IC:
After the prisoners from the O Faolains were taken to Camewot prisons, everything went calm for a few weeks. The government stopped hunting CF generals or soldiers.....
That was a big mistake....
Exactly one month after operations stopped, the CF began a massive riot in the red areas on the map underneath.
The red areas ALSO indicate the piece of lands they have conquered yet, the front is stabile but we cant seem to break through.
Help needed!










P.S.: My map was made with paint, could people please give me links to better graphic programs?

"They have a weak point near New Camewot! We are fighting in that for days and days but the CF soldiers seem to jump out of every building. If we could capture they would have no city anymore cause the rest is all plane land....."

After 15 minutes they came to a building completely surrounded with Camewotian soldiers, they were shot at from the building and the two soldiers jumped on the ground...

After 5 seconds, they saw a huge tank coming from the corner, firing at them.

5 Camewotian soldiers died. Post casualtys Cam.

The tank fired at the huddle of soilders and killed 5 Camewotians and 8 Eversor's (Native population to Cam III).

The Camewotian soldiers started firing at the tank wich exploded and made a building nearby collapse...

A Praetonian cargo plane aproached Camewottian Airspace. It contained 200 troops and 5 Trojan Riot Control Tanks.

Pilot: This is the Praetonian Relief Plane 340-029, requesting permission to land. Over.

Good work, you guys. Where to now?

Cam III

The sergeant received a message from HQ

PSSSSJJJJJJ Praetonian forces landing, keep youre positions untill they arrive, over and out. PSSSJJJJJJJ

The Praetonian forces ran off the plane, quickly preparing the Trojan Riot Control Tanks (see here for more details (http://s6.invisionfree.com/International_Mall/index.php?showtopic=391&st=0)) and started moving up to the 'front line'. They wanted to kill as few people as possible, but were sure that the death count would inevitabley rise on both sides...

The general ran to the Tanks

At the same time:

25 CF soldiers suddently appeared and started shooting at the forces.

The Praetonian Trojan tanks aproached the CF firing lines, and began to advance headlong into their lines. Their high pressure water cannons blasted CF militants off their feet and even those not hit could barely aim underthe vast torrent of water. The tanks' front mounted machineguns began firing blanks, which in the confusion were easily mistaken for actual machineguns, causing CF troops to jump wildly out of the way.

Once the tanks were inside the CF lines, they popped their CS Gas launchers, and Praetonian troops with gas-masks stormmed the CF lines, shooting the dazed and barely concious CF troops with traqualizer pistols, before advancing further inward.

The fighting with the 25 CF soldiers was easy.
In 5 minutes they had shot all CF without any friendly casualtys.

They jumped up and went to look for Praetonia as they heard they were making serious advances.

OOC: I think I found someone to play CF but I will play it for now.

At the CF HQ:

Heil Führer! The Praetonian forces are fast advancing with highly coward tactics!

Get our two helicopters to find for them and give them some napalm!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

The two helicopters rose and quickly found the Praetonian soldiers.
Because the tear gas was still there they couldent see the helicopters...

They first started shooting from the ari with machine guns, quickly dropped some grenades and finally the napalm.

The Praetonian troops advanced cautiously into the city. They had not seen any CF troops for a while now and it was making them nervous. Or rather it would have done if they werent so highly trained, but they were still very cautious.

Officer: Holster your traquilisers! Use your rifles!

Silently, every man switched his weapon. The men with missile launchers and machineguns covering them.

Sergeant: Sir! I think I can hear something.

That was followed by a moment of intense silence, broken by a loud chout

Officer: Helicopter! Fan out! Take cover!

Soldiers madly dashed into houses and ducked behind walls. The Lance-Corporal carrying the AA missile launcher ducked behind a tank, and started to scan the sky. Every trooper held his wepon pointing up towards the sound.

The bomber rose and quickly found the Fascist HQ...

He got out a anti-airforce cannon and shot.

The bombed crashed into the woods..

The CF Head Commander took his binoculars and looked oversea.

2 of the 5 ships stopped in front of the shore while 3 went to the seaport.

They quickly unloaded the goods and went back for more.
The other 2 ships made theyre cannons ready for any airofrce coming.

Back in the city:

The 20 "driving hospitals" arrived...
80 medics came out and started carefully loading the wounded into the trucks.
Orders came that everyone should stay there untill every wounded has gone.


