As I have deen threatend with invasion, which I do not take lightly, I have decided to declare war on this puny nation.

The troops curently in Camewot and TDV were called back to Cam III to be made ready for the war.

Ruissia is willing to move the soldiers stationed on DV, but not able to attack move to this country. This time, the Ruissian Mariners will be landing shortly

Keep in mind this is a rather small force as we do not expect this to take very long.

We have loaded small tactical nukes onto some of the B-2 Spirit bombers but will only use them if needed.

An atomic bomb has also been loaded onto a B-52. We do not expect this to be needed but if it is, we will use it.

We have doubled our garrison in DV in order to compensate for your pulling out. Our remaining 'Responce' Division is being shipped of to Camewot. Sorry. However, we can provide naval and air support with our Carrier Strike group, if you would like.

You're going to have a much larger problem on your hands if you continue that course of action by alienating two allies.

Cam, weapons of mass destruction are only to be used if they are used on you first.

It's kind of the accepted rule on the forums.

You can't use puppets to make yourself stronger. If that were true, people would be making hundreds of nations to make themselves stronger.

The captain of the ISS Hamilton, an Arizona-class battleship relayed the threat by Cam III to his superiors at the naval headquarters building in Nicksia. Navy Chief John Newman looked at it and shook his head. He called his boss, Vice President for Defense Terrence Wilson, in to consult with him.

"We aren't in the best position at the moment," Newman said. "I doubt Parliament's going to approve a two front war if that's what it comes down to."

"I know, but we can exert some pressure on Cam III without having to resort to military action," Wilson said.

Wilson pulled out his cell phone and called President Mike Sarzo.

"Sarzo."

"Listen to this, Mike," Wilson said, then outlined the threat.

"What the Hell?" Sarzo said. "I guess we're not going to have too much quiet time in Woodstock."

Sarzo got on the phone to call the president of Cam III. He was mindful that with over half the country's navy and a good majority of its army already committed to Challenger 2 that there wasn't going to be very much that he could do, but he was willing to try.

Meanwhile, he sent a text message to the commanding officer of the squadron that was just given orders to return. They were ordered to belay the order, but their new mission would be slightly different from the previous one.

The Stevens, a light carrier, and a small fleet of support ships would also head for the same set of waters for the new mission.

Cam III, we cannot support an unprovoked chemical bombing. You killed millions of civilians, you just cannot do that without political reprocussions.

Okay, first of all, you're not old enough to have but maybe a few M1A2 Abrams. You can't afford them and you're not technologically advanced enough to have them. You also probably could only have maybe a thousand out-of-date tanks, not 25,000 of the best tanks in the world.

Second of all, you can't have nukes. Once you're about a month old, you can start researching them, but right now, you can't have them.

B-2s are also probably impossible for you to have, because of the earlier point that you are not technologically advanced enough to have them.

i disagree on the technology front

the nation is tiny, so it would have a handful of tanks (mine is bigger and has maybe a two hundred curtting edge ones including mobile artillery light tanks and special comms tanks and minesweepers too actually!)

a thriving economy is $20000 per capita, thats a MEDC, a well developed western economy, so it must have the technology to have any weapons it so chooses. But not that many.


And yes it couldnt afford nukes. :roll:

The troops, already halfway to the capital, are walking along happily, singing and whistling happily, when all of a sudden, a nuke slams right in the middle of the 100,000 troops, killing them all.

"WHAT??? WHO HAS DONE THIS???" President Williams screams.

"Sir, we have reports it was the Camians." General Keith replies.

"I want a full nuclear counterattack now! No one kills 100,000 troops and gets away with it!"

Thirty ICBMs fire from the nuclear silos at Cam III. The B-2s change their path and prepare to fire their nukes. The B-52 loaded with the atomic bomb takes off from the air force base runway...

President Mike Sarzo, frustrated with the continued ringing of the leader of Cam III's phone, slammed the phone into its holder.

"Mother of pearl!" Sarzo said to no one in particular. He called the Sarzonian ambassador to Cam III.

"Look, you're going to have to get your people out of there," Sarzo said.

"But Mr. President, we just got here."

"I realize that," Sarzo said. "But right now, I think we need to look out for Sarzonian civilians that are in Cam III. You have one hour to evacuate the embassy."

The ambassador sighed. "Understood."

