“Colonel, We show huge troop movements in Egypstan, troops being called up, ranks rolling, and surface fleet movements, possible sub deployments, something big is going on.” Said an officer monitoring one of the SatRec screens

“Yes, indeed, tag this one, and put it in the “Urgent” folder, and send it to General Davis in the morning, and keep an eye on it

“Sir, yes sir”

Egypstan,

I am alarmed by this sudden aggression. Its ashame to see a nation that was being peaceful to turn into anger. If you should attack any of my allies, we will retaliate. We should hope that you rethink your mobilization. Though we are smaller than you, we will not go down without a fight. Let us move forward in peace.

Magdha is prepared for your attack since we own a missile defense system.

Any attack on us will result in your nation being bombed into the stone age with ICBMs. Comprende?

My Book of Facts (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=119106).

Egypstan, we will not attack you, but considering you have just cut ties with us and multiple other nations, your new "Pharaoh" forcefully took over, and your nations track record, we feel it nessessary to prepare incase you do decide ViZion is a target of your.

Be warned.

He hasn't threatened anyone in specific. But, he cut ties with ViZion, Jarridia, and many others a day or two ago.

We of the Aequatian Republic see the activiation of nuclear armaments, mobilization of ground and seaborne forces and the absence of the Egypstan government's reasoning behind the growing situation as a threat to stability of peace and a potential move towards all out war.

We demand an explaination of the situation from Egypstan's head of state.

OOC: It's in his ballpark right now...
IC: We urge that no nations take military action against Egypstan, unless he beings an attack. Egypstan is known for very strong military tactics, and with his size, and nuclear weapons on his side, we for one do not want to see him launch any attacks because he was attacked first. Do not give him any valid reason to attack, by attacking him.

Ahh, yes! We are glad to see Egypstan is back to the glorious nation it once was, before ViZion forced his style government on them, and forced us out of Egypstan. Now, though, it is payback time.

The GDMO speaks for most the world when we say that this sudden and large-scale mobilization of your military forces comes as a rather surprising and unwelcome shock. Just be forewarned that any aggressive attack against a nation without provocation will be retaliated against.

Our government again refuses to commend on this. We are preparing another three wolf-class nuclear submarines, along with three more aircraft carriers, which are heading into the Med Sea.

Another 2 million soldiers, and 4 million Marines are being prepared.

Routers-
At 10:57 pm CST, the Republican Government met behind closed doors regarding the recent nuclear activation and mobilization of Egypstan's military. No details have been released pertaining to this incident, but judging from the recent increase in activity within the nation's military control center, Lammashta may or may not be preparing an attack. Now, the Republic has no allies involved in this occurrence, which is raising a few eyebrows across the nation, but we are sure there is some reasoning behind this matter.

Lammashta--it's obvious that you're a pretty good rp'er, but don't you think that it's a bit early for your nation to be having orbiting weapons platforms? after all, you only have 50million people on a "reasonable" economy. i don't know what tech level you rp at, but i'd say wait a little longer.

OOC:
Theoretically, one need not have a very good economy or a great number of people to have such a weapon. All it takes is the information (Internet is good at that), and a few scientists forced to work tirelessly on very little or no pay to research it and adapt it for its intended purpose. The bombs used by the platform are very similar to the Fat Man bomb, but with a much higher payload, so they are really inexpensive to make (and technologically outdated), and the platform itself is no more complex than a standard sattelite with a 486 PC inside.

The technology required to launch it is no more complex than that which was required to launch Sputnik 1 into orbit. But, eh... if nobody wants my involvement, ignore the last post :p
