The Holy Emperor of Canales, defender of the Christian faith has passed last night. The cause of death was natural causes. The emperor was 124 years old when he died. His long reign as ruler included success at keeping the Empire out of all the wars going on in the world, including the major world wars. He mediated several peace treaties between his neighbors. When wars broke out, he issued an edict declaring the empire to be a safe haven for refugees from all conflict zones.
While Christianity was the official religion of the empire, the emperor allowed other faiths. In overturning an act of the national bishop that banned other religions, the Emperor is purported to have said that "religion isn't true religion unless it is by free will."
Doctors said he died cause he simply got too old to live and God decided to call him home after a life of faithful service to the faith.
Again, if you are joining us, TJ Canales, Emperor of the Holy Empire of Canales and defender of the Christian faith is dead of natural causes at the age of 124. There is much mourning at the royal palace at this hour.
The Bishop of Canales has said there will be 12 days of national mourning. The funeral will be held tomorrow.

The funeral will be held tomorrow. The Empire practices cremation.
But for royalty we use mummification instead.

We accept your offer.

Flags are being flown at half mast for the next two weeks. And the government is shut down with the exception of vital functions.