Back in the Fascist HQ:

Yup, another coming sire!

They could saw a flydeck ship coming towards them with 2 helicopters on it....

The Praetonian force in the city had dug itself in, waiting for air superority before advancing. They were not however going to leave it entirely to their allies (who appear to be doing it very slowly).

A wing of Praetonian Prometheus Medium Attack Helicopters (more details (http://s6.invisionfree.com/International_Mall/index.php?showtopic=391))was approaching Camewottian airspace.

Flight Leader: This is Omega Flight One, requesting permission to enter Camewottian airspace. Over.

The 20 helicopters circled above, waiting for the reply.

The 20 bombers of squadron 8 rose up the air and set way to New Camewot...

After 15 minutes they reached it and could saw the Praetonian soldiers...

Radio: Squadron 8, is this squadron 8, over!
Highest in rank of the 20 bombers: Yes we are, over!
Radio: Get to theyre HQ, intelligence report state 2 battleships, they must be destroyed, over and out!

Flight Leader: Thankyou, Camewot, over and out.

The flight rushed towards the Praetonian positions, and both forces began to advance again, the troops protected from aerial enemies by the AA guided missiles mounted on the brand new helicopters ([blatant ad]All Praetonian equiptment used in this conflict can be purchased[/blatant ad]). Half of the group stayed with the Praetonian troops, whilst the other half skimmed towards the Facist HQ at top speed, sniping at targets of oppurtunity with their Mauser Chain-cannon.

After 5 minutes of advance from the ground troops, they came to a area where mines where plenty again....


The 20 bombers reached the Fascist HQ

Concentrate on the two battleships, nothing else but them!


They were quickly seen and soon 5 bombers were shot down...
But the 15 others went straight for theyre targets and dropped theyre bombs...
While getting away they could see how the battleships sunk....

Meanwhile the Praetonian helicopters circled the Facist HQ, quickly letting loose every missile they had, and sweept the ground with chain cannon fire. The entire building was levelled, they could only hope they got some of the leaders. The remaining helicopters flew back to land and re-arm.

OOC: Post the CF attack back because I dont know what they have.

Meanwhile the Praetonian helicopters circled the Facist HQ, quickly letting loose every missile they had, and sweept the ground with chain cannon fire. The entire building was levelled, they could only hope they got some of the leaders. The remaining helicopters flew back to land and re-arm.

In a safely controlled area.

General Halinberg now had control over the campaign in Camewot. Under his command, the CF forces, were under heavy traing in secret camps, mostly disguised as civillian schools.

Throughout the captured towns and cities, CF Forces had begun forced recruitment. They were faced with two choices: Fight for the CF, or have them, and their families killed.

Intelligence states that about 45% of the people joined the CF with these strategys.

In the CF controlled Area, General Halinberg was reading the details of the latest recruitment campaign. In the dimly lit room, he could barely read the report, the only light coming in through the small mud port in the top of the wall.

It was a very secret location.

Reading the details outloud, he noticed that some 5 Million people enlisted into the CF Army.

At the imperial palace

At the general HQ

This is the situation:
The fronts are stabile, Praetonian forces are currently moving slowly because of the mines in New Camewot and we completely bombed down theyre HQ.... 5 million people..... Gentlemen, this could become a long, long civil war....

Throughout the north of Camewot, the CF Forces began to span out across the countryside. Silent, like panthers, they sleek from tree to tree. The CF had been specially trained for such operations, and they knew it would guarentee them a quick victory in Camewot.

In groups of 15, the CF Forces crossed through the forest like terrain, an unstoppable, undetectable force.

In the meantime, back in the underground headquarters, tunnels were being drawn out across the countryside. The digging would begin soon.

Official Statement - Praetonian Government

Having supporte us in our war against The Deadly Viper, we feel oblige to give you all the help we can in this one. We are therefore prepared to deploy our Responce Army Corp (66,000 troops, 1,500 MBTs), half of our helicopter fleet (250 Prometheus Medium Attack Helicopters) and the 'Trojan' Carrier Strike Group. This is more than half of our total forces, so if we are force to pull out, we have no reinforements

Until now we have only the 146 remaining troops and 4 Trojan Riot Control Vehicles, which are still advancing closer to the ruined CF base inside New Camewot.