Sarzo also called Cam III's ambassador to Sarzonia.

"Make sure this message gets to your government pronto," Sarzo said. "You must stop the unprovoked use of weapons of mass destruction at once and you must rescind yoru threats against Praetonia."

"Or else what," the ambassador said in a voice clearly meant to challenge Sarzo.

"You won't want to find out," Sarzo said. "Get that message to him because he's putting this new alliance in serious jeopardy with his actions so far in this war." He hung up the phone.

You can't just say you bomb my capital with 5 nukes. You have to roleplay it out. Keep in mind I have ways to take down the nukes.

It's called the MEADs system.

It could take out 5 nukes easily. You have nothing of the sort, so you can't destroy those 30 ICBMs heading for your capital. Maybe the planes, but not the ICBMs.

Besides, all of this is happening in my Earth colony. Tasty Foods is located in it's own solar system, but keeps all it's ground forces and nukes in it's colony, so I wouldn't care if you did.

Uh...sorry to point this out to you, Cam III...Oh well, here we go. This is Cax (duh), the guy that originally sold you the Scandium-44 bombs. Well, they're dodgy. Seriously dodgy. As I this site shows, they wouldn't work:

The half-life (time it takes for radioactivity to halve) is about 4 hours. So, in one day of 24 hours, it is 24/4 = 6 times less effective. SO, the activity of your bombs is given by the formula 1 / 6 ^ (to the power of) [the number of days you've had it] * 365 (NationStates days in a Real Life day). I estimate this to be 1/6^36500. Which is practically nothing. And it could cause all those symptoms I mentioned, but you'd have to be locked in a room full of the stuff for years.

Due to the nuclear, chemical, and political fallout, Phoenixius is retracting all support for Cam III. We do not condone nuclear or chemical attacks with no reason.

The 5 ICBMs approach quickly.

"Alright boys! Time to finally test out this new MEAD system of ours! On 3, I want 2 PAC-3 missiles fired at each ICBM. If that doesn't work, which it should, we still have 2 left."

"1...2...3!"

Ten PAC-3 missiles fire from the MEADS launcher, two at each ICBM.

Two slam into the first ICBM, destroying it.

"Whoohoo we got one! Here comes the next!"

The 2nd ICBM approaches quickly, and for a second it looked as though the missiles would miss, but one of the missiles slammed into the ICBM, destorying it too!

As quickly as that happened, the 3rd and 4th ICBMs both came at the same time. Three of the missiles missed, and things looked bleak. But, one of the missiles hit one of the ICBMs, not destroying it, but knocking it off its course. The ICBM slammed into the other ICBM, destroying it too.

"Boys, this is it. The final ICBM. Prepare to fire the final 2 missiles. I want to make sure it's destroyed."

The final 2 missiles fire from the launcher, joining the other 2 missiles as they all slam into the ICBM, destroying it, and saving the colony's capital city from destruction.

"Good work boys. I guess this system was worth all those billions of dollars."

Meanwhile, the 30 ICBMs launched by Tasty Foods approach the Cam III capital, while the bombers prepare to enter the country's airspace.

GHI has taken a neutral standpoint in this war since I am already dealing with someone's elses little problems. However if I am provoked I will strike where it would hurt the most.

Is this war even still continuing? The whole Deadly Viper thing is over now (he's been made democratic) so I see no need to continue with this (note Im not part of this, I withdrew my support after the first chemical bomb.)

Since my new alliance with Evil and all bad doing is now clear I am now going to take affirmative action against Cam III, they WILL lose.

I have decided to:

Blockade Cam III
Bomb it daily
Not Invade until the time is right
Further my alliance with Evil and all bad doing by supplying them with oil, tanks, aircraft, technicians and medics. I will also be sending with 100 corparols to drill their army into a unique fighting force to end this stalemate. When the time comes, I will invade.

The Praetonian Government hopes that a peaceful solution to all this can be found, esspecially as time has overtaken the reasons for this war.

The Praetonian Government also questions GHI's choice of friends. Evil and all bad doing has supported both slave trading and genocide in the past, and is aself-confessed war mongerer.

That definetly has changed my mind. No country should use genocide to end a war, or support slave trading. Therefore I will call off all actions against Cam III and will stop helping Evil and all bad doing.

Thank you. I will stop this war and if I hear of EBD using genocide or anything else I will take action... Consider this your only warning.
