General Vincent DeNari steps up to the podium in the Imperial Palace in New Vigoor's capital, Tairon.
"Lady and Gentlemen of the press, Citizens of New Vigoor, I am proud to announce that I have authorized a new Nuclear Program to further secure New Vigoor from foriegn hostility.
When the first 100 Nuclear missles are finally developed, I, General DeNari will be able to solidify power and take the empty thrown in New Vigoor.
To fund this Nuclear program, I will unfortunatly have to raise taxes by 12%. I have also authorized to revamp New Vigoor's armed service. New Vigoor has always had great civilian technology. I see it only fit to design new state of the art military units across all three areas (Army, Navy, and Air Force) of the New Vigoor's military. To fund this, I will have to again raise taxes by 20% which is a total of 32% increase in taxes.
A lot of people have asked me, "How are you going to do this, DeNari? Unemployment is at an all time since the assassination of the Emperor."
The new military program will need people to help construct these newly designed units. My advisors and I predict that unemployment will plummet in front of this demand. After the demand is met, all unemployed citizens will be drafted into New Vigoor's armed services.
This is the dawn of a new Empire, under a new dynasty. The DeNari dynasty!"