The Praetonian troops approached what they could only assume where the final lines of CF soldiers. The conflict has escelated greatly, it was no longer a riot it was Civil War. There would be no traqualizer pistols this time.

Praetonian troops quietly entered the houses overlooking the CF lines, shooting any garrisoned troops with silenced pistols. Once every man was in place, some in the building, some on either side of the road at the bottom of which were the hastily constructed defences, they opened fire, saturating the enemy defences with fire, as the helicopters roared overhead and opened up with their chain cannon and (recently reloaded) missiles. Further down the road, the Trojan tanks could be heard approaching.

Please post losses plus counter attack / retreat whatever.

We really need to work out some sort of posting order so that doesnt happen.

I know, but I dont actually know where this is. So far I thought it was inner-city but now its country side. I see what you mean though, Ill try to do it better.

IC: The Praetonian reached a bend in the road, as the tanks turned they saw a fallen tree, completely blocking their path.

Officer: A tree huh? Well we dont have any cars or trucks. Order the tanks to go right ahead and crush it. The infantry follow behind.

As the tanks began to roll over the tree, the infantry become more exposed toward the back. As the infantry slowly continue on behind the tanks, a shrill whistle comes from the treeline.

All of a sudden, hundreds upon hundreds of men run out firing at the soldiers from behind the convoy. As they open fire, another whistle comes from the treeline, this time on the other side. Without warning, anti-tank missiles are shot from the trees.

Looking desperatly into the trees, Camewot and allied forces find it next to impossibe to see where the firing is coming from.

As the heavy fighting continues, more machine gun fire comes from the flanks of the trapped infantrymen.

OOC: Wait a minute you did the same as me just with trees instaed of houses....

IC: 2 of the tanks exploded immediately, hit in the rear by RPGs. The other 2 swivelled around at once so the tanks swivel round to expose their stronger front armour to the soldiers, and opened up with their water cannons (its all they have on them - theyre riot control vehicles not MBTs), while the 84 remaining Praetonian soldiers take cover behind the tanks and in the ditches by the sides of the road, and begin firing back. They take aimed shots as best they can, while the machineguners just spray fire into the forest.

OOC: No, because my troops are raiding your convoy, and they know where ur convoy is, while you were running into random houses apparently killing my forces, who were actually hidden from yours. Convoys on roads arent particularly hidden. ;) And I never said that my forces overrun yours.

IC:

As the Praetonia forces take cover, the CF Forces spread and lay over the road. 7 are killed from the waterjets.

In the forests, 2 men are killed by a random spray of bullets, but never the less, they continue firing.

OOC: You post losses too, considering your forces have just been swamped ;)

OOC: I did. I said that 2 Trojans were destroyed and I said that the 84 remaining soldiers fired, as opposed to 130 which there were before but no matter.

IC: The Praetonians held their ground. These soldiers were elite, and they knew they had better chance of survival staying put than running. They continued to fire, the men behind the tanks pulled ammunition of the rear racks and through it to the men in the ditches, which they began to dig deeper.

A low, droning hum could be heard through the gunshots. It got closer and closer until the Prometheus helicopters could be seen. They darted towards the wood, firing missile after missile into the woods (thats 120 missiles in total from all of the helicopters so theyre gonna hit something) and sprayed chain-cannon fire everywhere. As the missiles exploded, combined with the smaller cannon explosions fires had started everywhere in the forest, and where fast growing out of control.

The CF (Camewotian Fascists ) conquered some areas, heavy fighting is going together with Praetonia soldiers and mine.
I found someone to play CF ( You know him very well! ) so now the fighting is going further....I advise you read page 5 cause there the CF firstly posts on its on (I was playing CF till then)

P.s.: Were waiting for CF to post losses, we missiled his ambush (hihi!)

One request I have: a decent map. I have no problem with it looking bad being drawn on paint, it's more the information it provides. There was a dispute between myself and CF back there because I thought we were fighting in inner-sity terrain, whilst he (rightly) thought we were fighting in a jungle-ish terrain. Therefore could you make a map that shows:

1) Where the forsets are and open terrain is.

2) Where the cities (if any) are.

3) Where the main roads are.

4) Where my forces are.

5) Which areas of that the rebels control + any information we have on them.

