President Peter Paul Rhodes was assassinated when a massive truck bomb exploded outside the Parliament building where he was speaking about the growing troubles in the FWS. The Parliament building was recently closed for chemical decontamination after a recent VX gas attack. Police are estimating the bomb was approximately 3 tons of C-4. The truck was parked right on the curb, the side of the building comes almost to the curb. Approximately 200 guards, 143 parliament members, and 400 civilians were killed in the blast.

A group calling itself the Fascist White Resistance Movement has claimed responsibility.

What is left of Parliament has yet to name a new president.
