to commence construction of a new space station in high orbit above that planet. We should be able to build it fast. Set a patrol of 90 of the Eye Figters, in patrol groups of 3. That's 30 groups, enough to cover the area.

OOC: Yeah, puppets to RP is godmod.
And note: This isn't aggressive. Merely exploration, which I haven't done in ages...

IC:

the troop transports launched 16 leviathan landers to the planet each, between them are 5 standard troop regiments, 3 engineer regiments and equipment to build stuff and populate the plannet, the falchion (frigates, for simplicities sake) orbit the plannet in low orbit, the battle cruisers and battleships in high orbit, all on high alert, all with brace for impact and lock on to any enemy target within a set range orders.

My Empire's structure is based upon that utilised by the British Empire during the colonial era and the commonwealth.

The British Empire consisted of many semi-autonomous nations under the control of good old blighty, these nations were not part of Britain, and they were controlled by it. Each nation had to supply forces and other things, they supported Britain in wars, and they traded with Britain.

So if it happened then, and to a degree is still happening, why can’t I use the same ideology? Please give me an argument with a solid and provable reasoning behind it why.

OOC: you can just not with 7 puppets 1 or 2 ya any more then its silly i read a thread about it. plus the only free space around my empire (im surrounded by Hive Veredia and some other empires) is in the Grate Expance a Dangerus and uninhabbitable part of space so you eaither invadeing someones planets or you invadeing me

well that means your not "invadeing" near my space, the Grate expance is Large and then the others space is close to me apart from small areas that are part but not inhabbited by me but contain Milltary bases (small ones but still) so like i sead you invadeing someone near me or me

he turnned another corner, these winding passage-way un-nerved him, he knew there were adeptus assasatorium operatives around and death cult. he walked slowly up to the camber, it was open, he stepped slowly in, the light in here was dim, in the center lay a candaled area with a holy relic, next to the relic confessor maclancius of the ecclesciary sat praying.

Colonel spoke: "Confessor, your prescence is requested, there is a new sytem, we need one such as you to spread the light of the emporer, will you join us on our quest?"
the confessor contemplated for less than a second: "yes Ibram, yes i will join you, i am willing to take up the mantel of commisar-general again, yes, i will lead the flyong cavalry again."

the two figures stepped out into the light. they were on a balcony, bellow them were the elite of the sigmis armed forces, the famed flying cavalry, elite vetern stormtrooper sergents, everyone of them. they were linned up perfectly, but this was to be expected.

they were linned up into squads of ten, two lines fo five in fron of the squad valkerie and vulture, the crews in their craft already. the squads filed silently into their valkerie transports. then the transports flew up into the leviathans, closely followed by the vulture gun-ships. Commissar-General Maclancius was proud of his troops, he was there at their founding and would be there their greatest victory, 6,000 of the imperial guards fineist, they would spread the light of the emporer.
then Maclancius stepped into his transport wth his hyper-elite squad of space marines in the uniforms of the sigmis arial first. the first platoon were all space marines. they were the elitest of troops.

the third fleet entered a second system, they aimed for the first planet of the system, named Damek's landing, it has a low tech populas.

¬Fleet-admiral prepare for landing with the expeditionary force, do not deploy the arial 1st untill ordered. landfall is anticipated in 23 standard terran hours, emporer be with you

the fleet admiral looked away from the screen to the ensign in front of him. "ensign, send orders for the expeditionary force to commence landing. come to new heading 0-5-67. and enter orbit. then all ships lock on to main settlements and prepare for bombardment is nescisarry.

the colonel entered the lander, they were to land, set up a forward settlement and make contact with the natives, it would be a long campaign if hostilities occured as they would need to be hunted down by ground forces.


with that the shuttles left the bays and prepared for landfall.

the shuttles containing the expeditionary force landed, their orders were simple, secure this plannet as a base for forward expansion, and possible base for future wars (eg the current one, corpsac v gronde, again)