Also, CF, I didnt post any helicopters going down because I dont know what kind of wepaonary you've got, so in your next post, post about your attempts to destroy them.

After watching your plea for assistance in this affair we have reviewed the situation in Camewot and feel that perhaps we can offer our experience in this matter to assist the keeping the order in your troubled cities as our first concern is to protect and secure your cities against any possible damage from this affair.

As such we have begun mobilising a Battalion of our experienced Peacekeeper forces. Unlike general infantry, Peacekeepers are trained specifically as to police a large area with lighter arms and armour as well as training in open communication with the populace to gain trust and support.

The fact that Iuthia is an ally of Camewot will hopefully help to gain the trust needed, as well as our repuation as a peaceful nation. This Battalion will be directly under your own leaders control with a few escape measures to assure that they can be pulled out should their orders be immoral or against Iuthian ethos.

The Battalion itself totals 800 soldiers and support personel to be transported to your nation at your request. We hope you can find use for these men and women and secure regions against rebel activity.

We are also concidering the use of our anti-terror specialists from the Black Viper Corps, these squads are trained to locate unlawful combatants though careful information gathering with your own intel and public support finally leading to the capture of possible threats to security of government officials.

This option is being left open as we have not heard of any specific terrorist threats to yourselves, however we feel that the option should be ready as a defence against such action.

Our Black Viper squads will remain on standby as per your requestion, due to their small numbers their continued mobilisation will not be exspensive and they can remain mobilised indefinately in preparation for their need.

However we must note that these squads are a counter-measure against specific terror attack and work to prevent such attacks before they happen, their work is delicate and discrete to allow normal life to continue uninterupted. However we can understand that instead of acting as a preventative against such attacks they can instead just be a responce.


As for our Peacekeepers, we shall begin trasportation immediately, we are certain this can be accomplished before the week is out* and they will take their orders from yourselves, we shall observe of course but we will not let our command get in your way and ruin organisation.

OOC Definitions: To help you, or others understand better our military in this circumstance here is a brief idea of our types of soldier.

Peacekeeper: The Peacekeepers are a much lighter version of our standard infantry, mostly trained to subdue criminals and respond in a safe manner to civilian issues. Like soldiers their training centres on team building and organisation, unlike soldiers they are trained to react more like a policeman and work with the community. In Iuthia they are the police seeing as Iuthia mergers all emergancy services into the military as part of its organisation. They are lightly armed and are highly visable wearing traditional uniform instead of camo. Their armour is more discete but it still exists in a lighter form from your standard infantryman.

Black Viper Specialist: The Black Viper Specialists (often the last part is dropped) are the pinicle of Iuthian training, these men and women are concidered to be the very best (in Iuthia) in their varied fields. However they each specialise in differing jobs which vary on the field best suited for each Black Viper ranging from assualt to inteligence to anti-terror. Mostly they are reckognised by their heavy carapace black armour when specialised in Assualt or other popular fields, however the Anti-Terror specialists are more about plain clothes, gaining contacts and working with local level intel... they are also trained to advise, command and even assualt suspected terrorists, completely covering any asspect of the work they have specialised in.

Many Black Vipers orginate from military run orphanages, which take a child on into a profession. Military training doesn't occur until they are of age, but they are looked after and educated better then most, focusing on their talents... after their complusory period they are free to join or get a civilian job, some join some leave. Those who join are there for life with attractive benefits which come in handy once the institutionalisation of the military kick in.

Now that Iuthia is involved we would prefer some information regarding Imperial Brits claim of territory in Camewot. Personally we have not been involved in enough of Camewots personal affairs but it looks highly suspicious to us...

However, we find the Imperial Brits threats to be highly offencive in the circumstance and as such we will mobilise a division to assist our allies should they act upon their threats. Clearly the actions of the Camewot Fascists are not those of the governments and as such action taken against Camewot, or even action taken against Camewots permission will be seen as an act of aggression against an ally and will be responded to as such as mentioned in the Concordia alliance constitution.

We do not take kindly to threats against our allies and as such we are preparing to back them. Mobilisations are being made just to assure you that we mean this in all seriousness and should actions be taken against our allies we will respond in kind. Meanwhile regarding an attack against my troops. It seems like you guys are assuming way to much of my communications. Firstly it must be noted that our assistance to Camewot was communicated between ourselves and Camewot command, it would require a very good mole for you to know where we are going to land our troops (arriving by sea) unless there is only one place to land our small number of forces.

I'm not against the attack as such, I am prepared to RP the arrival of my troops (only Camewot knows they are coming, so you would need good spies) and their defence should they be attacked... but by forces are just as easy to shoot when they are spread out in a city then they are when they are being transported to another nation. In fact I would argue it's easier and wiser for a terrorist group to simply have small cells of terrorists with automatic weapons shooting out of crowds or tall building while we try to do our job... think about how it happens in the real world and how America are loosing men... thats would be easier and more conventional.

The Praetonian convoy continued through the woods. Since the massive helicopter strike they had not seen or heard any movement in the forest. Perhaps the CF forces had forgotten about them. Perhaps they were just to afraid to return.

The two Trojan tanks that were destroyed were left smoking in the middle of the road, surrounded by Praetonian corpses. It was too dangerous to go back for them.

The Praetonian forces were approaching New Camewot, wondering if the Camewottians would take Praetonia up on their offer and ask for am entire Division of regular army to be sent to Camewot as peace-keepers.

The entire convoy stopped and the Praetonians readied their weapons. They could all hear the low humming by now. The last time this had happened they were napalmed, they didnt want it to happen again.

Offier: Spread out but keep away from the trees! Ready your weapons!

The hummoing was getting louder and louder, suddenly the enemy helicopter appeared from above the trees, the Praetonians fired.

Shit, they heard us! Soldier, call base and ask for 2 more helicopters + a troop of soldiers to attack them through the woods.

The Praetonians loosed shot after shot intothe helicopter, and they could see the blodd splash against the shattered cockpit window as they killed the gunner. Howeverthe helicopter continued eratcially, the pilto obviously trying to stay alive andfly at the same time.

The helicopter suddenly turned, relased the napalm in a huge shower and sped away

Officer: SCATTER!

The Praetonian ran backwards, attempting to avoid the fire raining from the sky. Coupled with the helicopter's hasteto get away, many of them made it to safety, but 18 Praetonians were burnt alive and a burning tree fell, narrowly missing a Trojan. The 62 remaining Praetonians continued towards New Camewot at a run. The Officer radioed back for helicopter air support.

General, we made it! The 2 helicopters wont be necessary and also not those troops, they made it into New Camewot!

Crap, lets focus on the battle in New Camewot then..

Also do you have spare ammo. It will be shipped in from Praetonia when the airport is ready but until then we are relying on you.

Camewot Laisson: Oure soldiers have camps not far away from here, they are highly gaurded and there arent any civilians around here anymore... The CF had given them the choice when they were around here, fight with us or kill you and youre family...
All the other civilians who got away are transported by us to the Capital.
For ammo, just go to the Ammunition Depot, there should be people around to help you find what you need

In the enormous Camewottian camp, everywhere stood loudspeakers.
The Praetonian soldiers asked themselffes for what they are for untill this:

The Praetonian soldiers grapped their kit and ran towards the departure area where thetanks were waiting. Quickly strapping on their kit and readying their rifles, they ttok up positions behind and to either side of the tanks, ready to folow them out.

Before the tanks left, someone stook his out of one of the tanks..

Praetonian Officer: We used to have three, but two of the guys carrying them have been killed so only one unfortunately. Do you expect mines? Will the CF have had time to plant them?

The whole city is full of mines, they were here long before we knew it!

I got 6, so we have 7 we are ready to go, intelligence says there are 10 snipers in the building and there shooting at two of our soldiers...

Praetonian Officer: Right men there are snipers operating in the area. Keep your helmets on at all times andnever stay entirely still for more than 3 seconds. Apparentlythereare no civilians in the area so shoot first and ask questions later. Move out!

After 15 minutes of keeping up with the tanks

The tanks suddently stopped, the same soldier got out of the tank:

Right behind this corner are the snipers, we suspect the Tunnelhole is not far from the building itself, we go behind the corner and start shooting at the building untill we hear nothing anymore, then you guys come around and start looking for the tunnelhole










(There are 50 Camewottian soldiers with the convoy to, ok? )

The two tanks rolled behind the corner, they were shot at immidiaetly, and one of them fired a missiles but it missed....

Holy Crap, Shark 2 get shooting

The two tanks shooted and all of a suddent it became quiet, the only sound was the building burning....

Once the smoke had begun to clear, the elite Praetonians quickly ran into the building, firing short bursts up at the building to suppress anyone who may have survived. They quickly ran around the side of the building, and formed a defensive circle, whilst two of the Praetonian soliders carefully searched for disturbed earth or other signs of digging.

OOC: Do you think we ought to wait for CF to get back before continuing?

The tank blew up but besides the people inside nobody died or got hurt..

All of a sudden they heard the sound of 50 helicopters in the air....
The gunners started shooting at the CF 'lines' while landing on the ground behind the Camewottian tank....

IC: Two Praetonians were fell to the CF bullets, but the remaining 61 continued to fire all over the flank of the CF forces, and continued to throw grenades at concntrations of troops, or those fool-hardy enough to try and charge the Praetonians.

Camewot, on the whole Iuthian didn't visit the nation very often due to it's troubles. Tourism from Iuthia wasn't really a big industry anyways, living in a warm climate took away the interest to visit other nations and many Iuthian's didn't have the money to go outside of the Urbanites region.

So very little was known about Camewot, it's history and culture were not well known, if at all, it was just an ally they had heard of, a nation where minor trade good occasionally came from or went to, though nothing notable. On the whole the people of Iuthia didn't really care much for the place... but then again the people of Iuhtia were not even concerned in the running of their own nation, their interest and imagination limited due to the culture of compulsory military which encouraged a form of disapline and respect among the people, though they were free to do as they pleased providing they let the government do it's job.

Now a couple large transports were arriving at a port in Camewot near where the Iuthian Peacekeepers would be positioned on their mission of peace. Many of the men didn't know the name of the city, they just remembered the basics and reviewed the few facts available... it would be routine and to the point; be visable and yet polite, patient with the people and working with them to solve their issues. They were not as boistous as other soldier, they were more akin to police men in a military uniform...

The trip had been uneventful, which was to be expected with the small number of escorts the Iuthian Navy had provided, they were looking to get this over with and get back home to their normal lives and loved ones.

It was a clear day, the sun carressing the land with it's warm rays and a few clouds scattered across the sky like sheep in a field of blue calm. It would be a nice day, many decided... it's a shame many of them would spend it in briefings but it hardly mattered, perhaps the weather would last.


Permission was granted to dock, the ships took their time slowly reaching their designated deepwater areas. With time they came to a full stop and they were ready to disembark on their mission. The Iuthian's had arrived and were prepared to get on with their job of securing the city.

First things first a small number of men and Command Sergeant Major Barakos* went down to meet with Camewot officials, whom were also escorted by their own military personel.


OOC: The assumption is this: The docks will be secured prior to our arrival seeing as it is impossible for our troops to secure them before they get off, however we will have a couple on board helicopters patroling the area to add security.

The point is that while it is possible that someone can attack, the chances of an attack succeeding are remote, it's too important this first meeting and neither side want something bad to happen at the first time they meet. So areas will be cover very well.

* This man is the NCO assistant to the Lieutenant Colonel who commands this battalion.

OOC: I should inform you, the only dock we have is the port in Burning City wich is on the other side of the country.....
It wouldent take long to RP the troops going into trucks and driving to New Camewot.
New Camewot isent habited anymore, the job of the peacekeepers will be especially to make sure the CF's dont attack the city anymore and to slowly get all civllians back to the city...

OOC: Err... you may have wanted to tell me that. I've told you that these are Peacekeepers they are trained differently from normal soldiers because they have a different role. They are more lightly equipped for so they are more acceptable to the populace they have to work with... getting them to defend an uninhabited city defeats the point of training them to deal with people.

However, seeing as they arrived by ship they have alot of equipement spare that they are still soldiers with the same basic training, it's just a little wasteful and they may not be as effective as our regular infantry.

Hands were shook and the Camewot runners ran of to inform their officials of their arrival. Above a Hippogrith Support craft circled the area keeping a watchful eye.

With his escorts Command Sergeant Major Barakos entered the meeting room where John Leutweiller sat. Luke Barakos was a bit of a veteran in his field and had helped to quell riots in Miserablia with nothing more then a few injuries and a accidental death, however in the mainstream military his reputation wasn't quite as impressive, the peacekeepers were not seen as complete combat ready soldiers, but more like policemen with additional training.

He wasn't a tall man, but he still gave the impression that he was taller then he was, his dark hair and tanner leathery skin gave others the impression that Iuthia was naturally a warm nation and that Luke got out alot... otherwise he looked like any other Sargeant, a bit of a bruiser with a quick mind. Currently his thoughts were centred on the mission at hand and how it didn't quite fit expectations.

"Greetings General Leutweiller, I'm Command Sergeant Major Barakos, assistant to Lieutenant Colonel Anderson who is currently engaged in pep talk with the troops... I won't lie to you but they are concerned about our assignment, our Battalion are more specialised for keeping the peace, while they can perform military opperations but they are not very experienced in this... I assume we will be backed up with other soldiers?"

Yes, yes, ofcourse...My government warned me about this questions, I know they have let you know you will be defending the city from attacks but that is ofcourse not you're main job....
The Civil War isent done for a long time but we are already setting up programs to get New Camewot to live again....
Each week a transport of civilians will arrive, its you're job to do what you do with the civilians....
Now, the ride to New Camewot is about a 12 hour ride...

The Praetonian forces advanced as the CF forces fell back, two troops falling to the sporadic gunfire of the retreating CF forces.

The entire Praetonian line, which was drawing itself round to try and encircle the enemy, suddenly stopped, and every trooper unloaded at least a full magazine into the CF forces, until the last man had either slipped away or been killed.

The Federation of Morathania currently has 2000 Marines in 2 ships off the coast of Camewot. We do not need transportation. A group of Chinook helocopters will leave immediately. Full transport is estimated to take 1.5 hours. The commanding officer is Lt. Col. North. After spending a couple hours organising the forces, the Iuthian prepared for their long trip to New Camewot, concerns had been raised as to the current political climate but assurances had been made to the troops and they were content for the time being.

The organisation of the actual trip was staggered carefully to ensure as much security as possiible for the trip, Helicopters and one Hippogriff Support Craft were being used to keep an eye out above the convoys, meanwhile humvees and other military vehicles would be watching on the ground, escorting the trucks and civilians if any were coming with them... that much would be down to the people of Camewot.

Security was tight though any soldier not taking part in the defence of the convoys was permited to get what rest he could so that as many as possible would be alert when they arrived... the journey would be staggered further to ensure rest had been gotten as they were in no hurry.

They didn't expect trouble as it was a pretty open road, little chances for ambush at this time and with the Iuthian travelling in force it made a hard target. Care was to be taken on the trip, nothing hurried everything checked.

OOC: Sorry I've taken so long, I've had matters to attend to.

Johnny checked his watch, he sighed, still 6 hours before the gaurd was changed..

Suddently they heard a sissing noise, they watched down and saw a grenade.
It was the last thing they saw before they fell asleep...

Meanwhile the 1st Brigade (Heavy Infantry) of the 9th Praetonian Division were boarding their ships, on the way to Camewot. They were protected by four frigates equipped for anti ship, anti air and anti submarine fighting.

Accompnying them were the 100 recently purchased Peregrine strategic stealth bombers. They were loaded with a cargo that the Praetonians hoped would save lives in the long run, and bring an end to the war quicker.

Once the bombers were over rebel-held Camewot, they split up to ensure maximum ground coverage, and so that the effects of their cargo could be felt by almost ever rebel stationed there. Once over their taregt zones they dropped, in unision, millions of progaganda posters. If only 0.1% of people who read them decided then to surrender, that would still be 50,000 people who would not be fighting for the CF the next day.

Many people were just working when they saw the bombers flying over, almsot 75% immidiaetly ran for a bombshelter wich the CF build massively...
After the posters landed on the ground many people picked them up and said: We dont like being invaded but what can we do?

OOC: I hope some tune into that radio station - it will help the CF troops who want to do something orchastrate a rebellion/escape kind of thing.

The 1st brgiade should arrive yes in 12 hours. It's too dangerous to fly them.

IC: Two of the Praetonian soldiers helped pull the CF troops back down the tunnel. Meanwhile the other two and the Officer jumped out, checking that there weren't any othe CF troops around that could call for help.

They didn't see any, so turned back and helped their comrades carry the CF troops. It should be hours before the CF even realied anything was going on.

Fortunately the trip to New Camewot was pleasantly dull, the Peacekeepers were no strangers to boredom and they welcomed it with open arms as the boredom meant peaceful hours with nothing to stare at but the scenary...

It had taken them about 13 hours to make it from the port to the outer limits of the city, it would only be another 30 minutes until they reached the base in New Camewot, but they were in no hurry... making sure that they remained vigilant and alert for the last part of their journey. The city presented many dangers, even when empty of all but Camewot's own soldiers.

It wasn't long after when they reached their destination, unpacked and prepared to do their bit in ensuring the peace... the men looked forward to seeing citizens, doing their work to make the world a bit safer, many of them had families of their own, many of them believed in peace in the same way a man would believe in god, it is important to think someone is prepared to defend the calm, the state in which normal lifes were lead.

So they refuelled, suited up and got their rest in shifts preparing to do their part for their Camewot allies, waiting their next orders.

Meanwhile, back at home in Iuthia concerns had been raised about the serious work their soldiers had been required to do and how it may be hindered by a war from others seeking vengance against Camewot.

It had been acknowledged that Iuthia wasn't to be involved in such an defence as it was not obligued of them, though arguements had broken out about the likely hood that the Ali'stan Accord may injure Iuthian soldiers... afterall all they were allied to Allanea, a nation which many in Iuthia would never trust for it's blatant warmongering. The Praetonian troops were also preparing. None of them were drunk, but they were nervous. It would be the first time they had seen battle. Some had been involved with the war on The Deadly Viper, but that war was over before they landed.

They had already prepared their equipment, and most were in briefings, or doing some final rifle practise. They were a professional fighting force, and they knew it, they had no doubts that they would win. Whether or not their confidence was founded remained to be seen.

OOC: as soon as Praetonia posts the national anthem

Huge megaphones rung out all over the camp. "Praetonian soldiers! Attention Praetonian soldiers! The plan is in action. Make your way to your helicopter departure zones."

Meanwhile, the plan was commencing aboard the PWS Insidious, the first of the Insidious Class EW destroyers (which can be bought from the Imperial Praetonian Shipyards).

Captain: Are you ready to flood all radio channels?

EW Officer: Yes sir! We've got any mobile phones and computers they may have as well.

Captain: Good! Proceed...

'Technological marvel this ship,' he thought, 'We can cause so many casualties without firing a single bullet.'

Every radio and microwave frequency in rebel held terriotry was flooded with the Camewottiannational anthem, the signal to rebel.

Meanwhile, high above rebel held territory, the Peregrine bombers were coming in for another 'attack'. Flying high above cloud cover their huge hull mounted megaphones started the same tune, whilst their bomb bay swung open dropping millions of posters saying only "Your friends are coming. You liberation is nigh!".

So it begins...

The Camewottian soldiers urged theyrselfes to the helicopter departure zone, they were onyl waiting for the Morathanians now, the helicopters where theyrs..




In CF territory

As the people in the area heard the national anthem, they digged up theyre handmade guns and started looting everything coming closer to the CF soldiers camps...
It would take them much courage to win but if they would see the first helicopters they would stop and wait for them to accompany them with soldiers....

The officer came heading for the HQ...

"You heared the Praetonians. Were going in. Get to the helocopter departure area. Come on Come on we don't have all day. Were going to strike these Fascist SOBs so hard they won't be able to blink for the next 5 days," screamed Lt. Col. North. "Lets MOVE OUT!!"

The Praetonian and Camewottian soldiers started loading into the chopters..
Many men would have to wait untill they got back before getting loaded in theyrselfes...
It wouldent take long to arrive, they heard the civillians would stop theyre rebellion once they saw helicopters...

Sharps gave the go sign and the first Morathanian helocopter lifted off the ground.

"Who's the commanding official," said North looking frantically.
"What do you need?"
"I need to tell him the Morathanian troops are in place ready to be airlifted."
"I'll tell him."

The Praetonian attack helicopters (not carrying anyone) had already taken off. They scouted out the heaviest areas of rebellion and moved to support the rebels.

"We haven't forgotten you!" They shouted as they fired their chaincannon into any CF soldiers who tried to stop them. "You are strong! You can beat them! Come on!" They shouted as theystarted firing missiles, and the co-pilots leant out of their windows to fire their rifles.
